We really enjoyed the food. The Goat Sticks were good. My Veggie Calzone was just the right amount of dough to be crisp and hold all of the veggies. The Club sandwich was good, especially with the skin-on, salty fries! Like having the option to make a salad a wrap. The Sesame Soy Salad Wrap with chicken was delicious. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our only problem was getting the Goat Sticks, an appetizer, after the sandwich, wrap, and calzone were served.
Much much too loud. It as impossible to have a conversation as the music and people shouting over the music meant we couldn’t hear anything. It felt like try to have dinner in a nightclub rather than a restaurant.
Met a friend for brunch. Food and service were great. It was very quiet when we got there at 10am on a Saturday but definitely shifted to the expected Old Town 20-something brunch crowd as time went by.
SERVICE A LITTLE SLOW A NORMAL PLACE TO GO EAT HAVE FUN WITH FRIENDS
I frequent happy camper a lot — and like always, it was a great experience!
Had a wonderful time at happy camper! All of the staff was so nice! Definitely will be back to visit next time we are in Chicago!
It was greag
We were ready 45 mins before our reservation. Phoned and they were able to move up our time. Nice holiday decor, good food and drinks. Party of 6 and everyone liked their meal.
Great value. Great atmosphere. Loved watching the game there. The lights around Christmas were so fun.
Wonderful service! The nicest staff made my birthday outstanding!
Great! Service kinda slow, but food was great and everyone was so kind!
Our waiter Ryan was awesome! Food and ambiance were amazing at Christmas time. Love it.
The food was great so worth the bucks but our waitress sucked. She never once came back to check if we needed refills or how everything was. I saw the bus boy more then I saw her. Other than that it was fine.
I love Happy Camper—a fun holiday ambiance and delicious food! Some of the other patrons can be/are rowdy though, especially during football season. Regardless, I will be coming back and enjoying!
Always have a good time here! Great food and atmosphere. However, we weren’t pleased with being stuck by the bathrooms for our reservation table. Would of rather did first-come seating at the bar than making a reservation..
Good vibes, especially around Christmas time! Staff was really responsive as well and the goat sticks were a really good app.
Fantastic. We got seated at a high top in front and the Christmas lights were beautiful.
Favorite place in chi
The food and drinks were great! It is decorated so nice for the holiday season. I would definitely go back.
I really enjoyed the drinks and the music here. I wasn’t impressed by the pizza.
It was good.
Went out for friends birthday. Friend had reservation for 8 people. I had second reservation for 7 people and asked to be seated close to the rest of the group. Happy camper gladly merged the two reservations. (Thank you).
After standing and waiting for 50 minutes for our reservation we booked well in advance, we were seated. In theory should have had Enough seats for ALL 14 guests. That was not the case.
So apart from standing to be seated, continued to stand as we ate our meal.
Drinks were pretty tasty and didn’t take as long to get to our table.
Service guys collecting/distributing plates and silverware were very accommodating. Food was pretty tasty, loved the crust on the pizza.
Overall, wait time sucked even with the reservations. It was extremely packed as well. There were a lot of randoms at the end of our table we kept asking to move. Drinks and food were tasty.
Aria was great. Very personable and attentive, all around very good service.
Way too loud hah
The food was great!
I picked this location to take a couple twenty somethings out for a nice vibrant event.
Unfortunate, we were sat in corner seats away from all the vibe.
Will visit again.
Great happy hour (:
Delicious salads!!! Love!
The food and drinks are amazing! It or will not be disappointed!
My cousins and I (9 people total) had dinner and drinks here recently. We had a great time and service was awesome. They also were able to accommodate sitting us inside which was nice.
Good food but really really loud music.
Loved it there! Our waitress was very nice and always asking what we needed. Has great recommendations for drinks. All in all great time
Stopped in for lunch after visiting the Van Gogh exhibit. The ambience was really unique, drinks were good, food was great!
Food was tasty. Linda pizza was delicious and so was the elote dip.
I love happy camper!
We enjoyed our pizza. Service & cocktails were very good. It is a fun and energetic atmosphere. My only complaint was it was really hard to hear the waitress with her mask on. Not sure why this is required of the staff to wear the mask when everyone else isn’t wearing one.
Amazing, favorite place in old town.
The elote dip was pretty good, except it was a little cold when it came out. The cheese sticks were tasty except the sauce wasn't as warm as desired. That could just be due to the Friday night time where Happy Camper was packed, which isn't to take away from the location.
Double Pepperoni pizza was well made. DJ had great music playing all night, definitely great vibe.
It was and relaxin
I really enjoyed this place, it was my first time going last night. The “big a$$ lemonades” were great! The only negative thing I have to say, is that they cleaned our table when we went to the bathroom & there was still a 1/2 of one pizza, 3/4 of another & an almost full drink. Our server took them off our bill though without an issue.
Terrible. The staff was so rude.
