Harry's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Took my wife to Harry's for an early St. Valentines Day Dinner as I was going to be out of town on the 14th. We both had the Mahi Mahi and is was superb.....I had the crab cakes as an apetizer, and the presentation was remarkable but the flavor of the crab cakes even out did the presentation, my wife had the tomato soup one of her favorites.....it was a wonderful evening and the staff was terrific as always.....can not find a better place in Manhattan for a special dinner...
Harry's is the best place to eat in Manhattan, if you want something in the way of a nice restaurant. Food is solid, though not very ambitious or creative, and you'll love the midwest sized portions (after you loosen your belt). I'm a big fan of the place. Our server was delightful, but disconcerting when she asked what type of dressing I'd like on a wedge salad...Still no cappuccino or espresso for dessert, but otherwise, great spot for a nice meal.
We met a couple that we have known for thirty years who had come to Manhattan to attend K-State basketball game with us.....so we decided to meet at Harry's and have dinner before the game.....the dinner was perfect, the ladies order fish and the gentlemen had Braveheart Filets.....a good time was had by all and we will do this again!! When in Manhattan you have to go to Harry's if you want the best dinner experience in town....hands down no questions asked....
We were placed in a corner booth and there was absolutely no light to see the menu. We had to take out our phones and click on the flashflight to be able to read the menu. It was very frustrating . We had to do this when our food arrived as well, so we could see what we were eating. There needs to be a light placed on the wall or something. I would refuse to sit there again if I ever return. It was the worst place I've ever sat before in any restaurant.
While we were visiting K-State we wanted a great steak. Harrys was recommended and it was fantastic. Wonderful service from James, the atmosphere and exquisite food, it was a perfect evening. If we are back in the area again we will definitely visit Harry’s.
Absolutely wonderful food and service. Perfect for anniversaries, fine dining dates, and wonderful scenery. The architecture of the building itself was awesome. My only concern was where we sat, the seating was starting to rip/tear. Once seated, I did not notice. The most amazing food I have ever eaten. Well played, Harry's, well played, indeed!
The food at Harry's is exceptional both in presentation and taste. We started with the Charcuterie board, I had the Halibut and my son had the petit filet for our entrees. For dessert, we shared the baked Alaska. It was new Year's Eve, the restaurant was fully booked but the service was still fantastic. We did not feel rushed and felt very well taken care of.
I would absolutely recommend this restaurant!!
Always a great time! Yes it is expensive, but it is such a wonderful place to celebrate an anniversary! The server was fantastic and was there when we needed her. She made our anniversary fun and we were able to enjoy each other and not worry about anything.
We were in town visiting our daughter at College and wanted to take her out some where special for dinner. Harry's was exceptional in every way. My husband and daughter had the filet's and they were cooked perfect. My other daughter and I got Halibut and it was excellent! We all shared dessert the creme brûlée, peanut butter cake and apple cake, so many choices they were all delicious!
The wait staff was very nice and knowledgeable and the wine suggestion was on point too.
Would recommend for any special occasion and can't wait to go back when we are in town again.
