Harry's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We were in town visiting our daughter at College and wanted to take her out some where special for dinner. Harry's was exceptional in every way. My husband and daughter had the filet's and they were cooked perfect. My other daughter and I got Halibut and it was excellent! We all shared dessert the creme brûlée, peanut butter cake and apple cake, so many choices they were all delicious!
The wait staff was very nice and knowledgeable and the wine suggestion was on point too.
Would recommend for any special occasion and can't wait to go back when we are in town again.
I've always had a great experience going here in the past. This experience was a little less than perfect but the staff made up for it.I had ordered my steak medium and it kept coming out rare,I had sent it back twice and every time I cut into it the cook was inconsistent. One side would be medium and the other side would be rare.I felt bad sending it back, and the third time the steak came out I decided to eat it even though spots were closer to rare because my table was done eating. The steak tasted delicious and my food was hot.The rest of my table received pretty warm food but not hot like the last steak I had recieved. The manager came over and let me know that they would take my steak off the bill due to the wait and I really appreciated it.We had a great waiter that took care of our needs. The peanut butter cake was a great way to end the evening.
Our reservations was for four people....it was is birthday party dinner.....ordered the egg rolls....Harry's Iceberg Wedge Salad....Filet Mignon Royale.....everything was amazing, I took part of the Filet home, so I could have a desert.....which was the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake....amazing evening and I wouldn't change a thing....the Braveheart meat that is served is just crazy tender and the flavor is what all steaks try to be, but this is some serious melt in your mouth full flavored beef.....have never had anything like it....we will be back to Harry's!!
Second time to eat with my daughter at Harry's. The first visit was my choice and this time it was her request. We were not disappointed w 2
Delicious small plates to start followed by prime rib and salmon, capped with an excellent wine choice by the sommelier.
This is one of the finest restaurants in the Midwest, or beyond! The food is always wonderful and the service impeccable. There are so many wonderful menu items - the prime rib on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is my favorite. I highly, highly recommend Harry’s as a dining destination site. Some might view it as a bit pricey, so be prepared for what may be a higher than usual tab but it’s worth it for special occasions.
great as usual. It was my wife's 62 birthday. Prime rib excellent. Then we received a surprise visit by the KSU marching band, played several songs. Great evening. Harrys is where our celebrations are booked. wonderful food, amazing service. Thank You, Joe and Jamie Svoboda
Steaks are excellent, flavorful & tender ... cooked to perfection. Superb service ... whether you are in town for a game or passing through on I70 headed for the slopes ... it's worth the very short detour into downtown Manhattan Kansas ... oh and did I mention their very well stocked bar. A real gem nestled in the beautiful Flint Hills.
We frequent Harry's every chance we get when we are in town, and the food is usually phenomenal. Our favorite appetizer is the smoked chicken pizza. We split the filet over roasted garlic chèvre potatoes. Unfortunately, the steak was a little dry, as were the potatoes. For as many times as we have been there, this was a first. We progressed to desert and ordered the chocolate chip cheesecake, which melted in your mouth.
We will definitely return, and hope for a better entree to brag about next time.
We love Harry's! The old world hotel vibe is perfect for a night on the town! Previously when we had a bottle of win, they airated it by decanting it; but this time time they didn't do it; we hope they continue the tradition! Anyone looking for a wonderful time and great food should dine here!
