Harry's on the Green
The “Beer Wall” features 17 craft beers. The wine cabinet holds a good cross section of wines. Dynamic cocktails are our bartender Dolly's preoccupation. Be sure to check out her "Cocktail Wall”. The driest martini on the shore can be had at Harry's.
Will definitely be back. Celebrating a special birthday was perfect at Harry’s! Food was delicious. Whole experience was delightful!
As is every meal at Harry's, everything is top notch! Harry's has become our go-to restaurant!
Great food, people and service!
We do not go to Harry's often but we always enjoy it when we go. The food is excellent and the staff is very welcoming.
Amazing on all accounts.
Excellent dining experience
This is probably the nicest place in Denton but we were crammed in a small room with too many tables. They had an empty room that they waited to fill one before seating the other. This did not make sense because there was no room to even move your chair and made everything really noisy. The food was good although the pot pie was not cooked all they way. I hate the no substitution rule.
Love the food. Love the setting. The only issue we have with the restaurant is the close proximity of the tables. We felt uncomfortable having a private conversation when another couple were literally a couple of feet to the right of us. We also didn’t really need to hear what the other couples were talking about.
Food and service was great however the tables were situated way too close together. It was difficult to carry on a conversation without the party next to you hearing it and vice-versa.
We are going back ASAP!
Great night with many Gluten Free options, including crab/shrimp dish not on the menu. Enjoyed too much desert and the pear salad was wonderful, as usual.
Happy hour with small plates in the bar area are recommended🍸 Spicy shrimp -goat cheese pizza👍 the best ever! We love the ambiance and the patio is supercozy in the summer time
Very nice decor throughout. Small but cozy bar area where you can relax while waiting to be seated. Very friendly staff. Excellent waitress who was very helpful with menu choices. Food was very good. Noise level was a little annoying; but it was New Years Eve and some of the patrons got an early start to the evening. Have visited this restaurant during the spring/summer months for dinner and the outside seating on the porch is very relaxing and enjoyable.
This restaurant is a gem. The food is wonder and the service is excellent!
Always a great place to dine!
Harry's food and atmosphere never disappoints. We go all the year through but really enjoy spending Christmas Eve at Harry's. The staff is excellent and the food is even better.
We celebrated our mom’s 91st birthday at Harry’s and had a perfect night. From the moment Harry greeted her as we checked in, throughout the evening, everything was perfect—service, food, ambiance, atmosphere—it was an amazing evening. You can’t go wrong there—thanks, Harry!
Great atmosphere, food and staff.
Harry's charges fine-dining prices for an experience that is anything but fine-dining. Our service was poor and our food was average. If you are looking at the on-line menu, add $1-$3 to each item for the current prices. I was considering taking out-of-town friends to dinner next week and have changed my mind, going somewhere else.
Great variety on the menu - the veggie sides were delicious - will be back!
Excellent service. Menu is unique but has something for everyone.
Delicious food everytime. Great service. Worth the ride. Knowledgeable wait staff.
Food was superb. Bathroom was very clean. Seating was cumbersome and tight. Windows were drafty. Ran out of certain desserts early. Restaurant overall needs thoroughly cleaned. Drapes would help with noise level. Not a place to go for a nice quiet meal. However if you want delicious food....this is the place!
First time and we loved it! The Chicken Chesapeake was the best I've ever had! Great martinis and the staff was dressed up for Halloween and the restaurant was festively decorated! Can't wait to come again.
Outstanding from beginning to end. From service to food A+++ Highly recommend
Great Place Loved the Food Great Service Nice People
Great food. Wonderful staff. Nice ambiance. Well worth the drive if you’re not from Denton.
Menu has original, unique items. Service was excellent and food likewise.
No weak points in the entire evening.
Great Meal. Truly outstanding. You can see the effort and care put into all of their dishes. Delicious.
Harry’s participates in Denton’s Third Thursday. Three course meal with wine pairings. A different theme each month. Delicious!
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary this past weekend in Denton, MD. We ate dinner at Harry’s on Saturday night and the food was phenomenal!
It was our first trip and we felt like we had discovered gold. With a break in the weather we opted to eat on the porch - we had an intimate corner - perfect for talking and being heard. The menu offered great variety, our group ordered beef tenderloin, lamb, a pasta and a seafood platter. All we cooked and presented beautifully. We shared deserts and these were also a delight. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely be back.
One of the best burgers I’ve had here with my buddies. We came back a second time and brought our spouses. We shared appetizers and got burgers, everyone loved them.
We Drove from Washington DC and I have good friends drove in from Delaware. Celebrating our birthdays and we chose an outstanding place. The service was excellent and the food was right on. We decided to create a Tapas like menus by choosing a number of outstanding appetizers. If it wasn’t for the Delaware Memorial Bridge I would travel more often to this gem.
We had a poor first experience. Very new waitress who knew little about the menu. All of our food apps included came out at the same time and was overall poor. The shrimp pizza on a prefab shell, watery cream of crab, broken sauce so cheese and butter separated on another dish... took our burger home because it came w appetizer as the meal. The food packed to take home included someone else’s food.
Have become a regular at Harry's and now introducing our friends from Kent Island as well. We had a party of 6 this time (my 5th dinner at Harry's this year) and everyone raved about the food and wine.
One suggestion would be to list some good and affordable white (chardonnay) and red wines (cabs) on the list. though we enjoyed both the B erring Chardonnay was pretty pricy. The red Kunde was very good and reasonably priced.
The food was outstanding and reasonable priced. We had excellent service and will definitely dine at Harry's on the Green again. The only thing I did not care for were the six store bought crackers with something to spread on them. A few warm rolls with butter would be much more appropriate considering the excellence of our meal.
The whole dining experience was fabulous! We got a very warm greeting by Ted upon entering, Amy, our waitstaff, was very friendly and extremely accommodating. My martini was excellent, just the way I like it (I'm very particular) and Ted appeared again to help make recommendations when Amy was telling us the specials.
I had the Seafood Stew which was probably the best entrée I've had in ages. My, husband, Stickley a hamburger and fries man, was equally enthusiast about his chargrilled burger and unfortetable fries. Dessert was also incredable, we had the ice cream puff with gobs of delicious chocolate flowing down its sides.
The whole evening was wonderful made even more so by Ted and Amy.
We'll be back again soon.
wonderful menu and specials selection. the wine list could be a bit more expansive but they had many local beers on tap. the food was excellent!
Sat out side and the food and service were very good as always but the flies were disgusting. One landed in my doing and they were all over the food. I know they can't control them and I would go back again but in all likelyhood sit inside.
