I was there with 9 of my friends to celebrate my birthday and we were beyond pleased. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff was friendly and accomodating and waited on us like we were old friends. Staff members Fabio and Melissa treated us like VIPs with warm, friendly service. The guitar player sang Happy Birthday and everything went smoothly. We did not have one single complaint. Me and my friends all agree that we'll be back! Loved it!
One of the Best Brunches I've been too. Excellent Food. Will be back
Cannot believe I just found Harmony Vineyards after living in Smithtown for 20 years!
I felt like I was at a friends house for Sunday Brunch. Loved the decor and the food selections were amazing; everything from pancakes, eggs to stuffed flounder! Definitely check out the dessert table!
The staff was exceptionally nice. Great place to enjoy with friends for quiet conversation( no small children in sight which was a plus!)
I would highly recommend Harmony. Will be back for wine tasting for sure!
My first time there was exceptional so I planned a brunch to celebrate 4 birthdays. 3 in the group had never been to Harmony before. We were all disappointed with the uncomfortable seating in the bar area (previously we were in the other cozy room) and the noise level made it difficult for me to enjoy a conversation with my party. I don't know whether you can make a request to be seated in the other room or not, but maybe that should be offered when an advanced reservation is made. The coffee wasn't very hot and perhaps a mixed salad greens would be a better choice than the kale that was offered for the salad bar.
Brought my mother here for her birthday and had a great time! The brunch was amazing and the staff was absolutely wonderful. The decor is beautiful and the scenic views are breathtaking.
I came here in their off season, I took my mom for her birthday to their Sunday brunch and their food was amazing, the staff was so pleasant and it was a beautiful, quiet Sunday breakfast with a great view! We sat right next to the window. I will definitely be back over the summer to enjoy their live music and wine!
Harmony vineyards brunch was a lovely experience. The location was beautiful you did not feel like you were on Long Island. The food was delicious and the servers were courteous, polite and attentive. The idea to have a brunch at the vineyards is a really great one, the owners definitely knew what they were doing when they planned this. I can’t wait to come back in the summer so I can enjoy the outdoor seating!
Can't wait for summer to go back. What a great little gem. The staff was wonderful and full of information about the Landmark building and property.
It’s a gem. Feels like you took a vacation, not simply that you went to a brunch. Servers all great
Wonderful selection of brunch items, especially enjoyed the omelet station and dessert bar. Can’t go wrong with unlimited mimosas, but we also enjoyed wine tasting flights. Beautiful location, can’t wait to come back!
We attended the brunch. The setting was lovely, the food was very good especially omelettes, and the salmon. The desserts were good, At 50 each it was a bit pricey
even for the area.
The staff was warm , friendly and attentive. We will return . The only regret was that we were too full to
do a wine tasting.
Awesome food and services! A true treat! When SO many restaurants fail to meet a very low bar of expectation- Harmony House excels and offered a fantastic experience! Thank you Harmony House!
Harmony is always good.
The restaurant was closed when I arrived with my party at the reservation date and time. The phone number to the restaurant has no voice mail system. I emailed the restaurant and received a response that they planned to be closed on that day and they had previously informed Open Table. It is impossible to leave a review without including ratings on all categories so I rated everything a 1 although I am not certain if the service issue was with Open Table or the restaurant.
overall great food and atmosphere for family or just with friends. Unique dining experience.... Albeit a little convoluted drive.
Great setting, service and food.
They cancelled my reservation for Sunday morning brunch.
I never got to experience the Brunch at Harmony because they cancelled two hours prior to the reservation. It was very disappointing.
I ate brunch here with a few girl friends this past weekend. The food, scene, and atmosphere were so exquisite. It was a little pricey but I guess you're paying for the experience. I had a lovely time and will certainly come back. P.S. Don't wear any kind of perfume. There were so many bees swarming our table.
Went for brunch on a Sunday morning. Food was great and buffet style. We tried a little bit of of each item that struck our fancy. Very filling great view. We watched chipmunks chasing each other around the vineyard.
Everything was great except that we dined with a groupie of fifteen really loud kids that wa could hear our own conversation
Is there a separate room for big groups
Beautiful place. Great brunch. Wine was very good. Loved it!
Hidden gem! What a wonderful place! Great for brunch and outdoor seating.
Celebrating our 1st anniversary, was a beautiful setting, with pleasant servers, delicious food, and an inviting environment.
Lovely scenery and great food! Great for any occasion!
Excellent brunch and mimosas of course , organic ingredients
A perfect way to start your Sunday. My first time experience was filled with the serenity of nature, along with a harmonious setting at the vineyards. The food, the wine, delivered satisfying points. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I shall return again to this beautiful establishment.
I have lived in St. James for seven years and never knew about this hidden gem which opened in 2012. My daughter told me about it and I guess that is how people find out about it because I have never seen an advertisement although they are on facebook and have a website. My family and I went to Brunch this past Sunday. There is valet parking and the Brunch is held in a beautiful old house. The food was varied and delicious and lovely to look at as well The pancakes were awesome. It is priced a little high at $49 per person but I really fell it was worth it as after brunch you can walk along the arbors or sit at tables and talk, You are not rushed and the staff is friendly and helpful. If you don't want to go for Brunch there is wine tasting and they sell their wine as well as other wine related items.I will tell all my friends about Harmony and will definitely go back.
We come here often and love it. This past Sunday there seemed to be a shortage it servers and the food was cold. Most likely a fluke as ever other time has been perfect.
I throughly enjoyed my Sunday Brunch with my friends. It was so relaxing and the food was amazing!! All fresh ingredients and great bottomless mimosas's. Service was friendly and fun.
We loved it
Would have liked. More choices for salad and vegetarian fare but otherwise we loved it
I took my sister here for brunch for her 50th birthday. We absolutely loved every minute of it! The food was fabulous, as was the atmosphere and service! The scenery having brunch outside on a vineyard on the water was breathtaking and unmatched! We are coming back again in the fall and again for Mother's Day!!
Brunch at Harmony Vineyards was amazing! The food was awesome and the weather was beautiful which made sitting outside extremely pleasant. Peanut butter and jelly cupcakes were so yummy! I loved the veggies. Best Kale Salad I've ever had! So many healthy food options!
Healthy amazing vegan and gluten-free brunch! Loved it!!
Harmony Vineyards for brunch - first time .
Outstanding! Charming place with so much to offer. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The food selection was varied and delicious. Sitting outside in view of the vineyard and walking down to the gazebo at the water's edge was very pleasant. My husband asked the server if there is ever live music at the vineyard. He answered "Yes" and movies also. That sealed it for us. We are definitely going back and also including it for family celebrations. It's a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. Also each and every one of the staff was pleasant, knowledgeable, and did everything they could to make it a memorable experience. Harmony Vineyards is a hidden gem.
Perfect day with good friends and amazing food in a beautiful venue. Definitely will be back.
Brunch in a vineyard? What could be better? I would have rated this location as waterfront dining, but it's actually a moderate walk to the water's edge. But from the patio, Stony Book harbor is visible, busy with boaters, and beautiful.
Now to the food...beautifully presented, locally sourced, and a nice variety. There was much to choose from, but I selected items what fell into the lunch category. Orrechiette salad (cold) with a few nice condiments to suit one's taste: capers, pesto, vinaigrette, or just olive oil. Eggplant rollatini was tender, the sauce sweet and fresh. Flounder rollatini (small filets rolled around a flavorful bread stuffing) was beautifully seasoned and fork tender. I added a few slices of caprese salad (tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil), drizzled with a bit of that olive oil and capers. It was a balanced feast. My guests tried roasted Tuscan chicken, large nuggets of white meat that were tender and garlicky. Kale salad looked amazing too.
Two of my guests went the breakfast route, choosing omelets customized with fillings of their choice. There were huge stacks of pancakes (thick, fluffy, and five or six pancakes deep), topped with Nutella, fruit, or maple syrup. Interestingly, those stacks were sliced cake-style to encourage sampling the other varieties. Of course, there was the requisite basket of bagels with either butter or cream cheese.
And then there was dessert, at least five vegan choices that ranged from brownies to cheesecake, and an equal amount of nonvegan choices. Except for the brownies, all the cakes were offered in 4 oz. jars, a charming touch and just small enough to encourage tasting more than one. I tried the key lime pie and New York cheesecake, topped with a chocolate ganache. Coffee and tea were available and of high quality, accompanied by milk, half-and-half, and nondairy milk.
The price is steep ($50 p/p plus tax and tip), but the bottomless mimosas help to soften the blow, literally! I will return often.
A hidden jem. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Being gluten and dairy free there were many options to choose from. They had initially seated us on the lawn however being that we were with someone who had difficulty walking they immediately changed our table to one on the main patio. The food was absolutely delicious. All local and organic. I would definitely come again.
I want to start with the beautiful setting, it was lovely! The food was plentiful and delicious. I sampled a little of everything (almost everything) from the pancakes and quiche to the eggplant, salmon, muffins and dessert! The wait staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to fill you glass. I will definitely go again and have already recommended this to friends.
We went to Harmony Vineyards for brunch this Sunday. It was truly wonderful. We sat outside at a table for six looking over a beautiful vineyard and waterside setting. The ambience was simply awesome as was the entire experience. All of thought the food was outstanding. All of the dishes and the desert selection were were fantastic. Great omelettes, hot disches, salads, and an incredible desert table. Combine that with such a friendly and welcoming staff, and great wines and you have the perfect brunch.
We triend 3 different bottles of wine , Their 2009 Red- really excellent like a Pinot Noir, their 2012 Red- rich, flavorful, peppery and very very drinkablem. We started with Harmony's 2014 Chardonnay---that was outstanding. Crisp and and an excellent combination of citrusy and buttery at the same time. All in all it was a wonderful , satisfying, and relaxing experience. Looking forward to the next time. A big thank you to all the team at Harmony .
