Harlem Ale House
Food and service and choice of beers were excellent!
Great place to catch dinner before a show at the Apollo! The food was sooo good and the service was amazing everyone so nice and very accommodating!! I will def go back just know it is a little place but in a good way 😊
The owners are so warm and welcoming! The food was delicious! Love the choices of beers and ales. Will definitely be back! 👍🏽😁
I really enjoyed my experience. The service was great the food fantastic and ambiance awesome! I was able to talk to my Mom and Aunt and still enjoy the great music. The Ale house is a needed establishment in Harlem unlike the others.
It serves healthy sized appetizers and a huge great variety of beers and wines. The Crispin Pear was my favorite! It was crisp, tangy and a little sweet. Hit the spot. This was my second time there and I will be back again and again.
Thank you for bringing an old school ale house to Harlem again. We like craft beers like Brooklyn and other boroughs too.
It was great
Friendly servers and really delicious brunch. Some nice “ non egg” options which I appreciate.
Had shrimp and grits and it was amazing. I also had a moscato which was pretty strong which caught me by surprise
This was an unexpected and delicious find. Having planned a Mother's Day outing last minute, Sylvia's and Red Rooster were unavailable. With a 6pm event at the Apollo, we were looking for something well-received in the neighborhood. We were so happy with the find! The food was delicious - best burger ever with fantastic sauce. Fries were also excellent. My husband and teenage kids were all very pleased. Highly recommend.
Cozy with a decent menu selection. Good service. Not too noisy with a lot of history.
Wonderful host to match the great food will definitely return
The service was lovely but the seating is very tight, it is difficult to move around because the place is tiny in general. the beer list was very nice and we enjoyed the limited menu. The menu did not match the open table referral, that being very extensive and one of the reasons I chose to go there.
Had an okay time at Harlem Ale House this past Friday evening. I made a reservation for a group of 3. I arrived after my friends and they were seated in a far back, crowded corner where it was tough for any of us and our neighbors to maneuver our seats. The waitstaff was fair- they were quick to refill water glasses but didn't come by to ask about drink refills or ordering- we had to flag them down each time we wanted something. My friends and I ordered food off of the happy hour menu about 10 minutes to 7 pm, by 7:30 we had seen nothing of our orders. After having to flag down our waiter multiple times we were told our order never made it to the kitchen and they were rushing it now, which then took another half hour. Food was very tasty though and they had a great drink menu. I would stop in again if around just to grab a quick drink but otherwise I was not impressed with the service.
Enjoyable atmosphere and good food. Nice selections on menus.
