The food is always great here. We stopped in for a quick Happy Hour - excellent wine choices and the burgers were delicious! Carla is always an excellent server - knows the menu well and always has great recommendations. Truly a neighborhood gem!
Great food but service and cost for wine is a bit much. Cheapest bottle of Pinot was $56
My family and I are here often because of its’ location and consistent menu. Their poke’ bowl and steak salad are the best in the industry, period. The drink are inconsistent and often quite weak. The service is either OK or great. Everyone there is incredibly polite and professional, but at times, I wish some of the staff was more attentive. Again, it’s all in who you get. Overall, we love it here and will continue to come back for the poke’, steak, and hopefully stronger drinks.
Good food. Good beer and cocktail program. Disappointing wine program. Very reminiscent of corporate wine programs peddling poorly rated labels for 3x markups. Bring your own until they change this aspect of their program to match the quality of the other offerings. Quality issue not a cost issue. Highly manageable. Hope this changes. Lively environment borderline loud with a crowd. Nice place.
Thank you for providing us with a fun evening with friends. Alex was a wonderful server.
We really enjoyed ourselves dining at Harry & Eddie's on Friday! The food definitely exceeded my expectations!
I’ve been there several times and unfortunately this time the food that was served was not that good. The sandwich was warm not hot, the fries were cold and the desert had no taste.
I was disappointed in the overall experience.
Great food, great drinks, great service. A fun place! Servers are very attentive and knowledgeable.
Thank you for being deliciously consistent! What a fun way to celebrate NYE with family! Service and overall hospitality were excellent. We’ll be back again to support your success!
New Years Eve lunch
Very pleasant evening in charming restaurant. We loved our meals! Service was very nice! Thank you
Very nice restaurant. Food was very good and good service.
Food was excellent. I had the lamb gnocchi and it was outstanding. My table mates loved the salmon. We had children with us, and they had their go-to rice / Quinoa bowls and were very happy. Family friendly, with a noise level that allows for conversation.
We enjoyed a fantastic Christmas Eve meal at Harrie and Eddies! The staff was very accommodating and ensured that our needs were well met.
Service was incredible as were all of the entrees and appetizers that we ordered.
I recommend the egg plant parmigiana and the short rib stroganoff.
Excellent cocktail, wine and beer menu as well.
Always fresh great food and service. Love how the drinks
And some of the food changes seasonally.
A wonderful experience! Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food! This was our second time here and plan on going back in the future!!
We love Harry & Eddies. Front of restaurant was quite loud, I have hearing issues and asked for a quieter spot. They were very quick and happy to accommodate. After that conversation was much riskier. Food was great, recommended wine choice was also very good. Definitely coming back
We had a wonderful experience at Harry & Eddies for our group of 11. We had our own secluded area which worked great for the young kids in our group (and their parents). The food is always very good here with generous portions. Service was friendly and efficient. A number of our party needed to be done and out to get to a show. The restaurant staff accommodated them wonderfully by making sure our food was served quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant the next time you are in the Hinsdale area.
Food was good. Server was inattentive and we felt rushed. I brought my friend for the first time and she would not go back.
This was my first time here. I didn’t know what to expect. It was really great from start to finish. First, it is gorgeous inside yet still very comfortable. Second, the food was delicious! I had the Salmon salad, another at our table had the Cobb salad, and two had the filet medallions. We all licked our plates clean! I love a good salad and it did not disappoint. We all commented how the salmon fillet on the top of my salad was really a full entree’s worth and the salad itself was huge! The meat eaters said the best part of the entrees was the surprise tomato underneath the filet. Drinks were good, and we did not have dessert. I found it to be on the pricier side, especially the drinks, but well worth it for what we had. Service was fine- they didn’t go above and beyond, but nothing negative to note. As a get together with friends, they perhaps thought we preferred to be left alone. I would definitely return for another meal!
Fabulous! Food was delicious! Wait staff was great!
Wonderful from beginning to end! Excellent service and creative/delicious flavor combinations to every app, meal, and dessert we tried!
This was my first time at Harry & Eddie’s and I had a wonderful experience. The Tuna Poke was just as delicious as the Poke in Hawaii. Service was attentive but not over bearing. Being a Saturday afternoon I did not notice the noise to be bothersome. But I can see how it would be noisy in the evening.
Great food and good service but the restaurant was far too bright for 8pm on a Saturday night. We were expecting a romantic dinning experience but it's hard to get that when the restaurant is lit up light a highschool cafeteria. I even asked politely if the manager could dim the lights a little bit but the lights never got dimmed. Definitely not recommended if you are looking for a romantic dinning experience.
Lovely except it was so cold temperature wise that we kept our coats on
Seemed to be understaffed. Stood at host stand for 5 minutes with no acknowledgment. Went to bar to wait and then saw bartender go to greet other patrons who had walked in. Eventually asked server to be seated.
No matter the season, the food is always outstanding! Service is consistently great - prompt, friendly, helpful with food selection. My husband and friends love Harry & Eddie’s!
Got seated right away, our waitress was excellent, and the food was excellent.
Overall a wonderful experience
What a beautiful venue! Service was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious! The blackened fish open face sandwich was very good!
The only thing they need to address is sins little gnats flying around.
Super nice staff.
We love this place for brunch and lunch but were afraid to try it for dinner given all the comments about noise. Our Saturday night experience proved that it’s a decent option even on a Saturday night. It was more crowded and noisy but we didn’t find the noise excessive...just sounded like any other place on Saturday night.
This was the first time we tried Harry & Eddie’s. Loved the menu. My lamb chops were so good and the presentation was just perfect. My husband had the mushroom pasta which was to “die for”, pasta that was shaped like little purses. First time I had ever seen that. Just wish it was closer to our home because it would be our “go to” restaurant for sure.
Food amazing but don’t plan on any intimate conversation, that place is loud!
Nice upscale restaurant in the midst of the burbs. Not overcrowded. We’re able to cater to wheat allergy and food was superb!
Good food. Good service
always a pleasant experience for a quiet meal in the neighborhood.
Service was very good. We both enjoyed our meals. Can’t truly comment on the noise level because it was the night of the local high school Homecoming dance and the place was full of excited teenagers dressed up and out for their pre-dance dinner. The staff seemed to be very kind and efficient with the kids, which speaks well for the staff’s ability to graciously handle a crazy rush. The kitchen seemed to also handle it well.
A bit lacking tonight - food was not flavorful, service was slow, pretty basic unfortunately - as we used to love this place.
Enjoyable evening with friends. Interesting menu assortment. Something for everyone. As the evening progressed, the noise level grew and one needed to shout to be heard.
We love Sunday brunch at Harry & Eddie's. The Steak and Eggs Benedict is outstanding. This time we also tried the Salmon Square Meal and it was excellent. Service is consistently good.
