Nice place

Seriously people. This little place is off the beaten path and worth the drive. They grow, cure and source food locally. You cannot get any better. The dishes are creative and inventive but farm to table goodness style. The staff couldn’t have been better when we got a call of someone in distress. She basically said Go!!!!! We through money down and ran. Run to this restaurant ASAP. It’s a fave.

This was probably our fourth or fifth time dining at Hardware and it never disappoints. Love the atmosphere and everything we have tried here has been fantastic. A gem for the area!

My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. She had the burnt beef tips with mashed potatoes and they were amazing. They were very tender and had a great flavor. I had the duck under glass. This was a very unique dish but I ate every bite. The flavors were very good and it had a very interesting presentation. We will definitely go back.

Starters and drinks are amazing. Entrees are hit or miss the two times we have been.

We started with a board of meat and cheeses which were good. Our main courses were brought without the board being removed which was difficult with the small table. My wife did not receive new utensils for her main course. We had to ask while her food got cold. Her lamb shank was good. When I ordered the short rib pot pie, I expected bountiful meat as I always do when I order short ribs. It was difficult to find any meat. There were mostly raw cubes of potato. After several lunches there, it was our first dinner there (celebrating my birthday). Our after dinner coffee was comped for my B-Day, which was nice, but overall, it was not the kind of experience we expect for a B-Day celebration. We have decided we do not want to return which disappoints us as we did enjoy our lunches there.

The food is unique, not the usual hamburgers and chicken wings, it is generally quiet, hate places with TV's going. You can have something to eat that you won't find anywhere else and enjoy the company of the people you're with.

Varied food and drink menus. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Our only complaint was the lighting was quite dim in the dining room and the print on the menus was small. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely return and recommend Hardware to others.

We had an excellent 1st visit and cannot wait to return. Our server, Ryan was so fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable and an absolute expert at keeping all 10 of us happily refilled and fed throughout the evening. Food and drinks were insanely good and love the decor and vibe of the restaurant. Thank you!!

This place was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend making reservations, as it does get busy. We will def be back!

Food, etc. was great but what spoiled the visit - our first visit - was how dark our table was. I had reserved a high top and we were given a standard table at the edge of a dining room. The light was minimal. Seriously dark. Perhaps it would have been okay for 20 year olds but for middle aged people it meant flashlights on our phones for the menus AND to see our food. That's really annoying.

We were not disappointed in our Hardware dinner. I ordered the cauliflower appetizer and risotto for dinner. Both were delicious and large quantities. Others at our table were also very satisfied with their choices. I do wish they had a few more vegan options. There are several vegetarian options however.

This was such a great find! The beer was fantastic, whiskey selection was unbelievable, and the food was absolutely delectable. We have already made a reservation to go back. Great service to boot!

Loved the decor and ambiance. Sat in bar area at a high top and it was very nice. Ordered Manhattan and it was sweet without being overly so. Very smooth. Loved it. Ordered fish stew and husband had bison burger. Both were very good. Fish stew has a little kick and spiciness to it just a warning. Had salmon poke with fried wontons and it was very good. Different with the presentation of it in a mason jar. Creamy avocado wit good sized chunks of salmon.

Wait staff could be more knowledgeable about the food when it comes to dietary concerns. Very loud. Otherwise food quality is very good.

Great food that is reasonably priced. Drink menu, wine list, beer list huge and very good!! Our server was very nice and very knowledgeable. We have been there a few times before never disappointed. Took friends their first time and they loved it too.

I love the concept, the ambiance and the food. Everyone I take here does too. I have to have greens as part of my meal every time I go.

Every time we come here we waver between tried and true favorites or trying something new. Invariably we mix and order some sure thing and something we haven't yet tried, eat most of our meal, then change plates to finish off the meal. The food is excellent no matter what we order an different from everywhere else. Service is always friendly and the drink menu is wonderful too. We'll keep coming back.

Food and waiter were both excellent! We don’t go back to many places because there are so many restaurants to try, but this is one we come back to. Menu changes and it’s always good. The fresh greens they grow there are an added bonus.

Restaurant was a little too dark. Hard to read the menu. Food was good but the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower salad were too salty. Vegan risotto was delicious. Our server was attentive and very personable

I like Hardware - the food is good and different and the venue is lively. Don't let the out of the way location fool you - Its not inexpensive. Drinks and Wine prices are fairly high and so are many of the entrees. I enjoyed the Brisket Burnt Ends - excellent. However the Broccolini I substituted for the mashed potatoes was pretty flavorless. My friend got the potatoes and they were good - o should have stick with that. Her Brisket entrée was much smaller than mine for some reason and a bit fatty. The fish and chips that our spouses had was delicious. Overall a good visit.

The food was delicious! We shared two dishes and loved both. The fish n chips is made w swordfish which is unique and so yummy. A little crowded and loud and our waitress was scrambling so we had to catch her attention a couple times. But she was very friendly and helpful.

Oh yes, I would recommend Hardware to a friend for delectable, attractive food, for such wonderful farm-to-table and health conscious approaches to food preparation. What was unbearable was the noise level -- as the dining room filled up it got more and more unpleasant to try to enjoy dinner conversation. I believe I would suggest going for lunch no dinner.

As always, the service was excellent, the drink list extensive, and the food worth coming back for.

Interesting place with lots of choices especially the beer and bourbon

Great food and impressed with the Waiters knowledge and recommendations. Only negative, the restaurant was very loud. We will go back but on a weekday in hopes that its not as loud.

We think this is our new "go to" place. A delightful, creative and environmentally friendly place with engaging staff. Noise level could be reduced a little.

Nice restaurant, good food and service. Would not recommend sitting at a table by the bar. Noise level was a little loud and too many people needing to get by. The choices of entrees was good.

4 of us met for dinner. Food and service were wonderful. I gave a 4 for ambiance simply because it was dim where we were seated so it was a little bit difficult to read the menu. Noise level was nice for conversation but not so quiet that you could hear other people’s conversations. Overall a great experience!

Three friends with October birthdays planned a night out to celebrate. Hardware was a great choice. I had the chicken roulade, it was delicious with a great presentation. The cocktail choices were plentiful and worthy. We had the homemade hoho for dessert. It was a fun way to share an evening with friends.

We love Hardware - the menu has a wide variety of items and I have yet to have anything that was not outstanding. Great drink menu too! Love their efforts in sustainability too.
