Harbor House is a bright, spacious New England-style seafood restaurant Milwaukee residents and visitors love, set on the shore of Lake Michigan. Our restaurant offers a premier lakefront dining experience and the freshest seafood flown in daily from both coasts. The interior features a three-sided bar, a raw bar, an open kitchen, and a private dining room available for special events and parties. A seasonal outdoor patio features a full bar, Adirondack chairs, and unparalleled views of the lake, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and Milwaukee's skyline.
Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.
It's important to note that patio reservations are for outdoors only and we cannot guarantee indoor seating upon inclement weather.

Food quality has gone down since last visit. It’s now all about the lakeside views. A corporate environment restaurant geared to make high profits at the cost of quality.

Poor service- table wasn’t ready- asked to stand around, hostess stand was cold and un welcoming, server had too large of a section and was slow. We were a party of 5 - after we finished eating my wife, daughter, mother in law and son got up to leave as the kids were losing interest. Our server came back to ask if we wanted dessert missing the fact that 80% of the group had already left. When my wife and kids left- no “thank you for joining us” or “have a good day” from the 2 hostesses and Manager at the stand. They were too busy talking. Food and the setting was top notch- but dining out is about how it makes you feel and we felt under appreciated, and taken for granted, not welcome or taken care of.

Always on our list to visit when in Milwaukee. Food is always excellent. Love the view of Lake Michigan from the table. Will return again and again

Ate outside on patio which is beautiful but even in early June in WI it gets pretty cold at night so if you’re going to have outdoor seating it’d be nice to spend a few bucks for some patio heaters. Would make the experience way better. Coming from Phoenix where all restaurants with outdoor seating do this…..

This was the best dining experience that I’ve had in years. From the welcome, to the goodbye, excellent staff, a gorgeous setting, both inside and outside on the harbor. The food was excellent, superbly prepared seafood. Everyone should try Harbor House.

We ate here to celebrate visiting all 50 states and really enjoyed everything. They treated us very well, even providing a Congratulations dessert. The scallops on risotto were delicious and my husband had the branzino, which he said was amazing. Our server was great, always there when needed and the view of the art museum and being on the water made our decision to celebrate here a perfect one.

The view over the lake was stunning. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful. Oysters, Copper River Salmon & filet was great. Next time we find ourselves in Milwaukee we will be back.

Food was just ok. Salad starter was average. Pappardelle for dinner was not great. Would not get again. Friend had lobster roll- average. Lobster bisque was very good. Service good. Ambience and view incredible
