Harvey & Ed's
concept to be introduced by Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. Harvey & Ed’s is a lively eatery inspired by the classic New York delicatessen and its hand-crafted roots passed down through generations. The chef-driven menu will feature traditional deli “noshes” with a contemporary twist, focusing on fresh ingredients, simple preparations and familial hospitality. Menu favorites include chopped liver, matzo ball soup, potato latkes, popular deli sandwiches, house smoked
fish towers, and a broad range of chef-inspired entrees.
Very nice Deli-style restaurant. Great food and service. Not too noisy.
Family meal. Everyone loved their food. Service very good.
Nice and attentive. No mistakes.
Only complaint is that the french fries that my husband got with his Reuben sandwich appeared and tasted like they were made from store-bought frozen french fries. I would expect better from a Cameron Mitchell restaurant:-)
We are HUGE Cameron Mitchell fans! We have eaten at all of his local restaurants and choose to do so on a regular basis. This was our third trip to H&E. We wanted to introduce it to our son who had just returned from deployment, along with his family. He was looking forward to deli food and we suggested H&E. In each past instance to H & E and including this recent visit, we found the service to be consistently slow. This time, we waited almost 45 minutes just for our order to be taken. The food was OK but nothing remarkable. This turned out to be another disappointing visit and most likely our last. Sorry, H&E is just not up to CM standards.
Good food and great service. I told the hostess I was uneasy about where I parked. She went above the best customer service in finding an answer for me. I was most appreciative.
We came in for brunch/lunch for mine and my step-brothers bdays. Food was all really good! The matzah ball soup was awesome! I had the omelet of the day (smoked salmon and capers) and it was good too. I love that they serve blocks bagels. Highly recommend checking out Harvey and Ed’s!
Very slow. Experience was just ok. Errors in bill.
Food and vibes were great! Only thing my friend and I were slightly disappointed on was the size of the Latke appetizer. For the price, we were at least expecting to be share more than one, or at least a larger one. Otherwise, love it and will definitely be back.
Fun lively delicious deli in C’bus! Matzoh ball soup perfect! Lox yummy. Turkey sandwich with coleslaw delish!
Spicy Bloody Mary to start, wIth what we detected as fresh horseradish! Wow! Great!
We stopped in for our anniversary and were excited to try Mitchell's new Jewish deli. We started off with the the hot Ruben dip with bagel chips we gave it a 7 and an order of plain Latke's we gave an 8. We split everything, so we got the Klein Grinder we gave a 9 and a Corn beef hash we gave a 5. They forgot our bagel. Service was just okay. We were sat next to a table where the servers corrugated the whole time, it was entertaining to say the least. Go for the Klein Grinder I would definitely come back for it or make it at home. Restaurant was clean and looked great. Bathrooms need some attention.
We got a reservation for 8 and they had the perfect table for us. Friendly staff, cool vibe, great food.
Loved the ambience as well as the menu and quality of food. Even though they were very busy our server did a good job. This was our second visit and would definitely return. Good gluten free options was a huge plus due to allergies.
Outstanding server. Attentive, fun,
Asking for 50 charities is rediculous
It was great! matzo soup was fabulous and everything else was great. Perfect place for a date night!
Food was decent, service wasn’t great, for a Saturday night at 7 it was quite empty.
Not fond of new menu
We were there for Sunday brunch which was just amazing, everyone raved about what they had ordered. Will definitely be back!
Fun place Goid food. A bit noisy. Need some round tables for 8 people
Just what Columbus needed! Elevated Jewish comfort food. Everything we ate was delicious, get the latkes and the matzah ball soup! Also recommend the turkey Rachel and the Ruben dip
Great food, especially the matzo ball soup! It was almost like being in New York City (except without the travel and the attitude)!
So disappointed. Previous visits were great! The place was dead, aka no customers.
Brisket was dry, drinks were mediocre. They were delicious last time.
Seems to be in a slide.
always great with gluten free and amazing service
Very nice welcoming staff. Tasty food. I don’t eat that type of food a lot. Waitress was patient as me and my guest really needed to catch up.
A little taste of NYC here in the Midwest! Matzah ball soup, sandwiches galore and tasty entrees all made with care and very filling.
This restaurant has the best matzo ball soup. I have never had matzo balls that delicious. The corn beef was very lean with zero fat. Portions were very generous. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
Delish Knish! You will not be disappointed. Try the Ruben Dip with bagel chips, Smoked Whitefish Spread, Hummus, KNISH (get 2 orders!) yup! Great to share. A friendly spot for all kinds of people & all kinds of tastes. Fantastic attentive service. We will be back!
corn beef was bad and the potato pancakes wren bad
Great food and service. Highly recommend.
Great restaurant, food is excellent and service is always great.
Had a nice brunch/lunch.
LOVED the interior design and the awesome music. As usual, this CM restaurant did not disappoint. My only suggestion would be to use larger bread on the sandwiches so they are bigger and add coleslaw to the ruben, which would make it the bomb. It's good but that would be a great addition. The matzo ball soup has Katzinger's beat by a mile. It's flavorful, the matzo ball is delish and the broth has veggies and chicken in it plus the "cup" is a nice size...bigger than a normal cup of soup. We will be back here for sure.
I’ve come here with a girlfriend on a Saturday night at peak business and had very attentive service and great atmosphere. Tonight I came here with two guy friends and we had a super pleasant time.. not too loud and our server was great.
The ambiance was cool and the service was great. The food was lackluster and at the price point you would think more of it. Drinks were strong but drinkable but cannot confine I’ll ever return.
Our waitress was one of the worst waitresses I’ve ever had at a Cameron Mitchell restaurant. She was completely inattentive and seem to be bothered every time we asked for something.
The Sandwiches we both had were ok, i had the Ruben and it was just a Ruben, she had the Roast Beef and it didn't have any flavor..
Had a nice meal and Marisa was a great server. We hadn’t been before so we shared a knish, matzah ball soup, my wife had a tuna melt on an everything bagel. I tried the liver and onions. Everything was well prepared, the only issue really was the soup. It was way over salted. We took home a black and white cookie and the apple pie. Really good. We will be back. Some interesting things on the menu.
Great food, service and value!
Awesome host, awesome service, awesome atmosphere, and awesome food. All around a whole lot of awesome! I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes that both melted in my mouth. The salad was tossed perfect to have the dressing equal throughout.
