The younger women who work here need to get a personality check. They were so rude and short with us from the second we arrived. They basically pointed at our table when they finally looked up at us when we walked in. I almost got an eye roll when I asked if they did a smaller sized latte. The food was lovely and it seems a very popular place with the James street crowd but I would not recommend this to anyone who likes a smile served with their coffee.

Came here with a friend on his recommendation for dinner. He was raving about the deep fried olives (what a surprise), and the halloumi crusted Chicken Schnitzel. I agreed wholeheartedly with his thoughts and the Aromatic Gin bowls were something else to add to the list. These drinks served with frozen fresh fruit were the best delivery of a gin and tonic I think I’ve ever had. Lovely decor, good service and overall great night. Thanks!

You can tell that the owner is an executive chef. None of this restaurateur business where a savvy person in business hires the most economic chef they can find (for usually short periods only). This place is our go-to restaurant for fine a-la-carte dining.

Had a family Sunday breakfast catch up at Harvey’s in James street and as always the food and ambiance is fabulous. We had a lovely attentive young man looking after our table and he was A+ , plus he was just so sweet to my 90 year old Mum . Thank you ! We’ll be back again and again.

Very friendly staff who always greet you very warmly. Quick service. Amazing food which is consistently delicious whether you ate there for breakfast lunch or dinner. Place was spotless and great bathroom facilities as well. Harvey’s is one of our favourite restaurants to dine.
