   Really nice lady as waitress. Food nice and okay atmosphere. Just tad shame that burning food meant our area by the pass was smoky.

   Have used the Bulldog on several occasions but was somewhat disappointed on this visit, the service was slow and the food was not up to its usual standard. I have recommended the Bulldog to several friends in the past but will reserve judgement in the hope that my next visit will be back to normal standards.

   We booked the table on line to apparently save time waiting for a table only to be told the table was being prepared and could we go and sit in the bar to wait. When we were shown to our table we all remarked that the table was empty and clean when we first arrived. (Obviously a ploy to get you to buy drinks in the bar). After ordering our meal , we waited nearly 25 minutes to recieve it and when it came, the chips were less than lukewarm and the onion rings were cold and soggy. Mentioned this to the waitress and was told it was because they had been busy and was offered a refund on the onion rings. Overall a very poor experience.

   Loved the new layout and the decor very much more welcoming.
