   We have been coming to Harriman's for a number of years and we have seen an evolution of the food to be come more pretentious than good quality food. My wife and I had the lobster pasta dish and the sauce was over salted to the point it was almost not edible as well as served cold. The lobster was the size of a large gulf shrimp. These dishes are certainly not worth the money. Our son had the 6 oz filet, which was average, especially for the price. I ordered the octopus appetizer and it was severely undercooked. The only dish that came to the table and served hot was the side of roasted potatoes. This brings me to the service. While the waiter was pleasant we had to asked for things multiple times before he would remember to bring them. In one case, we never received what we asked. It is sad the food being served in Salamander's other restaurant (Gold Cup), which more causal food (bar food if you will) if far superior to what is being served in Harriman's. We had a similar experience for the New Year's Eve dinner. For a $450 dinner and celebrating our anniversary, this was a huge disappointment.

   Wonderful experience. From the moment we entered the front door of the resort the service was impeccable. Everything was on point and our server Terri was excellent. Knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. The team of servers worked together seamlessly coordinating service at our table in a timely and efficient manner. Food was really good, steaks cooked exactly as ordered, wine list extensive and desserts exceptional. Highly recommend!

   We were celebrating ours son’s birthday! He was surprised! From the time we walked in the reception area for the restaurant we were greeted with smiles and courtesy. Briley was our waitress and Avery was one of the servers. We felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant! The food for the brunch was served family style at the table for the three of us! Everything was prepared perfectly and at the right temperature when it got to our table! This restaurant definitely has the right rating of 5 stars! I loved my purse bench that was given to me so my handbag didn’t touch the floor! The window view was spectacular. Next time we are going to stay in the hotel and not just come there for brunch.

   The buffet was disappointing. I have come to the buffet a year ago and it was top class. This time it seemed here was cost cutting. The bread was not abundant the way it was before. The meat was limited and the dessert was not great. I hold this restaurant in high regard but this was very disappointing

   The restaurant took an exceptional car of my 17 year old and his prom date. In spite of being young, my son is well traveled and has done fine dining before. His date had not. It would have been easy for the restaurant waitstaff to treat them “less than” based off age and prom attire. They did not and I am grateful the kids had a wonderful night and tipped well.

   The server was nice We mentioned our dietary restriction at first We received the food very late - waited over an hour for main course then got the cold uncooked eggs (after all the wait) and main dish with what we said we don’t eat !!!! So it was very disappointing The server showed up after disappearing for an hour and said he will take off drinks to makeup for the inconvenience

   Great food, but the services was poor - not attentive, we had to wait for a long time to order drinks, desserts - poorly timed check ins during dinner.

   Astonished at the tiny servings. It was actually insulting that they charged so much money for a toddler size portion. Would not dine here again. Beautiful restaurant, very slow service, and shameful to charge such high prices, with tiny portion sizes.

    The service was top notch. Overall, the dining experience was memorable. But, I thought the menu pricing was a bit off. Nice ambience and excellent service justify for some of it, but not for the quality of food that we received for the price we paid.
