   This was our second time dining at Haru and it was 15/10. No notes. Chef's tasting selections were fabulous and thoughtfully selected. We always select the counter option because we love talking to Chef about his thought process and getting his take on add-ons. We were able to try new fish we had never even heard of and had truly the best fourth course ever, including a comped piece of nigiri because we couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was the first time we visited. We can't wait to visit again when the menu changes (~ever 6 weeks).

   Had a mixed experience at HARU. We did the premium tour and added the standard wine pairing (4 pairings for $45). The food was excellent- freshness, flavor combinations, and presentation was all wonderful. We really enjoyed every bite! The service did leave some to be desired. Our server was very nice, but not very knowledgeable about the courses. She would advise which fish was which, and the name of the wine, but thats about all. We overheard some of the other servers and the chefs themselves going into great detail about each item, discussing each ingredient and flavor combination, which we would have loved to experience as part of the meal. Finally, I would not recommend the wine pairing. The pours were literally 1-2 sips each. The full bottles of each wine were almost all priced below $40. But the pairing for $45 was probably equivalent of one glass in total. I'm not sure if our server was just very light on the pours or if this was expected, but the value of the wine pairing just wasn't there. Overall, we spent >$450 for two and while the food itself was wonderful, the experience and service didnt quite match what I'd expect for the price.

   Best restaurant experience in Columbus. Hands down. The menu is perfect. The drink pairings are perfect. I intend to go back each and every time the menu is changed.

   Have been to Omakase before in NYC. Cost was twice as much in Columbus ($140 per person plus tip) than NYC ($68 per person NO TIPPING ALLOWED). Food was good but definitely not worth the price. Service was not great. And the experience lacked true Omakase feel which is usually more intimate and one-on-one with the chef, rather than just tables being served sushi.

   Food was incredible. Every single bite perfect. Definitely a splurge but will absolutely be back.

   Second time getting omakase here and both visits were great! Pricey, but absolutely delicious and highest quality.

   Our second visit to Haru was as great if not better than the first. Everything is beautifully presented and the flavors and textures are excellent. It would be difficult to pick a favorite dish..fatty tuna was excellent as was the special barracuda. I’m looking forward to the late spring/ summer choices when the menu changes!

    Such a unique experience and so lucky ti have it here in Columbus. Everyone is so knowledge about all of the courses and the wine and sake pairings. They rotate their menu every 6 weeks and we left with our next reservation already set for 6 weeks out it was that good! Highly recommend sitting at the bar if available
