Hash House A Go Go - Moorestown
Great food with huge portions! My flapjack was hanging off of my plate. They have one of the best BLT Bloody Marys.
My friend and I had an enjoyable meal at Hash House A Go Go. I had the chicken eggs benedict and the portion was very generous with delicious fried chicken, scrambled eggs, plenty of bacon sitting on top of several large home-made biscuits- topped with a chipotle gravy that had a good "kick" to it.
My friend had the rosemary chicken and waffles and syrup which looked very good. We also had the chips and salsa and tasty gucamole. The vodka cherry lemon aid cocktail was good and refreshing however, the jar was plastic and I prefer glass. Our server was good and efficient.
The decor of the restaurant is cool & rustic reflecting a farm/agriculture atmosphere. I did not like all the TV screens in the dining areas because they are distracting when you are talking to each other (should just have TV's in bar areas only).
It was OK. Food is heavily on the unhealthy side, but I knew that going in. They ran out of Chicken Friend Steak on a Saturday at 7:30. Appetizers were good, but the burger was lacking. Meat was missing flavor, they tried to make up for it by buttering the role and adding guac and low quality cheese. There is a reason the other locations are in tourist markets as you wouldn't eat here with any regularity. I give the place a year.
First time there but definitely not the last time. Great food and environment.
good food big portions, my favorite is the hammered fried pork sandwich, its just one tasty sandwich,
the crunch u get from the fried pork is perfect.
Didn’t get biscuits at my table this time. Maybe they only give them out during dinner? Still enjoyed. Great service!
Food delicious, wonderful service. Would love to receive a coupon once in a while
Food was not good. Chicken was hard and dry. Burger was hard and over cooked.
Great food, great atmosphere and the portions are HUGE!!
Breakfast was amazing portions, great variety of food choices. Definitely will be back again
Our wait staff was too cute! Was mannerly, thoughtful and a pleasure
Food was very good and the portions are huge. We had a great time.
if you haven't eaten there you ....this place is a must eat at restaurant....outstanding.
Sat us in a room with only one other occupied table so felt very empty. Took forever to get drinks due to only having one bartender (on a Saturday?) Bloody Mary was uninspired. Food was bland, nothing special at all. Shrimp Po Boy was small fried shrimp with limp lettuce on a flavorless roll. Would not go back.
Friends get together before WDAS Block Party!!!!
Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We both enjoyed our meals and had plenty to take home.
We will go back to sample other items fromthe menu.
I rec'd a flyer that they were doing Taco Tues & since the Don Pablo's closed near us I was excited to try. Last time I was at Hash House the food was great! This time, the food was just ok. The tacos were all soft four tortillas no other option, small & u had to pay per taco w/no sides. HH stick to what ur good at & nix Taco Tues. Nice try.
We enjoyed the restaurant and the food was outstanding.
The service was great, my wife and I noticed a manager from a different restaurant.
The most great tasting food for the price!!
We have been telling everyone who would listen just how good it is
The menu was as substantial as the amount of food portions - very large! The quality of the entrees was excellent. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The HH Bloody Mary was very enjoyable as well. Will definitely return to try other menu items. Highly recommend!
Service was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We shared a macaroni and cheese as an appetizer, which was ok but wouldn’t order again. Order the sage fried chicken and waffles and crab cake sandwich for dinner. Both were delicious but make sure you’re hungry because the portions are huge! For dessert we split the red velvet waffles which were also delicious! Again portions are big, plenty to take home. Will definitely go back.
Had dinner with friends. This was my third time here but their first. Dinner was delicious and tantalizing . Our server was awesome and very tentative. We had crab cakes, r and veggie burger. Food was warm and plentiful. My friends took their food home since we got so much. We love coming here. My kids gave my husband a gift certificate....we will be back again for sure!! You will not be disappointed at this lovely restaurant!!!
Two people in our group got the chicken pot pie and neither of us liked it. It was very bland and most of the big chunks of vegetables were very undercooked. I don’t know if I will be back.
Staff was very good food was a little spicy should of put the sauce on the side. I asked for my egg to be scrambled and they put it on there sunny side up after the waitress said it comes out scrambled. Other than that the price was good for the amount of food they gave you. Also the drinks were very good.
Took my father there for Fathers Day Dinner. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended. You definitely get more bang for your buck here. Portions are huge!
We had reservations for Father's Day. A party of 3. Asked for a booth instead of a table when we arrived, and was told that the booths were for bigger parties. However, we later noticed that parties of 3 were being seated at booths. Asked our waitress how that happened, and she couldn't even give a reason why. Husband and I ordered crab cakes. Too much filler. Didn't taste any crab. Asparagus was overcooked and salty. Mashed potatoes were cold. Paid $70 and all we ate was a little bit of crab cake and the carrots. Terribly disappointed as it was Father's Day and I wanted my husband to have a nice dinner.
We reserved a table at 3pm and receptionist said just wait a few minutes. We waited 45 minutes and I went to receptionist to let her know we have been waiting a long time for a 3pm reservation. They found us a table within 10 minutes. Wait time for a reservation is too long but everything else was great.
Food took way too long and had to wait an hour and a half for table even though I had A reservation
Painfully slow. Server didn't even come to our table for 10-15 minutes after we were seated. Our brunch took an hour and a half, most of which time was waiting. The people at the table next to us waited over an hour for their food. The myraid people at the host stand had no idea what they were doing. After we got our bill and one of the items was more expensive than the menu, we brought it up to the staff at the host stand and one of them said oh well I guess the computer is wrong and turned away. Food was good and the coffee excellent.
This has been the worst service I’ve ever had. I know it’s a holiday but we were seated a half hour after our reservation time. Our food took over an hour to come out, our waitress only came to our table every 30-40 minutes to see if we needed anything. After our food came out it took over 20 minutes for our waitress to see if we needed anything so by the time my husband got syrup for his chicken and waffles it was cold. The food runner had no idea where the food was even going and was just walking to each table asking people if that’s what they ordered. It’s a shame it was such a bad experience because the food is delicious.
We’ve been here quite a few times even though it’s fairly new
Not sure they were prepared for a crowd on Fathers Day brunch
The staff seemed overwhelmed and exhausted and the kitchen was slow at 1:30PM
They had run out of one of their popular menu items (gravy for biscuits and gravy)
We were fine with it all and will return but see my next paragraph
One of the things that did annoy me was them deciding to start cleaning the area where we were still eating including sweeping right at our table basically under our feet and then moving surrounding tables and chairs along with tables from booth areas to clean as though the place was closing for the evening . I know they like things to appear clean and I appreciate a clean restaurant but people were eating and waited a long time to do so. There are ways to do this maybe a table at a time or addressing the tables that had a mess under or on them but this was not the time to be moving dining room furniture al over without concern for the patrons . The area also became an obstacle course to get around in an already crowded restaurant
Great food and friendly staff! Place is always busy so be prepared to wait...even with a reservation.
The atmosphere was great. The food was excellent. We went on Father's Day and it was packed but I had a reservation so we were seated within 20 mins of the reservation. It was a while for entrees to come out because their food is made fresh to order but it was worth the wait. Big portions! Service was also excellent. The waitress was very attentive. Can not wait to go back again.!
Went for Father’s Day lunch.
Had 12:15 reservation, but were not seated until 1:00.
The place was a mad house and they seemed to be overwhelmed. But, once seated, service was great and the food was awesome! Will definitely be going back!
The check in process and communication with the hostess is what makes me want to give a one star. A new system needs to be in place. The hostess with the red hair is the only reason we didn’t walk away and never return. Besides the lengthy wait with a reservation and wait for drinks/food. Our service from our waiter was great and food were big portions worth the money ! We will definitely return off peak!
Food was delicious. Sausage gravy and biscuits were delicious as was the hot chocolate!
We had a reservation for Father's Day. A party of 4 with a reservation that specifically requested indoor seating. After waiting for 30 minutes, we were told that there was a table outside but that a table inside would require a longer wait so we took it even though the umbrella was supposedly broken and we were stuck in the sun. After placing our order, we waited for an hour and half and still hadn't received our food. At this point, it started to rain. There was no waitress around and no backup plan of where to place the outside diners that were completely exposed to the elements. Multiple tables requested to speak with a manager who couldn't bother to come out and address the situation. The outside diners were left just standing inside with no course of action and no food in sight. As we hadn't even received our food (2 hours after the reservation at this point), we decided to just leave the restaurant. It was an incredibly unprofessional experience and when the manager finally did make an appearance, she was very rude and unhelpful. I have been to the Hash House A Go Go locations in both San Diego and Las Vegas and I am very disappointed in this experience. I will not be returning to the Moorestown location in the future.
I waited 2 hours for my food. We never received it. The table next to me had a kid they just sat down and they received their food. The waitress said it’s because they have a little kid. I still think that’s unfair. It started raining no waitress was around and no manager came. 3 other families not including myself just up and left. I find it very unprofessional. We told other people waiting our experience they up and left as well. I called to speak to the manager and I was on hold for 15 mins I finally hung up.
Food was amazing! First visited this restaurant in Vegas and fell in love. So, I was soo thrilled when this location opened in Moorestown. Food was greah and the portions are HUGE! Highly recommended to all!
Great Father’s Day Brunch!
Food overrated and service needs to improve
