Harvester - The Rising Sun
Good good at a reasonable price . Staff very helpful
Lydia the waitress was very polite and helpful and the food was absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone with families and date nights or any occasions in that matter all well done in my opinion
Do not use OpenTable to book your reservation. I booked through Open Table for our party of 4, and received an email confirming. When we arrived at the Harverster they could not find any reservation, and the manager had to move tables around to fit us in.
In future I will contact the restaurant myself and not waste my time using Open Table.
first visit here in a while and it had definitely improved
Lovely food and service as always, will definately come again
We arrived and the booking, through open table, had apparently not gone through. I had the online receipt and the manager eventually sorted us a table out . The food overall was prett unimpressive. The salad was ok but not great. The crackerjack prawns were served in a plastic cup which gets zero points for presentation. The Half chicken and chips lacked meat on the chicken and was dry and the chips were very salty. It was served with a plastic tiny tub with a teaspoon of salad and I didn't even waste my time on it. The waitress was polite and efficient and although she did ask if we were happy we did not give an honest reply as we were treating my wife's sister and we felt embarrassed. They really need to try harder. We had eaten here a month or two earlier and had no problems
