Had a late lunch / business meeting at Harvest. Be careful using GPS or Google maps to get here-- it takes you to some unrelated place in Berwyn. Type in the Radnor Hotel and that will get you here. It took one of our guys an extra 25 minutes to arrive because he ended up in Berwyn. That's not the restaurant's fault, but you should know.

Anyway, service is excellent. Granted we were there between standard lunch and dinner times so we would expert nothing less. The food is delicious though the menu is a bit limited.

We love the menu, always creative and tasty. Sometimes the portions are small compared to the price, even if (we think) the ingredient prices should not be expensive. We thought Friday night was louder than usual... or perhaps everyone was just talking loud near us. Not many things to absorb sound; rug seemed thin... but it was hard to hear everyone at our four-person table.

Had to wait 20min after reservation to be seated, another 15min for the server to come to the table. Liquor was watered down, food came out cold and too salty to eat. Returned the entire meal.

Harvest hosts always seem to struggle during busy times.and this visit was no exception. We reserved a high-top by the bar. We got to the restaurant 10 minutes early. There were plenty of available high tops & we weren't seated because they were seating people who had reservations for a half an hour before. Why were not they already seated with their odors taken when there were empty seats??

Poor service none of the entrees were worth discussing. My meal was the pork chop dry and salty. Poor communication between servers and wait staff. Asked for a beverage with my meal when ordering. It did not arrive until I was more than 75% finished. Will not return Only positive was the decor.

Strengths:
Atmosphere, decor.
Love that you offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options.

Weaknesses:
$21 for a vegetable bowl with chicken is too high. (Other places sell this for $9) Meeting in the middle would be more reasonable.
The server was too casual - in how she presented herself and how she spoke with us. Didn't fit the ambiance of the restaurant. I'm sure she has it in her, so I would invite her to bring her service up to the next level. She will probably delight her customers and take pride in the way she carries and presents herself. (let alone make better tips) .....I say go get 'em!

We have been several times and experience was not great and this time it was really good. The food has improved. Maybe they have a new chef? For the first time since they opened I can actually highly recommend the place to friends!

Thoroughly enjoyed restaurant week prices. Paying $20 for Soup, sandwich and a dessert, was fantastic, and everything especially the Butternut Squash soup, outstanding. Our server, I believe it was Becca, was delightful & friendly. Keep up the good work. Thank you,

We enjoyed the dimmer, more romantic ambiance and the delicious meal. The menu was creative. We Loved the free valet, especially on a cold night. Our server Ryan was very upbeat, and knowledgeable of the season’s menu. We had a very nice time.

The food is very good but 6$ glass of orange iced tea is a bit high. I understand the farm to table idea and I really enjoy the seasonal menu but drink cost are too high.

The pear and fig flatbread was delicious as always and the squash soup was excellent - not to sweet, creamy yet light. They had halibut as a Christmas Eve special but they ran out while waiting for our food. I switched and ordered Chilean sea bass which was superb. My only note is it was served on a cold bed of green pesto-like couscous. While the grains were delicious, I wish they were warm like the sea bass. I always look forward to their small “flight” desserts. We had peanut butter chocolate which was good and butterscotch, which was awful. I ordered two white sangrias and they were very good - Harvest has a terrific drink menu albeit a bit overpriced.

We had a great experience, the food was excellent and the kids liked “how fancy” the restaurant was.
We will be going back soon. :-)

One of our go to places. Drinks so-so. Entree’s good. A couple tasty dessert choices, espresso & cappuccino and we were ready to face the obnoxiously cold weather that fell upon us.
