Harris' Restaurant has three elegant private dining rooms to suit a variety of event needs: The Boardroom, an intimate round table that seats 8 to 12 guests, The Library, a cozy room for up to 22 diners and the luxurious Skylight Room, which seats 72 for dining or 100 for a cocktail reception.

So disappointed with this place. It was recommended by the concierge at the Fairmont (I'm making sure he knows our displeasure as well). It's stated on their website and Open Table of their dress code. Boy, that's a joke! They allowed guests in the dining room with ratty jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes. We didn't need to bother changing into our nice clothes from traveling into the city. Why bother having a dress code if it's not enforced? Service was great, food was ok but nothing special. There are better steak houses by far, in our opinion. Ugh.

Harris’s Resteraunt is always a delight. A nostalgic throwback from 1962. I hope it never changes. The food is always exactly what you want and the service is excellent.

For the price tag of this restaurant, the service should have been much better.  My husband and I booked this reservation about a month in advance. Upon our on time arrival at 5:30PM, we are given two options: a booth at the main dining area or a table at the bar area. We ask for the booth. When we are walked through the dining area we pass 6 semicircle booths, 2 of which are vacant, however we are seated at a tiny booth for two, slightly outside the kitchen. My husband is 6'2 and I am 5'9 without heels, at the table it feels that we just arrived at a child's tea time. When we express our concerns to the host, we are immediately met with attitude, but the guy was wearing Prada loafers, so naturally he must be important. He told us that the two remaining booths are to be filled with larger parties, although the 4 occupied booths were all tables of 2. When I brought it to his attention and pointed out that there are more even larger booths vacant for bigger parties, the very important host told me that they will all be occupied by 6:30 and said that our only option was this or the bar area. We then proceeded to the bar, which is not bad, but definitely not what you want for a quite romantic dinner. The only saving grace to the night was our waiter Julio, who was attentive, professional and friendly. One of the best we've had in a long time! When we left at 7:20PM, I looked back in to the booth area and it was still half empty. Overall a disappointing experience.

This was our third trip to San Fran and our third trip to Harris' The steaks are wonderful and the food was great. It is a must stop when in San Fran!

Went for Valentine’s Day food, service and ambiance was amazing. My husband had the prime rib and it was better than House of Prime Rib.

Sweet breads very poor. I remember it being braised and very tender. Mine appeared pan fried, sauce dark not light, taste of liver. Server did not charge me and I appreciate it.

Porterhouse steak was okay. Nothing exceptional.

Lamb chops were more tender given not rack of lamb.

Service very good but a bit rushed. I had to ask all the questions instead of her taking some time to explain items more.

Overall Good. But NOT Very Good or Excellent. Dined at your restaurant several times since 1985.
