   Overall the food was good, the roast potatoes weren't very roasted.

   Was there for opening. Had to wipe down seats and table as dirty. Didn’t expect that as only just opened. Food ok but battered fish was lukewarm in middle. Nevertheless, was reasonable value. Looking a bit rundown and ready for a revamp.

   Food was ok, although food was pre ordered with 24 Hours notice, missed 1 meal so they had to wait until cooked by this time everyone had eaten 🥺 free round of drinks as I pushed this, no apology, waitress miserable face, but also noticed 1 waitress bringing a kids cake out, dropped something off the cake on the floor & went to put it on the cake ! When confronted they denied it!! Shocking never returning!!

   Lovely variety on the menu, including small portions. Had fish and chips, fish white, flaky and fresh, batter was light and crispy. Chips home made. Gammon and eggs was delicious, puddings were hot when meant to be and custard creamy. Beer was good too!

   Really lovely food and excellent prices. I don’t know why it always seems to be so quiet. Garlic mushroom and Stilton burger is amazing.

    Called in for lunch with friends. Great food, good choice & food was piping hot (very important to me!) Good service & surroundings. Would recommend
