   They do a great brunch here with unique takes on a lot of things. It is very pricey for breakfast with most things over $20, but if you have a comp it is the best breakfast option in the building.

   The best breakfast food in Atlantic City. It pained me to leave such a small tip for such good food, however the service was sub-par. The ambiance was appropriate and close to a beautiful view of the ocean. Our reservation was for 8am and it took our waitress at least 15 minutes before she came over to us. She took our drink order and food order at the same time. I personally would have liked to enjoy my coffee first before ordering. The juices, smoothies and coffee were the best we had had all week! The food came, and it tasted as sublime as it looked. My Apple Belgian Waffle was crisp and the apples cooked to my liking. I like to enjoy my meal and I definitely felt rushed to leave throughout this experience. I would definitely go back, but would not ask for the older lady as my server.

   I ate here before and enjoyed it so I was excited to return. We ordered chicken and waffles for brunch. Anywhere else you get a few pieces of chicken (wing, leg breast, etc). Here, you got an over cooked chicken cutlet. It was rubbery and just awful. The waffle wasn’t any good either. The manager stopped by to ask how things were. We mentioned that the food wasn’t very good. She asked us to wait while she went to get our waitress to modify the check, then conveniently stayed in the kitchen so long that we ended up leaving. In summary, the food and service were both awful. This place used to be good. Now, it leaves a lot to be desired. I will not return and recommend you try cafe 500 or another restaurant instead.

   I took my mother to Harper’s for Mother’s Day. We had bacon for the table. It was cooked well. My mother had the Challah French Toast with fruit. It was good, but it does not come with syrup so you may want to ask for it when the waiter brings food. I had the Eggs Benedict with salmon. Meyer lemon hollandaise sauce, and a potato latkes waffle (potatoes shredded with onion and mushed into the shape of a waffle. Wow! That was very good. My husband had the chicken and waffles; they came with eggs, so he was happy about that. He said they were the best chicken and waffles he has ever tasted. Now, the only con is that the restaurant is practically in the lobby of the hotel, so it is very cold from the air conditioner. Food comes out hot but eat fast or within 15 min, it’ll be cold. I cannot fault them for that.

   Food was excellent and our server was very good. Only complaint is that they couldn’t find our reservation that we made through OpenTable and waitlisted us.

   Absolutely love Harper's! We like to sit with the waiter, Damon, he is very friendly. The Duck Benedict is fabulous!!!

   I was looking forward to trying a wonderful brunch. The food was cafeteria quality and nothing special. The worse part of my meal was the terrible service. I met my waiter once when he took my order. I never saw him again. The couple at the table next to me had a different waiter that was attentive to their needs, so maybe I just got a bad one. After being done with my meal for almost 20 minutes I ended up asking the waiter for the table next to me to get my check. I definitely won’t go back.
