In our lounge we have live jazz nightly.

Very solid restaurant. Old school steakhouse style. If you’re looking for the best steak in SF, I think Niku is significantly better food but less of a classic steakhouse vibe and menu

Felt like a dream, it was that perfect. Seriously. If you have an opportunity to dine here, go. This is an excellent place, a dying breed of superbly run restaurants with fantastic food. The one and only thing I would recommend is having a tiny bit of lobster in the lobster bisque. Otherwise everything was impeccable. Thanks for a great experience.

We had a reservation for six people at 6:30 on a Friday night. Our table was ready when we arrived and we were promptly seated. The interior of the restaurant is awesome. It is a definitely an old world steakhouse. The host was dressed in a full suit and tie. The servers were wearing slacks and red vests with white shirts. There’s a customer business casual dress code which adds to the “classy“ atmosphere. Our beverage order was promptly taken, and the menu specials were explained. The menu in and of itself has something for everyone. I started with the onion soup. It was delicious. The broth was rich, and the onions were nicely cooked. I had the petit fillet with béarnaise sauce for my entrée. It was fabulous. The steak was so tender. I could’ve cut it with a fork and it was perfectly cooked to a nice warm medium. The baked potato was huge and they dresses it tableside. Even though I was full, I have had the blood orange crème brûlée for dessert. It was fabulous. It was light flavorful. Even though the restaurant was packed, the service and ambience were outstanding. All guests received each course at the same time. our server was patient, thoughtful, and funny. He did an awesome job. I will definitely go back.

Harris's is one of the last of the truly elegant, old-line SF restaurants. The dining room and bar are beautiful and you can have a conversation with your dining companions, unlike most restaurants. The menu provides excellent aged beef, as well as classic side dishes, plus other items for the non-beef eater. The cocktails are perfect, and the wait staff provides perfect service making the entire dining experience excellent!

We celebrated three milestone graduations with a party of 10 in the private Boardroom at Harris’, and everything was exceptional. Our main server took care of us so well—attentive, warm, and professional throughout. The service overall was flawless, the steaks were superb, and their pastry chef beautifully plated and served our cake. Communication with the team was prompt and professional from start to finish. A perfect evening—we couldn’t have asked for more!

A lovely evening. Our server, Lucy, was so great along with other assistants - our water glass was never empty, impeccable service. Each of the dishes we had was delicious - can’t think of any complaint. Steak cooked just right. I loved the environment, the bar, the live music, the decor.. It is a very special place I hope to go to again.
