   My boyfriend ordered the shrimp and crab mac and cheese. The portion of crab was quite small and the shrimp were “baby” shrimp that seemed to come from a can. Not what was expected based on the cost. I had the scallops, which were good. They came with a side of asparagus that were room temperature unfortunately.

   Delicious as always. My wife and I had the halibut w/mashed potatoes and asparagus. Our son had the ribeye and was very into their seasoning.

   This is a very aged restaurant that needs an upgrade badly. We are frequent patrons of other Anthony's locations and love their food, but the food and drinks at this location were lacking. We felt the cost was far more than we would have spent for such an experience and food that was mediocre at best.

   The captain’s platter was cooked to perfection. Since moving here 6 years ago it has been a problem to find a restaurant that absolutely knows how to cook a variety of seafood. To my delight, we found harbor lights, and the variety of seafood on the captains platter was impeccably prepared.

    I love Harbor Lights. It is always a good experience. Unfortunately, they missed my request for a cupcake for my wifes 85th birthday. But, that's OK. We had a good time.

    Food was very expensive and not great. Had the blackened rock fish with mango salsa. It was just small chunks of mango - no juice. Very dry. Backed potato left a lot to be desired. Way too expensive for less than par meal. But the view was gorgious and the wait staff very helpful and friendly. Go. Have a glass of wine and a starter - then go someplace else for dinner.

    Harbor Lights run by Anthony's is a good restaurant in a waterfront setting. Parking is limited on the weekends and the restaurant is busy. Reservations are a must. Most tables have water views. The food was good quality, plentiful and tasty. Service was excellent with food coming out of the kitchen at a quick pace.

    Our wait person never ID self. Maybe having a bad day? The food was good. Our occasion was GREAT! Oh, and the Ceasar Salad was dry... All in all, a good experience. Happy Anniversary.

    They ran out of bread at some point throughout the day, but no mention was made until I asked for some. There was some bread available because folks ordering the dip were getting some but I guess none could be spared.

    Great Australian lobster, sweet and tender, with drawn butter. Accompanying steak was tender and cooked perfectly medium rare. Baked potatoes ALWAYS perfect. Pricey, but it was Mother's Day, a good-sized lobster and a good-sized steak....worth the price. Did note on our reservation that it was also our 54th wedding anniversary, so a little disappointed that no one acknowledged that special occasion, but overall it was great food in a hometown place with lots of smiling people and good service.

    My server was horrible. She seemed irritated that we were seated. She appeared to have a section outside and just wasn’t happy. She was very inattentive, poor communication skills, and an I don’t care attitude , I had to go and find her because she wouldn’t stop when walking past the table multiple times. When I finally found her I told her my food was nasty I was able to get a new dish. But at this point I felt rushed to take it to go since everyone done.

    Baked Dungeness Crab, Shrimp & Artichoke Dip was to die for. Will have again. What a way to start a dinner. Captains plate was super. Lots of sea food and we had a hot baked potato. Calamari, Cod, Salmon and prawns were all great! Calamari was not over cooked and tender. We took home a lot. Service was outstanding even on Mother's Day with a huge crowd.     Table was ready at reservation time and our server was very attentive. Lobster was excellent per my 95 year old mother. My filet mignon was cooked exactly per my request. We were not hurried at all. My only concern was parking was across the street and not reserved for the restaurant, and so people were using parking lot spots and not even patrons. Restraunt next door had parking available. Still a great experience.

    Very Poor Service: I have been coming to Harbor Lights for 50 years. This was the worst service I ever had. Had to request the Salad I ordered that the waiter forgot. Had to request the Bread Twice. Waiter was not qualified to do the job.

    Excellent food, great atmosphere, and the view of the bay was incredible. Took my wife there for our first anniversary, and it did not dissappoint. Prices are very fair and we were well taken care of!

    The food could have been better. Their calamari appetizer was very good but their clam chowder made with nectar rather than a milk base, was not very good. My husband reluctantly ate it while I refused to eat it. I saw some spiders and spider webs in high corners of the restaurant but nothing that bothered me too much. However, if they started crawling down from their perch, it would have been a different story. I won't be returning. Though it wasn't bad, there are too many other places to eat that are much better.

    We have eaten there hundreds of times. Lydia was great, very attentive but wasn't hovering. Had a couple appetizers and wine, food was very good. You probably know I will be back.....in a few days!!!

    We had a great evening at the quintessential Tacoma waterfront restaurant, Harbor Lights. Thank you Anthony's for preserving this gem for residents and visitors alike. The menu, service, atmosphere were terrific. We entertained guests who had not been before but are now converts just like ourselves. Highly, highly recommend Harbor Lights for any occasion.

    It was my sisters 82 st Birthday and I requested a table for four people by a window with wheelchair access. We had the perfect table with a view of the sound from every direction. The food was so delicious and served just right. Our waiter was very nice and attentive to our needs . He even said “Happy Birthday ,Judy “before she even told him it was her birthday. I have been to the Harbor Lights several times over the years but my sister hasn’t been there for over 15years. I know we will continue to come back many more. The food five star, our waiter ten star!!! I am so very happy with all of you helping me make my sisters night at the Harbor Lights wonderful, thank you . Kathlyn Hunter
