   Overall, it's very expensive to have drinks and / or a meal. It's a bustling place if you like that kind of atmosphere. I went during lunch, and they had a limited menu. It was 35 Euros just for a cocktail and 4 pieces of finger sandwiches. I also went for dinner, thinking it would be better. I was seated in the bar section instead of the dining room upstairs. I inquired and was told this is the only seat. Well, the food, in my opinion, was not better than lunch, mediocre at best. And of course, it was very expensive. Also, the tables were very close to each other, and with all the people both dining and at the bar, the room got extremely warm, which made dining very unpleasant. I couldn't wait to get out of there into the fresh ajr. The night before, I ate at the restaurant just acoss from Harry's Bar, which was much nicer. It was on a terrace overlooking the grand canal, the food was superb, and the service was outstanding. Overall, I think this Harry's Bar in Venice is overrated, in my opinion.

   Food was excellent. Waiter was friendly and helpful. Got a table earlier than we booked.👍 Really worth to visit😎

   Harry’s Bar is an institution. The food was both very good and quite expensive. It is an experience I’ll do once.

   Too much expensive with respect to quality of food, very poor. Fortunately the dish was plentiful, it was enough for two People. In the bar there were many People in a small place so there were no privacy. Even though Waiters have been much polite and welcoming, i was very disappointed so i will not return and i not suggest such experience.

   While vacationing in Italy, we decided to treat ourselves to a fancy lunch at Harry’s with 2 other couples. It was most disappointing. I ordered the salad nicoise which had no potatoes and very little tuna. It certainly wasn’t worth the cost. Others had the club sandwich, which was floating in mayonnaise. Awful! The fries were similar to the ones you get at McDonald’s. The croissant they served was delicious, but unfortunately the rest of the meal was most disappointing.

   Accoglienza buona, servizio attento e cordiale, cibo molto buono e abbondante. Rumore ambientale un po’ troppo elevato.

    It is always interesting to examine the aggregate scores of reviews from OpenTable, Yelp, and TripAdvisor. However, those scores do not always accurately reflect the true nature of a business. I've read the mixed reviews for Harry's, but I have to say this is truly one of the Iconic special occasion experiences to be had in Venice - both historically and in terms of the overall ambiance. Yes, there are more opulent appearing restaurants, and ones where food and value proposition may be more compelling, but Harry's is a unique and special place. Not only because Ernest Hemingway drank there and wrote there, but because you can be part of a confluence of well-heeled tourists and Venetian society. It is an exciting and dynamic experience unlike any other in Venice. They don't cite a dress code, but you see people dressed with a sense that they are going to be observed by the other guests! It makes for an exciting fashion show. The manager's sure-footed nature, the staff's eagerness to please, and the hospitality of the Cipriani family are not to be missed.
