Harp & Crown
Seated at a table at the very front of the restaurant on what is probably a patio in the summer. We looked into the main dining room and bar on the way out to see what we missed. May try dining again sometime.
Amazing! Did CCD restaurant week. What incredible food!
The restaurant week special wasn’t worth it. No where did it say that each course had to be split by the whole table. I’ve been to other restaurant week restaurants where each person gets to choose their own food. Portions were very small because each course had to be split between 4 people. All of the courses added up cost $93 if you bought them all separately, but we paid $140 for 4 people & it didn’t seem like the portion sizes were any bigger.
"Harp and Crown" was very average. We were all disappointed because it is such a popular place.
Everything we ordered was amazing! Also really loved the vibe of restaurant. Overall a great time
It would have been a good deal anyway, but the restaurant week pricing was even easier to justify. Every bite of everything that we ordered was delicious. The best meal out I've had in a long time. I would love to go back and try everything I didn't get to taste the first time around. The service at the table for dinner was better than at the bar for drinks. They were even very patient and accommodating of dietary questions. We would happily recommend for a treat to yourself to get the tasting menu.
It was a great evening with my daughter, we will def. be back with friends. We enjoyed every serving and enjoyed another cocktail down below. Cheers!
Every single thing I ate was delicious. The breakfast buffet was amazing and plentiful. The interior beautiful and insta ready.
The atmosphere was extremely noisy. Food was so so at best. My husband and I both ordered the tuna crudo, and it was swimming in olive oil. My "grilled avocado and grapefruit" salad had minuscule amounts of either of those ingredients but tons of frisee, also swimming in salad dressing. More of a bar, I would say, than a restaurant, and for a young unsophisticated crowd.
What a great place!!! We went on a Saturday night and the Staff did not miss a beat!! great service, great suggestions . We opted for the chefs tasting which proved to be a stellar choice. We were able to taste one dish item from every section. Everything g was delicious and fresh!! It’s a you get cored, but all should try!! It’s delish!!!!
Great service and excellent food. Pleased and would definitely return.
The lady manager was amazing. The boys in the speakeasy bar sucked. They made terrible custom drinks and never checked in how they were. Don’t ever leave the lady manager !!!!!
Staff was wonderful. Was running late for our reservation and they were very accommodating.
Amazing food! We were here for restaurant week and the deals they had were absolutely amazing. Six courses for $35 AND they had complimentary dessert. It was a great way to learn about a new place. I’ll definitely be coming again! Their drinks were also delicious (strong) and worth the price!! A+
I’m a vegetarian and my boyfriend is not. We went for restaurant week and were told we had to split each dish, meaning we would each only be able to eat half the foods since this is a “communal” dining experience. Really disappointed as this was our one free night to enjoy restaurant week, and instead we were told there was no way for us to separately order for restaurant week but enjoy eating together.
Absolutely terrible experience. We were sat by the door on a 20 degree January night in a freezing metal chair. The hostess was unable to move us but offered to turn up the heat (why the heat was not cranked to begin with is beyond me). The hostess said she would check on the table and try to accommodate if the heat did not warm the room enough. She never checked on us. We asked the manager to take the remainder of our meal to go considering we eating in our coats and our toes were numb. He offered to turn up the heat and we replied that the hostess allegedly already did so. After paying for our meal we waited for our take out and the hostess offered us a new table. After asking to see the new table the hostess informed me that there are really no good tables for two in the restaurant. In which case, why offer reservations for two? Not coming back.
The only word to describe Harp & Crown is amazing! The atmosphere is vintage industrial and the food was out of this world! Stop talking about trying it and just go!
Food was good, great service staff. So noisy , could not hear wait staff nor our dinner companions
Had the Chef's tasting menu since it was Restaurant Week. Excellent cuisine. Loved everything I tasted. Waiter was quite patient in explaining Chef's tasting menu. The noise level was quite high, though. Could be due to Friday night. Want to return on another night when it's not quite so noisy, hopefully.
Delicious and amazing chef tasting menu.
Very good experience, dark lighting making for a sexy suave feel, hipster sleek vibes. Comfortable seating maximizing spacious dining. Perfect for a date. Elegant yet very casual
Came her for restaurant week with my girl friend and we loved everything about it! It’s dim lighting and very rustic decor. The bar has happy hour from 4-7 at the bar with drinks and apps for 5$! The restaurant week menu let’s you pick from 5 categories; Veggies, Raw, Steak or fish, Toasts and hot. One item from each. The brussel sprouts were amazing!!!!* the tuna was a recommendation from our server which was also amazing! It’s raw tuna which can sound a little intimidating but don’t be, it was so good! We got the hanger steak, which had amazing flavor! The beef tartare was good, not my preferred as well as the prawns.
I would definitely go here again for a happy hour, even to dine! Our waiter was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. Just like with our drinks..the gardener; WOW!
Drinks were moderately priced (11$).
Recommend to everyone!
Really enjoyed the ambiance, and was glad to sample a variety of menu items as part of the CC Restaurant Week.
The food was not good. It felt like it was all prepped and then just reheated. Wasn’t a fan at all!!!!
My date and I were extremely grateful to our server and the kitchen staff for accommodating our dietary restrictions with a wide selection, particularly during Restaurant Week. This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we look forward to checking out the entire menu soon. The ambience and decor was great, and while the restaurant was busy, it was not deafening.
Isabella was our server is she was great! She was well informed about the food as well as the alcohol. My friend and I will definitely be returning.
Ambiance and service were great. Food left something to be desired...not bad but definitely nothing special
The tasting menu was great! The cocktails were also very good! The only negative I would say is that we were not given new plates and silverware with every course. Overall, it was delicious and the atmosphere is definitely unique!
They didn’t honor the menu and we had to share plates. For the first course the website says pick 2 but the girl said that was incorrect and they make them say that so they can participate. Kind of expensive just to share. Given 1 serving and 2 plates the website should have been more forthcoming
It was Restaurant Week. Unfortunately all 3 of us had to agree on the tasting menu rather than allow individual portions and choices. We were served one chicken leg and breast for 3 people. Will not go back. Service was sub par.
We asked for bread. The bread brought to us was stale.
Rip off for $35.00 per person. $105.00 for those chicken portions plus 3 small spare ribs. Potatoes and Mac and cheese.
Service was lacking but food was amazing!
I really enjoyed the menu options. I got beef tartare toast, brussel sprouts and the Mac and cheese which were all delicious. My husband got the potato and egg pizza which he did not like because it was very dry and had basically no sauce. The potato was actually potato chips. It is a little dark in there as well. But overall, we had a good time.
We went for brunch and the food was good. I am on low-calorie diet right now, so eating buffet wasn't my first choice (I understand allowing customers to order a la carte would eat into their revenue, but it would have suited me fine:)), but was thinking of others in the party. Our server was pleasant and upbeat. I feel like the organization of the buffet could be improved (plate placement, bumping into people walking back and forth and better identifying foods on the buffet -- ex. topping for donuts). Hope I'm not just old and cranky. The donut WAS delicious and I have to say I quite enjoyed the fried chicken bites (so clearly, I didn't stay on track with the diet). I loved the decor and think it has a fun vibe.
One of the best brunch buffets I've ever been to. The food was absolutely delicious, with an amazing assortment of options. I could not get over the melted cheese wheel which I would put on everything! From the chicken & waffles and hand-carved brisket to the make-your-own donut station and chocolate fondue with fruit, everything was fantastic. The breakfast drinks were only $6 which can't be beaten and the service was phenomenal - our waitress would even swing by our table to fold our napkins when we got up for another round of food. Overall 10/10 would absolutely go again.
Wall side tables suck !
All was amazing
This is an excellent place to enjoy an elegant dinner. My date had a great time which was the most important part of the night. We opted for the chef’s tasting menu. For the most part everything was excellent; I wasn’t a huge fan of the crab avocado toast, but everything else was 5/5. I could also use a tad more light in the dining room. Other than that, this place provides a great dining experience and I’m looking forward to going back.
We had a good experience. We went early because very noisy restaurants are not the way to enjoy the best food. So the noise level was acceptable and our wait person was very good. The lighting is quite dim, necessitating cell phone flashlights to read the menus. I had 6 tiny little Kusshi oysters from Prince Edward Island which were briny and tasty. We ordered small plates and shared. We shared the chaucuterie which had a lot of meat on it. However we also ordered the cheese plate which was very disappointing. There were 3 quite small nondescript pieces of cheese which tasted like they were all the same. The bread served with both was unremarkable and a few pieces were burned.
It was our first time to Harp & Crown and we walked right past because there is no sign for the restaurant. This could be due to the temporary door due to the winter, however it was confusing and did not impress at first. However once we found our way in, everything was amazing! Drinks were great, decor was impressive, food was amazing. I have Celiac Disease and i'd say 75% of the menu could be made gluten free (everything except pasta & pizza) which was amazing! We will definitely dine here again.
