Great food and service. Pricey but worth it.
Everything was very nicely done from food to service. Live two piece band.
Food was great and the staff was extremely nice. I recommend this place
We’ve loved coming here for a long time and return as often as we can.
My wife's Steak Diane was not cooked to med rare.
Electronic check/CC was not fun
Prime rib and steak were a perfect medium rare. Salmon was also fresh and perfectly cooked. Service was very good
Outstanding food, service and ambiance
Most delicious steak I ever had!
We had a marvelous dinner on Monday night, Oct 08, 2018. We were seated immediately, as we had a reservation. Only a few moments later, our waiter, David welcomed us, offering his name and took our drink orders. Seconds later a sumptuous offering of bread with butter and a delicious concoction of a Smokey cream cheese. Every course was absolutely perfect, from the delicious Caesar salad to perfectly cooked steaks. I can't say enough about our experience. I want to thank the entire staff of Harris's restaurant.
My husband and I love this place. Incredible steaks and seafood options!
Had a wonderful birthday dinner with a surprise dessert. I love Harris' for a delicious, perfectly prepared steak meal.
One of the best steaks ive ever tasted. celebrated my anniversary in a fantastic and meaningful way, vast wine list, good options in line with a steakhouse, and an overall good atmosphere with friendly staff.
Excellent food. Amazing service. If you love a great steak...GO!
Other options are available. A real treat place for our family.
The most professional restaurant in San Francisco. The food is always consistent and served hot.
Our waiter John, trained in New York, was great. Great hospitality and service without being overbearing.
Delicious food. Excellent service. Great atmosphere. This is a classic steakhouse.
Great food and excellent service. Add the lobster Mac and cheese you won’t regret it!
Everything we ordered was excellent. We started with stray tartar and wagyu. Both were unbelievable! We both had filet mignon, cooked to perfection: rare and medium rare. Side vegetables and baked potatoe also very good. Split and salad which was crisp and good. We celebrated a special birthday and per my request they brought out a candled dessert. Must try in SF. Very classy place
The steaks are always great and the service was great as well
Classic Old Schol steak house. My once a year go to for my birthday
EXCELENT FOOD and great experience. I will come back soon.
Food was good but not excellent. The table waiter was good and helpful. The concierge who met us did not take our coats and when they were returned to us we were helped to put them on or even said good bye. The room was cold, noisy dark and gloomy. Our seating was very cramped and uncomfortable. Will not return
Surprise birthday desert
Food are tasty
We were seated across from the kitchen preparation area, didn't like that, waiter was not attentive to our needs, and he had comments about our choice of drinks, "NO" I was not happy with the service, but.....the food was excellent
Expensive but an excellent experience
Steaks vooked to perfection.
After all these years still the best classic steakhouse in the city. The waitstaff is very attentive from the moment you sit down. Steaks were cooked perfectly.
Need to upgrade or enforce their dress code. Groups of men in jeans, T-shirts and old ball caps drinking beer directly from bottles were in direct line of sight from our table.
Very good service but average food. Uncomfortable seating.
Excellent food! Service is impeccable. Our server, VinCi remembered us from a few years ago!!! We are from Portland and always come to Harris when we are visiting.
Although the overall quality of the food was on par with the price point charged at Harris, our steaks were over cooked. However, even tho they weren’t exactly what we ordered the quality of the cuts outweighed the slight disappointment in what we received. We will be coming back, but may be more vocal about how we want our food cooked.
Amazing Filet Mignon with Grilled Foie Gras and Black Truffle Cabernet Sauce. Wow.
We were treated great, the staff took care of us. Food was great as always, we enjoy coming here
Best restaurant we ate at on our trip. Food and service was excellent!
Excellent food....ambiance.....and service
Probably the best stake I have had in SF. Service was good but as a member of our party was wearing 3/4 pants we were not allowed to sit in the main dinning area. Instead we had to fit around a small table next to the band which were good but very loud if you were trying to actually talk to each other. Despite not being allowed to sit in the main dinning area they were happy to charge us as if we did.
I wanted to love this place. The vibe was 50’s old school classy. The wine was subpar,
The food was uninspiring. My choice was the ribeye which was big, fatty, but okay; my husband had the petite New York strip which was charred beyond palatability and lacking in flavor. There are probably better options for steakhouses in sf.
Service was excellent. Waiters and bus persons always making sure you are well taken care of. The food was mediocre. The baked potatoes was hard, steaks was tasteless. Was here last year and the food was really good. Not sure what happened with the food. Chef left? Disappointed and likely won’t be returning.
Steak was prepared perfectly - juicy and flavorful!
