   Flew to Tupelo from Florida to surprise my mom for her birthday. Had gone online and made a reservation after reading reviews, however my mom had another restaurant in mind. So I cancelled Harvey's reservation and proceeded to other restaurant where my mom had her heart set on prime rib. They had none, so we finished our cocktails and proceeded to Harvey's to have prime rib! Delicious!! Dominick was our server and Amy the mgr. , both gave stellar service. Food was awesome. Will definitely be back!

   We booked our reservation online and got right to our table as soon as we arrived! (And there were several people waiting for tables). The food was great as always and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We love Harvey's!

   My first dining experience in a new long distance relationship - in his town - and I wanted to find a nice place. After asking around and doing some research on OpenTable and a couple of other sites, I decided on Harvey's. They did not disappoint. Friday evening 7:30, the lobby was CROWDED with patrons waiting for a table. Reservations for this place - especially at peak times - is a God send. The ambiance was great - mellow lighting. Service was phenomenal. We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. They were seasoned just right! My date experimented with the Blackened Catfish and really liked it. I had one small issue, my Rib Eye was medium instead of medium well. The problem was rectified quickly. Several team members (floor lead, manager, etc.) came by to ensure that all was well. This will definitely be a regular spot for us when I visit Tupelo.

   My dad's birthday Friday night and he is in a wheelchair . It is a treat to go out to dinner where everything is accessible and there are no issues getting him seated. We had the best waiter, his name was Cameron S and he was very attentive and friendly. He had a great personality and make sure everything was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves and he even put the cupcakes on a plate and lit the candles. My dad really enjoyed himself and it was a perfect evening.

   We were anticipating a wonderful meal but got a less than satisfactory one. First plates came with cold grits so theywere returned. Staff and server very helpful and apologetic. Next plates came and the grits were warm but had large, hard lumps in them! And the rest of the food was cold. Not a good experience for the price of the meal. We won't be back.

   We had a very nice lunch at Harvey's in Tupelo, meeting family members from Memphis. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, and we had a relaxed and very pleasant long lunch without any pressure from the staff. Thanks to the staff for a very pleasant Sunday Lunch.

   The restaurant ran out of their signature Prime Rib that Thursday night. We ordered other meals of which one of the meals was hot and the others cold and tepid to the touch. I don't know if they came out of the kitchen cold or just that there after the order came up. Was a pretty dismal experience with the food. The manager was more than apologetic and worked hard to make things right. We decided to pass on them trying "again" to make the meal so it would be hot. I would be inclined to give them another chance with the manager working so hard to be kind and apologetic.

   Harvey's has never disappointed us, this is where we enjoy going for a special occasion. They were kind enough to send us a voucher for a free dessert as a gift for our anniversary and it along with our dinner was great. We will be back and highly recommend it for their good food and service.

    Lighting could have been raised some. Very hard to read menu. Prices are more than the Grill and can get same food for less. Hostess was a little boggled at first and then upon leaving a different hostess was standing at front swearing profusely, not very appealing after eating there. Overall good experience though.
