I really hoped to like this place, but they had the worst burgers I’ve ever tasted (thin, dry, overcooked), and my salad was so disgusting I could not eat more than half. It was just a mush of some type of bacon and too much vinaigrette that overpowered everything. One of our friends was so distressed by the experience he was grumpy the rest of the evening. Service was less than stellar to put it mildly. On top of everything they overcharged my friend’s credit card, but to their credit they did fix the mistake and gave him a gift certificate.
Crazy big portions...too big sort of a waste. But enjoyable
Our meals were very good, but we never got our appetizer which we ordered well ahead of our entrees and we were looking forward to trying. Also disappointing because we were there celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday and it put a bit of a damper on the night. The charge for the appetizer that we didn’t receive was removed, but no other accommodations were made to make up for the mistake.
Will maybe try again. Everything just OK.
Food was amazing! You get a lot for your money. The basket of chicken and fries appetizer was phenomenal.
Have eating at Hash House A Go Go several times on our trip to Mohegan Sun. Always very good food very good service and a very good value
Always a pleasure to visit Hash House A Go Go. Server was slow and confused but it gave me ample time to talk to a friend.
Bloody Marys WAY overpriced! $18.00 for a drink is crazy. Granted it was garnished with strip of bacon, a slice of tomato, piece of lettuce, and small piece of bread but does not warrant price of a meal!!
We were able to be seated earlier than our reservation time but it took an hour to get our meal. One of the meals was wrong- asked for no ketchup but ate it anyway. was never asked if we wanted dessert. took about 15 minutes to get our card back after paying for the meal
We waited for our server for over 10 minutes and when he finally approached us, it was evident that he did not want to work on Easter Sunday. He took our drink orders which took him another 15-20 minutes because he was busy chatting at the bar. He finally took our order after waiting for about 20 minutes after our drinks but did not put the order in the system until after he took the order of another group who had arrived 15 minutes after we did. Our food came along with this other group and at that point, I've noticed other customers who came after us already eating. BUT, he forgot to put in my husband's order which was the same as mine and we knew he forgot. His order came about 15 minutes later. The food was just as awful as the customer service. We didn't have this experience the first time we were there but after this, we will not be returning!
Food was really good. Service was exceptional. Got there about 20 minutes earlier than our reservation and they took us right in. Would go back again.
First time eating here and the food quantity above what I expected and quality was also very good. Tried three items, the chicken pot pie, the crust was a biscuit style with herb seasoning and an excellent compliment to the contents. The mac and cheese with bacon was also tasty and of a large quantity. lastly the ribs appetizer with corn on the cob, tangy sauce with a hint of teriyaki flavor.
Great!!! Food was great!!!
The food was totally out of this world, amazing portions for the price.
Food was very good, huge portions. Definitely will be back.
Amazing food! Huge portions!!
Chicken was awesome and the happy hour deals were excellent!!
I took a friend out to celebrate a special occasion. It was to be a nice dinner followed by a concert at 8:00 at the Mohegan Sun Arena. We arrived at 6:25 for our 6:30 reservation and were seated promptly as there were only 6 or so other tables filled. As we placed our dinner order, we requested the goat cheese topping on my friend’s salmon plate be “on the side” mentioning that I could not eat goat cheese. I ordered the sage fried chicken topped dinner salad which included blue cheese as a topping. Our meals were promptly served by 6:55. To the waitress’ surprise, my meal came with goat cheese rather than the blue cheese on the menu. She promptly reported this to the kitchen and returned saying she “put the slip in”. At about 7:10, she returned to our table to apologize for the mistake/delay as my friend consumed her meal. She told me the manager would be right over as a courtesy. He finally came to the table at 7:20 or so, apologized saying he JUST heard of the situation, and offered me a drink. We explained that we had tickets to an 8:00 concert and that the wait for a replacement meal had already taken longer than the time it took for my friend to finish her meal. Nice special occasion dinner together! He then went to the kitchen and returned about 7:25 with my meal. Aggravated and disappointed, although he DID NOT OFFER, I insisted I was not going to pay for the salad. So, I had 10 minutes to gobble my meal and pay $31.00 (which included the tip on both meals) before having to run out. I feel the manager totally dropped the ball and the kitchen staff obviously gave no priority to rectifying THEIR initial mistake. I do not recommend this restaurant and and will not return, myself.
Busy on a Sunday mid-morning. Food is some-what unique & surprising. Very large portions & pretty good all around. Nice drink menu too. Staff was adequate , did not check on tables after food was served ( had to get my own sugar packets as mine was empty) but was all over the check when it came time to pay- otherwise a very nice place
Every year I get my Mom tickets to the American Women’s Basketball Championship, and we get breakfast here before the game! Having reservations has been so helpful to get right in, and not have to wait. We were seated for our reservation time, and were able to enjoy our breakfast then head to the game.
Good food, portion size very large, enough leftovers for at least another meal. Excellent service and relatively quiet for a casino setting.
The food was not very tasty. A good spot to eat if you want quantity over quality.
Service was especially slow. When food arrived, a couple of the meals came out cold to the extent that they needed to be sent back and redone. Once food arrived it was good. Staff was very pleasant , but suggested they where having problems in the kitchen and it was out of their control.
Had a reservation and they were able to seat us within 5 minutes on a Saturday night. Excellent food. Massive portions. Service was great. Unique layout but it was nice to not feel like I was on top of the other tables like so many other restaurants in the casino.
Our food was fantastic, as always. Our server, however, could use more training on etiquette. We were served our appetizer without napkins, plates, or silverware. We fetched our own napkins that were left on a table nearby. We had to ask for straws for our water. We then had to ask multiple times about our drink orders. We had presented a coupon before ordering and sure enough had to ask her to recalculate our bill because she had forgotten about it. A few things forgotten is one thing but we literally had to ask for things we needed throughout our whole dinner.
Spectacular food and service!! The Happy Hour drinks were a great deal! We will definitely be going back soon!
We were seated promptly but two of the chairs had spilled drinks on them and were not cleaned. I had to take chairs from another table to replace them. The service was slow and the food was ok but not great. We also asked to have some silverware replaced that was dropped on the floor but the server forgot so again I had to take some silverware from another table. I may try going there again sometime but I was not impressed.
Very poor service, disorganized and no corn beef or meatloaf hash available.
The food we ordered was tasty but not what we wanted.
We had a 7:15 reservation, showed up a bit early and was happy to hear they would seat us. We went here specifically for the stuffed meatloaf special, as it was the blue light special on mondays. The "special" supposedly starts at 5 and by 6:30 they told me it was sold out.. really? So we order a different dish and it takes forever to come out. When we asked about the delay, and the rope across the front of the restaurant, we find out the two chefs walked out! Some dispute apparently but no one even told us! So who made our ribs?? They were well made, so no issue on the food specifically but they should have been upfront with us.. we probably would have left. Funniest thing is the next morning they were still serving breakfast with no chefs!! Poor management of a crisis situation! Patrons come first!
Always love going here. Service, food and atmosphere are amazing. Will come back again.
Very eclectic menu. Fun place to eat, but certainly could use a few more healthy food options.
Great place! I go there nearly every time I go to Mohegan.
Overall good meal but we were a bit disappointed by 2 things. The bacon appetizer was cold(room temp). When we asked our server about it she said that this is the way they serve it. It made for pastey fat bacon. Not very good. The waffles and sage fried chicken were wonderful but way too much for one person. Wish we were told this because we both ordered one. Plenty for Sharen no next time!! And, the chicken and waffles with bacon in the batter were awesome!!
food and service good, great value...no complaints
The food was ok. The service was ok. The portions were huge.
Portions are VERY generous and the taste
of the food very good .
Staff is efficient , professional and personable . Always an enjoyable and fun time .
My waitress was horrible. There weren't too many food options. My mother wantes a cobb salad ,but there's didn't come with eggs and they wouldn't accomodate. I ordered a margarita, but it was watered down. We were supposed to get our drink glasses but weren't offered our glasses. When i inquired about it from my waitress she never came back.
This is our third time at this location and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic as always and the service was friendly and prompt.
Service was extremely slow! 7:30 reservation didn’t get out of there til 10:30. Every time we ordered something waitress forgot something. She was very pleasant but we saw tables come and go and we were still there.
Fun vibe and eclectic menu, this restaurant offers comfort food with large portions - be forewarned! You won’t leave hungry! I opted for the crab cake sandwich - very tasty and more manageable. Get there early / Happy Hour is 2-6pm daily. Waiter was friendly and helpful.
