The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and gives olden days NY jazz supper-club vibes, as does the waiter/waitress black and white jackets/uniforms. However, the hiphop/techno background music and the bar with sports games blaring on the tvs in front of our table definitely spoiled the whole ambiance and contradict the entire restaurant theme. Cocktails were not the best and we tried several. Appetizers were tasty and the steaks were cooked nicely. Good service. As big food lovers, we appreciate fine dining and enjoy returning to quality restaurants with good atmospheres, but unfortunately, this place will probably a one-time visit for us.

This was our 3rd visit to Harlo's, and just like the previous visits the food and service were first rate. We made a reservation for a 4th visit before we left.

My husband and I went to Harlo's for the first time to celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent and so was the food. There is one exception. My husband ordered the 8oz steak frites, although it tasted very good, there was no way it was 8oz. We brought it to the attention of the wait staff and they agreed. They offered to give him another steak or entree choice but he declined. They did give us a free dessert of our choice besides bringing out a birthday treat for me. We would definitely go back, but we wouldn't order the steak frites, not worth the money for the "size". We shared the fried calamari, artichoke dish and I had the filet mignon. They also informed us that they have a happy hour everyday. Looks like it would be worth trying out.

The service was outstanding and the ambiance beautiful and quiet. Our calamari was the best we've eaten in a long time. We had a wonderful evening. The only disappointment was the chateaubriand. It was dry and didn't have much flavor. I would definitely eat there again but order something else.
