I’ve been here once before for the Sunday brunch and loved it. So I went back. It was different since COVID-19 is out, they served everything family style. It didn’t change a thing except the amount of times I had to get up lol I will be dining with you again soon.

Excellent service, especially during a very uncertain time, but we weren’t going to let COVID19 stop us from a great evening!!! Thank you Paul and Chad for a great night!

The views are great, the food was fine. We were a party of 4 and the lobster, steak & scallops were "fine" . Great view, valet parking.

Great ambiance, beautiful view, nice selection of offerings. Definitely dine here again.

Wonderful service, seafood and atmosphere!

The overall experience was nice but our waitress was not attentive. When we were seated the waitress did not come to greet us for about 10 minutes. We immediately gave her our drink order as well as requested an order of crab legs. We were brought coffee instead of the drinks order. After a long wait, the waitress came back and we informed her these were not the drink we ordered. Approximately, 30 minutes later we asked about the crab legs ordered and she informed us she forgot. For my party, the best part of the brunch is the crab legs. Throughout our experiences, she infrequently made appearance, removing our own dirty plates and the coffee we never order. But near the end of brunch she brought the check stating "I can take it" making us feel rushed, resulting in us leaving without finishing the remainder of our crab legs.

I was nervous bringing my 3-year-old, but they were wonderful. Our waiter got on his level to talk to him, they brought his food out early, and when he started getting fidgety they brought out the crayons. The food and the view were excellent, but I was blown away by the service.

They made our birthday celebration memorable. Of course the 3 pound lobster didn’t hurt either.

Great service. Food was good but not great. We have been to this restaurant a lot over the years and I feel as the group has expanded over the years the quality as gone down across the establishments. Still good but no longer great.

We came for the Taste & Toast event hosted by several Milwaukee restaurants. Harbor House offered some really wonderful appetizer and drink specials and the atmosphere and view are always a treat!

Great dinner. Excellent service from Billy. Recommend for good, traditional seafood dishes.

Beautiful restaurant situated in the lake...views are incredible as is the food and friendly professional staff. Highly recommended.

Sunday evening is a great time to experience The Harbor House. It was about half full which was pleasing. Our table had a great view. We loved the mussels with chorizo as a starter. Husbands had seafood with beef filet combinations which were a good value. Wives had the daily special: Dungeness Crab which is a favorite of our family. A lovely way to celebrate a family birthday with our daughter and son-in-law.

We have been to Harbor House many times and I have to say I would not go back on a Sunday. I do not know if they had a different chef than they do on Friday/Saturday but both of our steaks and my scallops were overdone and very under seasoned. Very disappointing considering you are not going out for a cheap meal.

Wonderful celebration dinner for our 40th anniversary. Excellent service, excellent food one of our favorite spots for celebrations.

Overall it was a great experience. The brunch is a very good deal with the food that they offer at their buffets. The noise level got loud later in the day as it got busy. It continued to get busy during our time there and our server started not come to our table as often. We had to wait a while for water or our check.

The hosts were just awful, especially the head host with a short blonde bob. Terrible service from her and her team. There was no room to sit, the restaurant puts two rows of tables in an already small section. Causing everyone to be bumping you as you walk by. Also, you have to use their valet, they have a huge parking lot attached and is about 10 feet from the door, but require you to pay money to park and then tip the valet.

A little pricey but worth it. Food was very good and a lot of options and the view was beautiful. Definitely would come back.

Could not have asked for anything better

We have always loved the Harbor House so we were quite disappointed in our experience this weekend. The food was above average as usual. But the service was terrible & the noise level and the overcrowding in the restaurant made the experience average. They seem to have added many more tables making it almost a fire hazard since in many areas, when guest are seated, you cannot walk behind them. Other guests and servers kept bumping into our chairs. We were in the bar waiting for our reservation seated 5 feet from the hostess stand yet no one came over to tell us our reservation was ready-They only text you. I was expecting personal service & didn't think I had to stay tied to my phone in order to be seated. Once seated, we were acknowledged & served water. We didn't get our cocktails & bread service for another 35 minutes. It was very noisy & service was slow. For $40-60 entrees, I expect better & it used to be such great service & experience. I think their greed has gotten the better of them.

They’re known for the fish entrees and we were delighted! Our group of (3) enjoyed the trout, cioppino, oysters, shrimp cocktail, and the tuna. Everything was superb! I’ll be back!

Our children gave us a gift certificate which allowed us to enjoy a very special higher scale lunch than normal. It’s a wonderful place with excellent food in a special location

The go-to place for Sunday Brunch, scenery and seafood. Always good. Always accommodating. Excellent service.

Phenomenal Service. I wrote that it was my girlfriend’s birthday and they greeted her by name happy birthday and did the little things that made brunch special.

Brother in Law Birthday

We made a reservation for my wife's birthday well in advance and requested a booth. We arrived 30 minutes ahead of time and were told out we would need to wait as it was busy and out table was not ready. 45 minutes later after waiting and no one telling us anything, we approached one of the men that were assisting the hostess and he was very rude to my wife and said "we are busy and we cannot guarantee you a booth". This should have mentioned to us when we arrived 45 minutes ago. Also, the tone of voice was very unprofessional and again this was my wife’s birthday. After we were seated after waiting for almost an hour, the booth we requested was available and given to someone else shortly after.
Instead of me going there and being ignorant with him, we took a different table in the middle where people were walking over us. The look of my wife's face really angered me.. So I saw a couple leaving form one of the smaller tables by the window and asked if we can switch to that table. This lady was just as ride, blond hair. Her response was very inappropriate. Again, taking the high road, I asked my waiter if we could move and he agreed to have us move to the table by the window.
On top of that one of the two men that were rude continues to watch us the entire visit. Not sure if this was an attempt to make us feel uncomfortable. It did not, but it did make us upset.
I understand it was busy on Saturday February 22nd, but the staff needs to be better prepared to deal with paying customers in a more appropriate manner. We at Harbor House a few times a year and this is the first time we have ever experience this type of treatment. We probably are not likely to come back and will share our unpleasant experience with our friends.

Service was not impressive. We are a younger couple (both 25), and we felt as if they figured we were not going to be a big spending table. We left a note on the receipt as to why the serve was not great, and tipped 30% to make it clear that not all young people will tip poorly. Hopefully the next couple gets better service as a result. At least one water and cocktail refill would be been appreciated, but was not offered until we had finished our meal. The food was good!

Went here on our anniversary and everything was amazing. The service was TOP notch! The steak was cooked perfect to order and lobster and scallops came out amazing! The view of the Lake was nothing short of perfect and the Milwaukee skyline on the other side an amazing add-on. I would recommend this to anyone looking to celebrate something special and will to shill out for a perfect experience in Milwaukee!

The food was wonderful. The service was okay. I delayed my drink order and was promised the wait staff would come back. They never did until much later when our appetizer was out. We then reminded them of my drink order. Still we were left waiting, and waiting without even an opportunity to maybe ask the staff in passing. Finally when our entrees arrived. We had to ask them again, and it was clear they had forgotten having to clarify the order again. This was very unfortunate as I was partway through dinner and hoped to sip on it before the meal as we didn't plan to stay too much longer beyond our entree due to and event we planned to attend. We have had incredible service at other bartalotta establishments and restaurants that were half this price tag. We paid for good food and nice ambience but not good service. That was definitely a disappointment.

We always look forward to coming here. The food is good, and the setting is beautiful. LOVE IT when the waitress didn’t rush us through our dinner!

I had the combo crab legs and filet mignon... and started with oysters. All was outstanding and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice place to celebrate a special occasion or just take in the beautiful Milwaukee city skyline at sunset. Using Open table to set the reservation, was a seamless process that I also recommend. It was a very comfortable and calming environment to enjoy dinner at without being rushed. I will return here for sure!
