Hash House a go go - The Plaza Hotel
Hash House A Go Go is located in The Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas. This uniquely named restaurant has an equally quirky atmosphere and menu. There are two dining areas for guests to enjoy, as well as a full-service bar area. Décor around the restaurant is consistently modern with blocks of color mixed in with the neutrals around the room and natural wood floors. Hash House A Go Go is a large restaurant with plenty of room for bigger parties of guests.
The bar area at the restaurant features an enormous selection of classic and original mixed drinks, a wide range of beers and international wines. Guests can also enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant. In 2014, Yahoo! Travel rated Hash House A Go Go as the best breakfast in Las Vegas. Some of the popular dishes include the Kokomo meatloaf sandwich, smoked salmon and BBBLT sandwich.

Excellent!!!! Best Chicken and Waffles in town
It was okay to try once. I’ll probably never go back. Everything I ordered had bacon, and I did NOT like the kind they served. The Mac and cheese for kids was tasteless. My dads steak tasted
Like Burnt char as if the cook forgot to season it. The hostess looked as if she hated working their and our waitress was MIA most of the time.
Loved it Monique was awesome.
Service was slow and sparse. Asked for table away from door to the outside (way too cold) and manager had to be consulted (and convinced). Had to flag down our waitress to order a drink. Food was OK- there was certainly lots of it... but lots certainly doesn't meant it was good. Overall I would give the concept an 'A' and the execution a 'C' (at this location).
Ashley was amazing!
The Sage Fried Chicken Benedict was so good. Big enough to share and still not finish the entire meal. The house coffee is good, service great, definitely reserve in open table, once it gets busy it stays busy.
Just as with the other locations for Hash House, the serving sizes are HUGE. The food is always delicious, but make sure you're either prepared to take home a lot or you share entrees with your tablemates!! The location in the Plaza hotel is convenient (right in the front) but there was an awful draft from the lobby doors next to the entrance to the restaurant so avoid the front tables during cold weather...
Good food, great atmosphere.. Loved everything about this place even the waffles were kind of hard, could of been softer..
If you want large portions come here but if you want service or wait for 18 minutes to pay your bill, then DONT come here! WE HAD RESERVATIONS but they couldn’t honor it cause they couldn’t find it
Food is amazing. Service was crap! Waitress ignored us. We had to flag her down for a refill on coffee, and rather than just fill my mother's cup, she brought two more cups of coffee for some reason. Never asked if we needed anything. And ignored us as we called out to her for a container to go. She would rather sit with the other waitresses and talk story with each other than do their job. Pretty sad, because this place has great food! Their San Diego location is FANTASTIC!
Enjoyed our visit to this location. Not nearly as crowded as when we went to a different location. Food was just as good!
If you like a lot of food and some great comfort food, this is your place.
Portion size is unimaginable. Go hungry or be prepared to dine on leftovers. Good comfort food. Very convenient to Fremont Street.
After hearing so much about this place, I decided it was time to take my father along with a friend we had visiting from out of town. We were seated quickly which was nice, but the table next to us must have previously housed a group of animals because they made an absolute mess. Their table was bussed, but the busser left food and rib bones on the floor which remained there for about 15 min while we were waiting on our food. Disgusting enough that we were close to walking out.
I am going to guess our server was having an off night as she was forgetful. She brought us our drinks but no straws. We asked for the straws and they never came. Eventually, I got up and went and found someone else to get them for us.
Once the food came we were glad we waited out the mess as it was delicious and the portions were enough that we could have fed 2 people easily with each order.
We will give HHAGOGO another shot and hope we just came on a bad night the first time.
Great food and service. Large portions.
A classic fun breakfast joint!
Large portions, but quite greasy and lacked flavor. I got the scramble with basil and goat cheese - eggs were dry and burned and the potatoes were soft and greasy. My friend got the meatloaf (was huge!) with mashed potatoes. Both were okay. Highly recommend mashed potatoes over fried.
Sadly the server failed to let me know that he forgot to put my order in. Instead another server basically lied to me stating that they had to make a new batch of batter hence the delay in my order. Everyone else in our party (5) were done with their food by the time my pancakes came out. My friend talked to the manager who then explained the real reason I didn’t receive my pancakes. Had the server been honest with me I would’ve been more lenient on this review.
Nice breakfast and pleasant staff. Seated before our reservation time which was great
Great service and such amazing food! All the plates are big enough to split between two people.
Ate at the one on Sahara a month ago and wanted a special place to go with my boyfriend. We were able to make reservations online, were quickly seated and our waitress came immediately. The food is incredible, portions are huge so we shared a plate. Our waitress was friendly but kept rushing us to order and then for us to leave. I don’t feel this is normal for this establishment. Overall another incredible experience!
I love the idea.I love unique food. I Just, in the two times I have gone there, think they try a little too hard to be different, and administer to the hip hangover crowd. The fried chicken just has so much going on, including teriyaki sauce.
Dining while on vacation. Too much breading on the chicken sandwich!!
I would definitely recommend sharing a plate unless you’re a competitive eater! The food was great but it was definitely more than one person can eat. Great value on pricing for a city like Vegas.
The food is great, huge portions for a great price. Service is trash - the management doesn't have nearly enough waiters per patrons and seriously needs to do something about it. We waited an eternity for food and drinks.
Actually ate here twice while in Las Vegas. Both times, breakfast and dinner, were great!
Met friends staying there. Seated quickly, server prompt, food came quick and was good, ends there. Was there for at least 2 hours was NEVER EVER asked if we needed refills on anything. Husband got up to ask for more coffee, etc, no one ever came and there was only maybe 3 other tables with customers. Life long Vegas residents. We won’t be returning. Food was good and hostess.
Great food and large portions.|I enjoyed the pancakes!
Horrible service. Was seated, drink orders taken and than ordered. That was the very last time we saw our server. Ran out of drinks mid way and nothing.... I had the Chicken and Waffles which was good. My husband had the Pork steak sandwich and it was horrible. Pounded so thin and overcooked that would could not even cut it with a steak knife. No server around to get more drinks or complain to. Finally asked the hostess to get the manager. He comped my husbands meal although stating he never recommends it as its horrible. Really? Apologized for no service stating he only scheduled two people to work. What!!!
We were there for breakfast and it was beyond our expectations. We split the sage chicken Benedict that layered all of our favorite breakfast foods. Everything on the breakfast menu is shareable. The waitstaff is also very helpful if you have a lot of questions.
I made a reservation, but had to wait for the hostess to find the podium and unenthusiastically seat myself and my party. As we walked to the table, I noticed the restaurant was a wreck! There were many tables that needed to be bussed and the floor was filthy; food, napkins and crumbs were everywhere. Adding to the restaurant's lack of dining appeal, it REEKED from the cigarette smoke billowing in from the casino. Stinky and dirty, I already had my doubts about spending my b-day dinner at Hash House a Go-Go. But since were were already there, thought I'd suck it up.....gulp.
Upon being seated we were told that the waitress would be right over. And so we waited. And waited. And waited some more. Not even being served a glass of water, we finally left after 10 minutes of being ignored. I can't say I was heartbroken (as the menu options looked lackluster), but the sheer disregard for cleanliness and lack of ability to acknowledge and serve guests is inexcusable in Vegas - too much competition to settle for such a substandard environment and horrible service . To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
Staff and management could use quite a bit of training (also an understatement).
Excellent food. They were waiting for us when we arrived. We were seated right away.
This was our second visit to Hash Hash A Go Go. The meal was great and our waitress was amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vegas.
The food was decent. The service was terrible. We had Gabby as our server. It took 15 minutes for her to tell us she will be with us soon and then another 10 minutes for her to come to take our drink order. The restaurant was not full. We only saw her when she finally took our order, dropped off our drinks and then our check.
We shared the chicken and waffles. It was fine. The half lemonade/half tea and the strawberry lemonade were no free refills ($1 refill) so our server filled our first glass to the top with ice that we could barely get our straws in...Nice! The horrible service makes us never want to come here again. There are much better options on the strip.
I made a reservation for 4, which was a good thing because there was a 20 min wait without one, but there were several empty tables. We were seated right away, waited almost 15 min before our server greeted us, by then we were ready to order but did not have any drinks. He took our order and drinks arrived about 10 minutes later. Food arrived 20 minutes after drinks. I ordered the blue plate special, which was roasted chicken, mashed potatoes and veggies. The ratio of mashe'd potatoes to chicken was ridiculous. The mashed potatoes took half the plate and I had to dig for the chicken. Potatoes were cold and chicken was dry. Veggies looked sad. My kids dishes were just as bad. Hambuger and fries, fries were cold. Chicken Fried Steak, dry. Chicken and bisquits, cold. We got halfway through our meal and our glasses of water were empty, could not locate waiter. When we finally saw him, we couldn't get his attention. He FINALLY walked by our table and we tried to talk to him and he put his finger up like to jester us to wait. He came to our table, and said to us he'll clear our table in a moment but what we wanted was water and had already finished our meals. He exclaimed and I really do mean exclaimed not explained, that they were short staffed and is only one person. Very rude!! Bad customer service! Food was not to par!! $85 check....smh! I will not return nor will I recommend. We visted this location 9/9/2018 @ 6:30 pm
Came from Pdx and this is our kind of food and environment.
We have been here many times and always have awesome food and service. Our only complaint is that the service seemed a little impatient when my kids were ordering.
Out of the 8 of us dining there only 1 persons meal was correct and when we told the waitress she said “my bad I can’t control the kitchen”
Huge portions! Restaurant is inside Casino
The chicken & waffles were absolutely amazing! Super fantastic & I would definitely recommend to everyone!
