The food has gone downhill. The famous chicken and waffles were small and overcooked. Wish it was as good as it used to be.
Excellent Brunch and Bloody Mary's
Dinner menu is excellent, our favorite at Mohegan Sun!
My fiancé an I decided to visit Hash house A Go Go on Monday. After constantly passing by it in the casino on different occasions and wondering about it we said lets go for it.
Vibe was awesome. The server/ host / etc was awesome. He introduced his self to us as Frank. I will tell you this Frank was amazing. I couldnt have asked for a better person to be to take care of us, and he did just that. He was a breath of fresh air. When our food came out i was excited there was a heaping amount of food on the plates. The sage chicken and Waffle had such a pretty presentation. I ordered the crab cake benedict. To my surprise it was awful, the biscuit was hard and the egg that was supposed to be over easy was fried hard. And did i mention the biscuit was like a brick. The crab cake was barely done. There was a too much going on, on that plate. I wish that it had lived up too my expectation. When Frank came over to check on us he could instantly see my frustration and disappointment. He was apologetic and offered whatever he could. unfortunately it was too late i was over it. But he assured me that that the dish was normally a really great dish. So i am still deciding if i will come back and give it another try.
The food was amazing, the portions are big. Overall, we loved the place 😊❤️. I will return again.
Sooo good!! The chicken and waffles were huge and delicious!!!
Great meal at a great value . Atmosphere is great . Always a wonderful meal . Just a little loud .
Our waitress was friendly and her service was good. That's about all I could comment as good. My breakfast was cold. My wife is a decaf tea drinker and they had no options for her. The table we sat at (right near the entrance) was drafty (and chilly) as evident by our check kept almost blowing off the table when our waitress brought it to our table. I've been there many times before. It appears that each time the experience is getting worse. Finally, I was quite surprised that even though we were 15 minutes early for our reservation and the restaurant was not busy, we were told that we would have to wait until our reservation time because there was not enough staff available. SAD !!!!!!!!!!
Arrived with good expectations based on menu. Appetizer order took 45minutes. Fried green tomatoes. They were best part. The dinners were ok. Fried food. Nothing that tasted great though. My wife didnt get what she ordered when the main course finally arrived. Waitress corrected that, but still annoying after the real long wait. Not worth the time it took to get served here. We will not return.
Great time overall
This place was just ok. The waiter wasn’t overly friendly and didn’t really provide good service. Had to ask multiple times for drinks. Food took a lot longer than normal to come out. Two of the four orders were wrong, one had to be sent back bc of an allergy. That was expedited, but we all sat there out of courtesy with our food in front of us waiting for the correct food to come back so that we could all eat together. When it did come out it was still incorrect but at least without an allergy issue. They never offered anything other than a apology for the screw ups...so won’t be on my list of places to get back to any time soon
Great! Food was good. Customer service good.
Disappointed as ordered farm scrambler with sun dried tomato, pesto and goat cheese and only got the eggs with tomatoes . When questioned was told out of other ingredients . Also server was very slow with coffee refills . Not a good experience. Sorry.
Best brunch in CT and reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
Portions are huge! We had an excellent meal and everyone working there was friendly and accommodating. Busy restaurant on New Years Eve but it was an awesome experience!
Great guacamole! The atmosphere is great too. This is our 3rs trip and we were not disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit.
I love the food but it is very loud in there I could not hear the person I was dining with
Overall the food is very good and the service was great.
Went to cirque celebration show
The food overall was good, but it took over 45 minutes for it to be ready and the restaurant was not crowded.
The service was terrible. Our server took our order, came over once to tell us that our food would be out soon and then disappeared. We waited over 30mins for our food (which was only scrambled eggs) in a restaurant that wasn't even crowded. The food was fine, the service ruined our experience.
Met a reservation online. Arrived 20 minutes early because we knew there would still be a line. Had multiple conversations with the host who kept us informed that our table was being bussed but would take a while since the restaurant had only one busboy on duty. 20 minutes past our reservation time, we were informed our table was accidentally given away. Finally seated 30 min past reservation time but server was inattentive and unapologetic, even after we told him that he forgot multiple parts to our order. We sent back two plates — One was prepared incorrectly, and one was cold. Completely disappointing experience.
Try the chicken and waffles it's the best!!
You always get your money worth, get 2 meals for one.
I got the chicken and waffles. Wow. Just wow. There’s not much more I can say. I’m in awe at how moist the chicken was. The flavor well the sage comes through and does NOT disappoint.
This is our go-to breakfast spot when we go to the casino. Great diner-like breakfast. Plenty of food, good flavors, fast friendly service.
After the last year xperience at the hash house I don’t know why I agreed To go again figuring everybody has a bad night and gave it another try. There were two of us and we were seated at this cramps little table. Waitress came over we ordered our drinks and play star order the food came promptly but we had no silverware only a napkin. As I noticed this as the person from the kitchen left our food I said to her we have no silverware and she walked away and never came back . I’m not seeing our waitress anywhere I got up and took silverware off another table. The food was mediocre for comfort food. I don’t think I go back there:
Good food very large portions. Service was good. Nice place to go before a show or for a casual meal.
Love the senior menu excellent prices and great food was very impressed
My wife birthday breakfast
If you are a complete picky eater this may not be your place. The portions were huge! I wish I wadn't going straight into a concert and could have taken my leftovers with me, it was that good. Definitely a place to try. For dining at Mohegan, the prices were really reasonable. A definite go-to on our next stop in that area.
Eggs were cold, service was slow , very overpriced
My husband and I were seeing a show at Mohegan Arena So I made a reservation for 5:30. We arrived at 5:20 and we’re told we could not yet be seated. We sat near the bar and waited. Meanwhile two additional parties of two arrive for their 530 reservation and we’re seated. When I complained the snotty hostess/manager without bothering to look up from her computer informed me that “reservations are not a guarantee for seating time”. Really dear? Try looking up the definition of reservation. Food was ok; ambience meh. We won’t be returning .
We had reservations and we’re seated on time. Huge selection of food and our order was also served quickly and food was hot. Hostess and waitress were also friendly and kept checking on us throughout are meal. Overall great experience and we’ll definitely be going back.
Food was not hot. Luke warm at best. Ordered chips and quac, but they were out of quac and the server didn't inform us until we asked where our appetizer was. By then, it was too late. One meal was incorrect as the eggs were not cooked as ordered (poached vice over-hard...big difference). They took $7.00 off that meal as "he ate most of it". Won't be going back again.
The food never disappoints and the wait staff is always great. Hash House Mimosa is my favorite.
The service was lacking from the moment we arrived at the hostess desk. When the hostess arrived she didn't acknowledge us and proceeded to yawn while she looked at the reservation system. Beyond that the service was slow and the food seemed tired. We watched as others around us struggled to get service and it was to the point of laughing at how slow and inattentive the staff was.
Service was horrible...asked 3 times for a lime. The place was EMPTY. No excuse for this. Never asked us after the food came out if all was good, etc. Overall, a diner experience and not a great one. Food was just meh. Would not come back. It was good because we were in a hurry but even then we had to rush to get to our show. We sat for 10 min before waitress first came to our table and sat another 15 until we had our drinks.
Very nice but very loud
Service was abysmal. Treatment by wait staff was shockingly bad. Waiter was awful, never got second cup of coffee, never got requested extra napkins, ordered eggs medium well and they came out literally raw. Waiter when asked for an extra plate told me "no!" When I asked for manager he told me "No!" Will never go back and will pass the word to everyone I know that this place doesn't care about customers. The whole team there should be fired!
Inconsistent food preparation. Sometimes good but not always. Frequently out of menu items. Same dish will have different ingredients each time I order it. Hash served in cast iron skillet but the skillet is barely warm on the outside so it gets cold fast making food cold before it can be consumed but they refuse to serve it on a plate instead when requested. Don’t know why the run out of tea all the time. Amy the manager is really nice though. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem as though she has much control over the incoming supply orders.
