In our lounge we have live jazz nightly.

Honestly.... I wish I could give more stars for certain things. This place's a gem. I wasn't expecting a what we walked into. I dont know why, but I just wasn't. When you walk in, you walk into the elegance of another time. The service from the second you pull up to valet and walk in is something that I had thought was gone years ago Everyone was friendly and helpful, yet so professional. Once we sat down it just got better. The food was amazing and I only wish we could have experienced dessert, but we finished ALL of our dinner and were so completely satisfied we didnt want to overdue it. If you get a chance, I HIGHLY recommend coming here. whether you are just visiting the city, or are a resident, this is a great find. The prices could be considered more of a "special occasion" place, but I would say this is a MUST. Our whole party left the restaurant so happy and talked about it the rest of the night.

We celebrated our son's girlfriend's Birthday and had a wonderful time. Delicious food, impeccable service and friendly staff helped to make this a special occasion.

this was an extraordinary experience of "old but good "San Francisco. a zen vibe particularly since we had piano and saxophone for music the waiter was a wonderful host. and it just felt so good. the food was fabulous. got a bone in 20 oz rib eye and my friend had a petit filet My peas were the perfect companion and the scalloped potatoes were divine. took a giant doggie bag home. my friend had a vodka and tonic that was so good. fresh and wonderful. This was everything that I would want in a steak house. plus they gave us a table in a small room with 3 other tables and that made the vibe very intimate. this is my favorite San Francisco restaurant for excellent meat. worth a try and I thought it was reasonably priced for the caliber of food.

Despite of my precious experience, I wanted to give a 2nd chance to change my opinion. However, the restaurant failed us on every catagory except the bread & butter and our waiter. My prime rib was dry and tough to chew and the au jus was incredibly salty I couldn’t even wet the meat to make it more moist. The baked potato was cold and tasted like boiled not baked. My husband had Harris steak and was very disappointed as well. To borrow his words, the worst steak he ever had! We shared the baked Alaska but again I never had such a disappointing simple ice cream dessert!!
