Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar – Glen Mills
Dinner at Harvest tonight was AMAZING as always!! It was packed tonight! Ellen, our waitress, was sweet and friendly. For drinks, Mom and I had water, and Dad had an iced tea. For appetizers, Dad and I both ordered a cup of the Butternut Squash Soup, our favorite! We got it with honey and roasted pumpkin seeds on the side. It's the best soup in the world! For the main course, Mom had the Warm Butternut Squash Dip, which had butternut squash, Asiago cheese, caramelized onions, sage, crispy kale, and pumpkin seeds, with marble rye bread for dipping. Dad ordered the Impossible Meatloaf. It is a vegan dish, and it was served with a celery root purée, a sweet and spicy ketchup glaze on top, roasted sweet potatoes, and an haricot vert. I ordered my all time favorite, the Beef Sliders with cheddar cheese and caramelized onions, served on brioche buns, and a side of the Award-Winning Mac and Cheese! Delicious as always! For dessert, I had the Chocolate Salted Caramel Mousse with no salt, my favorite dessert!! R.J. and Lauren came by to our table to see how our food was and to say hello like always. We always enjoy coming here! Looking forward to seeing you again soon, Harvest family!
Menu was great, had a vegan and three “carnivores” and we all had many choices.
The service was the slowest we have had in a number of visits to Harvest. Had we been on a schedule, we would have been late. Asked for separate checks, and it came together. She was pleasant, just slow.
Wonderful GF options.
Love the fall menu! Definitely will be back to try other entrees.
Good service and good food. Nice ambiance.
The food was good
Good food, nice atmosphere, great service!!! Will absolutely visit again. Little pricey for this type of restaurant but not outrageous. The overall experience justifies the slightly elevated prices.

It was our first time at Harvest and it was wonderful. Our server Catherine was very helpful and answered all our questions about the menu. The pear & blue cheese flatbread was great! Out entrees were also quite delicious! We will definitely be back when in the area again!
Dinner tonight at Harvest was AMAZING! Our waitress, Ellen, was sweet, energetic, helpful, and fun to talk with! For an appetizer, Dad ordered a cup of the Butternut Squash Soup, which is always one of our favorites. He ordered it with the honey and toasted pumpkin seeds on the side. It is always delicious! For the main course, Dad ordered one of the specials tonight, which was grilled swordfish, served with vegetables, and jasmine rice. It was cooked perfectly by Mya, the line cook, who did an AMAZING job!! He really enjoyed it. Mom ordered the Cider-Brined Bone-In Duroc Pork Chop, which is always her favorite! It was served with a winter squash risotto, an apple celery slaw, a smokey tamarind-tomato jam, and an haricot vert. I ordered the Harvest Turkey Chill, my all time favorite! It has turkey, cannellini, kidney, and black beans, smoked cheddar cheese, sour cream, and scallions. I always take some home to eat the next day. I HIGHLY recommend it to everybody!! For dessert, Mom had a Banana Cake, which she really enjoyed. I had the Chocolate Salted Caramel Mousse with no salt, my favorite! R.J, the assistant manager, came by to our table several times to see how our food was and to chat with us. He is always the highlight of our visits, and knows how to make us laugh and put a smile on our faces. We love him to pieces! Thanks again for another great meal, Harvest. Looking forward to next time!
Love this place! Great new vegan/fall menu (thank you!) with so many more options than other restaurants. Try to get there at least once a week. Craving next weeks meal already!
Good food as always and pleasant service!
I can't say enough about Harvest. We go at least 2 -3 times each year and are never disappointed in the food, service, wait time or atmosphere.
Loved the new fall menu. Always a great day night and such different delicious veggie options.
Carolyn was great. Her knowledge of the menu was excellent.
Do not order the dine made for Harvest. I think it was called a Chance. Not good, but we were warned.
Scallops were very good, but would have liked more veggies. Too much risotto.
Cauliflower wings were yummy.
The Fall menu is a favorite. Great items. Blake was exceptional as our server; we have some special food needs/allergies, and he communicated them perfectly to the kitchen.
He provided excellent descriptions of the food items and was attentive but not hovering.
I love this restaurant. It has an exceptional menu, and that includes wonderful selections for those with a plant-based diet. It's a little pricey, but worth it.
Lived Your special GF options. So pleased the peanut butter desert is back!!!!!
Went for an anniversary dinner. Outstanding menu. Had hard time picking. We started with the sangria and beer flights in order to narrow down drink selection. Had the charcuterie tray which was great. Then I had the filet and hubby had chicken. Easy dessert process. Susan was our waitress and was attentive without overdoing it. Perfect evening.
Great meal. Great menu choices!
Harvest was very busy Saturday evening. Zack, our server, handled everything with a smile and RJ
stepped in to help out with whatever was needed. The food was delicious as usual. Thanks so much!!!
LOVE Harvest! New menu is excellent. Love that they kept a lime citrus dressing!
Dinner at Harvest was AWESOME tonight! It was crowded, but a nice night to eat outside. Mom and I has a girls day/night out of seeing Downton Abbey the movie, and then eating dinner here afterwards! We tried the new Fall Menu and we LOVE it!! For an appetizer, we got the Vegan Plant-Based Spicy "Chorizo" Flatbread. It has vegan sausage, bell peppers, kalamata olives, micro basil, and vegan mozzarella cheese. Mom really enjoyed it. For the main course, Mom ordered the Cider-Brined Bone-in Duroc Pork Chop. It was cooked perfectly, and was served with a winter squash risotto, apple celery slaw, smokey tamarind tomato jam, and an Haricot Vert. It's always her favorite!! I ordered the Braised Short Ribs, which were cooked to perfection and were served with roasted seasonal root vegetables, Brussels sprouts, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, natural jus, and black lava salt. It was really good! For dessert, I had the Chocolate Salted Caramel Mousse with no salt, my favorite! Mom had a banana pudding dessert, which she enjoyed. Blake and Alyssa both served us, they were wonderful as always!! R.J., Greg, Lauren, and Steve all came out to say hello and to see how our food was! Thanks for another great meal Harvest family, see you again soon!
Service is always good and menu changes with season which is nice. Our food was fresh and the wait, not too bad as it is always packed!
We have been eating at Harvest since they opened. Consistency defines the dining there. It us always excellent and service is almost always outstanding. It certainly was on our last visit.
The food is fresh, seasonal and delsih. This is a favorite spot for happy hour or a nice dinner with friends. The wine list is impressive as is the draft beer selection for my hubby. The service is excellent, I never wait for a table, it is ready when expected per my reservation time. Love the soft lighting and relaxed feeling despite the number of tables in the restaurant section. the bar is expectedly busy. I would only say the price on a few dishes is a bit high.
like food. and servers are always great but kitchen is always sloooooww
Great food and excellent outdoor dining area. We brought our dog and we're very happy to see how dog friendly they are. Service was a little slow but otherwise it was a great first visit!
Dinner was fabulous tonight! Our waitress, Tara, was sweet and very friendly! For an appetizer, we ordered the Jerk Chicken Flatbread with chicken, Jamaican jerk sauce, roasted poblano and bell peppers, and mild cheddar cheese. It was gone in seconds!!! For the main course, Mom had her favorite, the Jamaican Jerk Salmon Entrée Salad, with no corn and black bean salsa. It has baby mixed greens, avocados, mango, almonds, toasted coconut, papaya, and is served with a mango vinaigrette dressing. Mom had extra dressing on the side. Dad and I had the Beef Sliders with cooked onions and cheddar cheese, served on a brioche bun. Dad has his sliders with a side of Un-Fried Fries, and I had mine with a side of the Award-winning Mac and Cheese, which is always delicious! For dessert, I ordered the Chocolate Salted Caramel Mousse with no salt. We decided to eat outside today, because it was such a nice day! RJ, Steve, and Chef Scott came by to say hello and to see how our food was. It's always fun to see them! Thanks again for another great meal Harvest! See you soon!
The food was good. We had the burger and salmon. Both good, but could have been more food for the price. My burger was well-done instead of medium well, but still decent. The desserts were good. The waitress was very nice, but I wish she would visit the table more. Overall it was good.
This is no longer a good place for date night. They have added a children's menu, and there are a lot of young families. It seems odd to me for a wine bar that serves farm-to-table, chef-created meals to be the place for the preschool and school-age crowd, but I am assured that such confusion is anti-millennial and un-American. Also, I have been informed that I should just stay home if I would like to have a meal without screaming toddlers in the background.
So, I shall.
Birthday celebration! We eat at Harvest often and love it. But this visit one of the dinners was not good. Lobster salad tasted awful, the lobster had turned. I’m from New England and know my lobster so I tried it as well ( was not my main) and indeed it was bad. Told server at end so she could let cook know, we didn’t want anything else for main, but she did comp our 2 desserts which was nice. Just hope they dumped that lobster meat!
Fine, as always. This is a neighborhood place for us. We come here often. Very enjoyable.
I ordered scallops with a side of French fries and was disappointed in the small size of the scallops and the mushiness of the fries.
Everyone else in our group of four enjoyed their meals.
Dinner was good at Harvest tonight! Mom and I had a girls night out dinner here and it was good. For an appetizer, we got the Jerk Chicken Flatbread, our favorite! It's going to be off the menu in two weeks, so get it before it's gone! It has chicken, Jamaican jerk sauce, roasted poblano and bell peppers, and mild cheddar cheese. It's not too spicy, it's yummy! For the main course, Mom got the Jamaican Jerk Salmon Entrée Salad without the corn and black bean salsa. It had baby mixed greens, avocados, almonds, toasted coconut, mango, papayas, and was served with a mango vinaigrette dressing. The salmon was cooked perfectly! She really enjoyed it! I ordered the beef sliders with cheddar cheese and cooked onions, and a side of the Award-winning Mac and Cheese which is to die for, as always! Lauren and R.J. came by to our table to say hello and to see how our food was! We are looking forward to trying the Fall Menu soon! Thanks Harvest Glen Mills family! We'll be back soon!
Delicious and healthy food along with great service.
Food was ok. Steak was over cooked but the server was taking a survey and did nothing. Why ask if you don’t action.
Waiter was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. Food was ok, nothing special, and felt like the portions were too small for the price.
Though pricey, the food is excellent, the service top notch, the menu very high quality, excellent place. I mentioned to my wife just the other night, though it's pricey, Harvest Grill is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant.
Let me start with Harvest is one of our favorite places to dine in the area. Normally, the food is great and service is attentive, however this past Friday we stopped in for an early dinner (~5:00pm) and the service was very poor. Our waiter would disappear for large quantities of time and our food was over cooked. I hope this isn't going to be the new standard for the restaurant.
