Harborwalk Terrace Ratings and Reviews
The experience was almost perfect. We were there for the Strictly Sinatra night and loved the music. The view is magnificent and the service was good. A little expensive for the simple food we had, but overall, it was worth it, and I would go again at least once a summer.
I love the summer in the city program and always make a point of attending for one of the movies. It is hard to put a damper on the evening when the weather was beautiful and you have great company, however the Harbor Walk Terrance could improve. The food options are limited and honestly the items we ordered were just so so (Guacahumame and Tomato Cilantro Salsa - don't add hummus to guac and Parmesan & Truffle Fries). However, our server was great. We made an 8 pm reservation and I assume that many of the people with 6 pm reservations decided not to leave, making the host a little hectic. They tried to give us a table where you could not see the screen, which we did not accept. We were reseated at the only other available table which had an obstructed view. Fingers crossed they revisit the menu for next summer. -- Even with all of this, I still say it is a fun night.
Harbour View Terrace is a wonderful venue on a warm summer night. You have a beautiful water view of Boston Harbour, an energetic crowd, personable staff, good food and for your listening and dancing pleasure you are sure to have one of the top bands in the Boston area.No summer is complete without a night at Summer in the City at Harbour Terrace.
They changed their menu to 'light fare only' for this year but Opentable still has last year's menu posted (as of July 22, 2017) so we were expecting an amazing choice of entrees. What we got was an okay selection of tapas that were pretty expensive, although not unreasonable considering the venue, which was outside seating overlooking Boston harbor. In all fairness, we could have left once they told us their menu had changed but I still think the low rating is appropriate since the summer season is at least a month and a half old and they have had plenty time to get Opentable to correct the menu.
