A favourite of our family when on holiday. Delicious local food, with amazing flavours. Excellent service, too. Relaxed atmosphere, where everyone including our dog is genuinely welcome.

We had a very enjoyable Sunday luncheon. Just one disappointment: we wanted a vodka martini to start. This was refused because it was not on the cocktail menu. I pointed out that they sold vodka and vermouth and which could be easily mixed. This was refused. The explanation from the manager was that they wanted consistency across all of their three sites. Is this sacrificing customer pleasure for uniformity?

Family of six out for a meal in the late afternoon We won’t be back sadly. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold, and the music was far too loud we could barely hear ourselves think. To be told that I wasn’t allowed to swap out fries due to my intolerance, for greens (a side that was the same price as a portion of fries) on my steak main seemed very bizarre. I asked, “are you sure? It’s an intolerance?” Was met with “yes I’m sure, the chef won’t do it” We said unfortunately we’ll have to leave then as the attitude felt appalling. It was only then that the chef decided he actually could give me some greens instead of fries. Either the chef, or the owner of this restaurant, are suffering from a severe case of arrogance. Such a shame as the food was outstanding.

Food excellent .Service very good . BUT THE MUSIC WAS WAY TO LOUD!! Asked to turn it down . Manager said he wasnt allowed to do so !! So thats that Ears still rattling GREAT PITY

Excellent food, very tasty and very good service. The one issue my husband and I had was the loud music in the back ground - quite unecessary and we had to ask for it to be turned down, but we still found it annoying - what is the point of having this? It will put us off returning. D.C. Asher

We celebrated our Golden Anniversary with a lunch here. We couldn’t have chosen better. Everything was superb. The only tiny criticism was that the background music was very loud but this was rectified immediately when we requested a decrease in the volume. We love it here and will be back! 😊
