The atmosphere was amazing, you had the option to heat it up nor cool it down in the igloo. The food was amazing as well as the service. I posted the setting and everyone said it was a very intimate setting. I would recommend it to any and everyone. I for sure will be back to enjoy myself again....

The food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. However, the ambiance could use some work. They may want to consider updating the tables and chairs, and perhaps improve the lighting.

Early reservation ensured no issues with seating. With dark interior, decor was OK. Plenty of space between tables. Mananager greeted date at the door and provided several dining suggestions. Server excellent, very well informed and provided good recommendations. Catfish and baked potato with gumbo, all excellent. Date had the steak and small "lightly breaded and fried" lobster tail which was also excellent. Nice setting near the Detroit Music Hall and Greek Town so parking not a problem. Game or concert day could be a bit more parking problems (price) though. Fortunately finished just before a larger party started as the noise levels would have increased.

We had our Post-Wedding dinner here. The food was delicious to everyone in our party. The only item that was not as desirable was the snow crab cluster. The waitress graciously offered to remove it off our bill.
Parking is an issue. You have to pay for parking in the lot of off street parking.

For the price, I expected a more enjoyable experience. The food was barely warm, my salmon was over cooked, the interior was dated and they don’t serve dessert. However on the bright side, The gumbo was great, making an on line reservations was easy and I found a premium parking spot.

We went to Harbor House before a concert. They somehow lost our meal ticket and we waited nearly 90 minutes for our food. We were then late to the show. The food was good but the service was not.

We attended the Garth Brooks concert. The Harbor House did an outstanding job of serving all people quickly. Very impressive. It was packed but handled very well.

Fantastic food. Service was also great. While our meal did a bit to come out, the kitchen was slammed and the waiter kept us in the loop and kept apologizing. When the food did come out, it was hot, cooked correctly and tasted great.

Service and food was fantastic! We went before a big concert and had reservations and got seated and served right away! Steak was one of the best my husband has ever ate! We will be back! Highly recommend!

We came from out of town for an event and were about 30 minutes early. They still sat us and served us the best they could. The food was amazing and we will most definitely be making our way back!!

Birthday dinner

I took my daughter for her 21st bday she had a great time. The waitress was everything very nice and helpful.

The waitress was a little slow and it took a while for the food to come out. The food was great and the atmosphere is nice. If you order the all you can eat the will serve you very small portions at a time but I would go back

Everything was really great aside from our waitress, she had a mean/annoyed attitude.

The resturant and service from Veronica was amazing. My mother, sister, and her friends from MSU were with my party and it was great. We were able to talk, nice music, great fresh food, and excellent service. A definite new spot

We booked a time on New Year’s Eve, went a bit early and they were quick to seat us. We realized the table we were sitting at was a bit chilly from when the door opened and they were very accommodating to find us a better location. Staff was very friendly and the chef knows how to cook a steak!!!! I was very impressed with that!!!

We had an early New Year's Eve dinner. Food was what I would call "comfort seafood", but was good. Disappointed that there was NO dessert. They only had a cobbler and was out of that. Service was fast and friendly. The seating where we were placed was very dark--we had to use our cell phones to see the menu! But it was comfortable and the noise level wasn't too bad.

Food was good, but we were very disappointed when our bill came out $15 more than expected with no detail why. When we questioned them they said, “this must be the 16% we add after 9pm” yet there was a tip section on the bottom. This seemed crazy to me will not return.

Good was good... server must have forgotten about us towards the end because a big party came in. Another server asked if we needed to be cashed out.

Our server took forever to tend to us did not check on us and barely saw about us. The manager had to tend to us & because of the pre gratuity policy she still received a tip. Will not be going back

The lobster dip was delish! We had a traditional 'Thanksgiving' meal and it was good. Next time we may try something more from the Harbor.

Food was amazing. Was my first time ever at harbor house and will be returning for many more.

Angie and Sonny went above and beyond after our disappointment with original bottle of wine we ordered they were out of. Provided us 20% discount off premium wine they had in stock and provided comped app. Food, service and wine were excellent. Highly recommend Harbor House for a great meal with excellent service at a reasonable price.

The food was delicious and the service was great. It was a bit loud but we could still talk.

Our experience was amazing and every single thing we had was absolutely delicious, especially the lobster mac and cheese! We will definitely be back!

The food was wonderfully prepared and the service was just as good. We were seated almost immediately, and greeted with pleasant service. While it was a busy weekend in downtown Detroit, the staff handled it with grace.

Great atmosphere and close to Ford Field. Service was excellent. Food was ok, but not great for the money. Kind of disappointed but would probably try again on a non-football weekend.

Excellent food! The ribs were among the best I’ve ever had. My friend had a steak that was cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding! Do yourself a favor and dine there. !
