   Food was late, but they offered complimentary drinks, the garden was quite cold they did provide blankets to keep warm, hard to eat with blankets

   the Garden area was booked for another group we were placed in the 1900 restaurant area the food was very poor and I would not recommend the venue and wil not return. The main course was delayed and we had to ask to be served. Our server did her best though

   Couldn’t find my booking even though I got a reminder 24 hrs beforehand, did have a table as every few in the place and the menu from that on the website had changed only an option of 3 main courses.

   I used to love this place until yesterday. My wife and I checked if we can find a table on open table and we found a booking for 17:30, when we booked was like 16:50. We were happy and we went there, and when we told the staff that we are having a booking and showed them our confirmation no from open table, they said that there is no booking and laughed at us and made us feel stupid. They told us that we can sit outside because inside is full booked, even tho I selected inside table when I done the booking. So we decided to leave and never come back. I also stopped using open table because is clearly not working, some restaurants allow booking but when u go there, no booking. Stay away from Harcourt hotel restaurant!

   Garden Bar was extremely quiet. Heaters were not on and music was extremely loud for 7pm in the evening. Would like to visit again on a busier night ...Garden Bar was amazing but did not experience the normal atmosphere. Will visit again though...Cocktails were lovely

   Service was slow. Drink order taken before we ordered food. Waiting 15 mins for our drinks and it wasn't busy when we were there. However it was a lovely place , great food, friendly staff .

    Even if we booked a table for outdoor, they reserved a table inside without taking our permission. When we asked the reason, they said the outdoor was fully booked by one company. It was disappointing and we had to leave without ordering.

    Never in my life I left a bad review but this has to be noted. We had booked a family meal to celebrate our daughter 21st birthday because of the menu available and the ambiance of the restaurant. When we arrived we were sat at a table in the bar, and we were told the restaurant wasn’t available due to a party, even though we had a confirmed reservation. The waiter arrived with a set menu with an extremely poor choice of ‘bar food’. When asked could they accommodate one of the meals from the original menu, because of the special occasion, he asked the manager and came back saying it was not possible because they were too busy with the party. The restaurant should have notified anyone who booked that night about all the changes for the night at the time of booking, and we would have booked somewhere else. The manager did NOT make any effort whatsoever, did NOT come to us and sent the waiter instead to deal with it (he was v nice apologetic and not his fault). Their manager customer service is appalling! We left the restaurant disgusted and will never go back!! We were left looking for somewhere else to celebrate her birthday at 8.30 on a Thursday night. Avoid at all cost!!

    Very disappointed that you changed your menu completely. All that was on offer was a few sandwiches and carvery yet on previous visits your menu was extensive and that same menu is still on your website for lunch. So very disappointed.

    We went to the restaurant for our valentine’s dinner, as soon as they sat us down at the table and provided us with the menu a waiter came to inform us that due to internal problems in the kitchen they would not be serving food anymore, when we asked what the technical problem was the waiter said that they had just stopped taking orders, no respect with us at all, I booked the table days before to come there and not be able to even have dinner, it was almost 10pm. Thanks to Toscana restaurant at temple bar that saved our night and made our night special, because if it was up to harcourt bar and lounge we wouldn’t have had a dinner, just drinks.

    Lovely place, staff are attentive and friendly, food and drinks were fab. The crowd that it attracts are just a bit messy and fond of doing a line or 2 in the bathroom. Not the bars fault at all, just a shame the customers are the only let down about the place.

    Het eten was echt super goed! De man die ons bediende was super aardig en hadden we ook een goed gesprek mee. De cocktails waren super goed en als we weer terugkeren naar Ierland dan gaan we zeker hier weer langs!

    Great experience despite the challenges imposed by the pandemic. Food was very tasty and service was fantastic. The garden seating was well protected from the elements and more than comfortable for everyone. Obviously didn’t have the usual crowds so quieter that one would expect for this time of year but we made up for that :)
