Harp & Crown
Had a wonderful Easter Sunday brunch!
Easter brunch with the family.
Service was outstanding and food delicious. Only down side was our table located near entrance to downstairs bar. We will be back with friends!
We enjoyed our food and thought the service was attentive, warm and competent. However, the ill-conceived seating for two-tops along the wall is incredibly uncomfortable and the table is too small to fully enjoy our meal. We would have been more comfortable sitting at the bar, which we noticed many other couples opting to do. Don’t know who thought this type of seating was a good idea?
Great service. Great brunch atmosphere.
Buffet food was cold and the service b
Seating along a wall w the table to your side instead of in front of you is terrible for a meal. Good for a cocktail maybe but a huge fail for an full meal. It was so uncomfortable.
My husband and I ordered the tasting menu which was reasonably priced. It gave us a chance to try 8 different menu items and all of them were delicious. We liked how the ambiance was casual yet it still felt “upscale” because it was very clean and very spacious. We will definitely go back especially since their menu is seasonal.
Server going through the motions and didn't seem to be engaged. Food was hit and miss. Soggy starchy rice pasta, good pork chop, soggy pizza, small drink poors, yummy carrots and parsnips, good halibut, yummy pineapple upside down cake, dry chocolate cake, bland passion fruit bombe. Hit and miss...could be really good. $75 per person can't be hit and miss
This place has a great ambiance and amazing service! Would recommend the chef's tasting! So much food for a good price.
Awesome happy hour at the bar! Super friendly staff!
We’ve been to Harp & Crown for dinner and had an amazing experience. When a friend told us about brunch, we couldn’t wait to go. It did not disappoint- everything we had was delicious and there were so many options to choose from for just $28. Also, $6 brunch cocktails were just the cherry on top to our experience! Our friends in town from Manhattan were so impressed. We’ll definitely be back!
Drinks were divine and food was absolutely fabulous. I have been trying for a while to squeeze in time to go to Harp and Crown and definitely think this restaurant is great and will definitely be going back again. Some highlights were¨The Gardener,¨ Cobia Crudo, and the Spanish Octopus.
four diners, four dinners two reasonable time second two 45 minutes later. Not conducive to shared experience.
Great food outstanding concept great service
Love this restaurant! Warm atmosphere and fabulous food!
Accommodating our special dietary needs was outstanding. The food was absolutely fabulous. The service was exquisite. I found myself researching the owners to gain insight on their business model. We were well taken care of. Almost to a fault. The attention was lovely but a little pause now and again is good too. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
The portion are not to big. With salad and pasta we were still a little bit hungry.
AmaZing. Thank you
We had an outstanding pre-Kimmel event dinner with excellent quality dinner choices and outstanding service in a lovely atmosphere.
Great meal , waiter was awesome
I've had dinner once and brunch twice at Harp and Crown and it's AMAZING, especially the brunch. I came in this past weekend for brunch and the food was great but my friend's chair broke. She didn't get hurt so we had a laugh over it but I think the restaurant may want to run through the chairs and make sure to toss some of the older ones. She actually fell through the chair. I would still come back over and over for brunch though!
A beautiful restaurant in the heart of Philadelphia. We were in town for the weekend and enjoyed brunch at Harp & Crown. The brunch buffet is really well ran and has TONS of options. The ambiance is not to be missed. Great spot!
Beautiful setting, fresh twist on classic dishes.
The food was very very good and the service was excellent. The decor and ambience is perfect for a romantic date or just a get together with friends. Definitely on my list to be a regular place to go!
We met up with a few friends for dinner over the weekend. It was a bit hard to find(apple maps routes us to the chestnut street side). We had reservations and we were immediately seated. There was cold draft of air the entire time during dinner. nothing they can do to change that. No biggie. Food was good, I thought the waiters stopped by too frequently and pushing to clear the plates. There was still food on our plates. Did not understand the rush, it was not like there was a long line of people waiting for tables. Recommend the food, cool ambiance, service is mediocre
Oh. My. Goodness. Hands down, my favorite place for brunch in the city so far! Go. Just trust me. You will LOVE it!!!
Great food, great service, great vibe. The only downside is they cram too many groups into one table so parties of two are sitting extremely close to other parties. It’s also very loud so this makes it super hard to hear and hard to have any privacy whatsoever. Would recommend more for larger parties
The food and ambiance were excellent! Our table was very uncomfortable, as we were seated on a bench and had to rotate awkwardly to have a conversation. Our server was clearly trying to flip tables quickly ... very intrusive and we felt very rushed.
Wonderful food (that pork belly...) and friendly service.
Great service. Chefs tasting menu is an amazing way to try so much delicious foods. Cocktails and service was amazing.
We went for a birthday celebration and this restaurant was perfect. We started with the cheeseboard and shared the NY Strip. It was a great choice! The tables are pretty close and we could hear the loud talkers at the table next to us. It turned out to be very entertaining because they were on a first date that didn't sound like it was going well.
Amazing 7 course tasting menu and we chose the dishes, Emily was a perfect server and made the meal better than it already was
The service was excellent and our Waitress, Darian, was very knowledgeable.
Great food & experience every time!
Hostess was really nice and gracious, food was excellent, Bartenders who brought the drinks to our table magnifique, our waiter ... mmmm not sooo great, only turned gracious and caring when he saw the tip amount we had left him.
We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time.
This was my first time at Harp and Crown and I cannot wait to return! This place is amazing from every aspect. The service was exceptional and the drinks were unique and so delicious. Where do I begin with the food. Every dish was great! It was 4 of us and we started with the appetizers lamb meatballs, garlic prawns, fish and chips (sushi type dish) they were all great not a fan of the fish and chips but it was not bad...and salad of course. The Entrees were 5 stars Halibut, Fried Chicken and Pizza. You will not be disappointed. After dinner we skipped dessert and went downstairs to the speakeasy for cocktails...OMG the gardener is so tasty! I ended my evening with an espresso Martini:-) Excellent Choice!
