The hostess ignored me for a good five minutes while talking to her friend (whispering) about something. I said Hi, i told them I had a reservation and 5 minutes later they resumed from their conversation “I’m sorry, what???” And then continued to talk to eachother and other servers as we were still standing there to be seated. Took about 10 minutes in all to get their attention and be seated. Normally I don’t mind waiting, but we weren’t even greeted. Not even a “we will be right with you” formality. I understand y’all are busy but at least have the decency to let us know you will be right with us. Otherwise our server was great, the food was good and the energy was so fun!
Great food and service! I plan to go back again
Our waitress was the best!!! There was quite a bit of a wait even for reservations but they had free champagne and it was awesome!!
Good food. Took about 20 mins to be seated with a reservation. Service was friendly. Ambiance is fun.
Good service, good food, good atmosphere! Great place to bring out-of-town friends and show off Denver!
Awesome vibe! Great selection of food and drinks as well, and the DJ added to the ambiance
Only thing that was an issue was the fact my date said she was dairy free and the waitress only recommended things to her that had dairy. Additionally when my date ordered the dairy free option it STILL came out the first time with dairy. So we had to wait an extra 30 minutes for that pizza and the pizza wasn’t discounted or anything. That was not okay.
Great comfort food at a great price in a fun atmosphere
I arrived before the rest of my group, so when I walked in, I stood to the side for a second. Almost right away, the bartender who was manning the beer tub came up to me to ask if I wanted anything. At the time I declined but he was very friendly and asked what the plan was for me today, why I was there and etc. He was super friendly and when my friends arrived he was "joking relieved" I actually had friends which were funny. We sat down, and everything was smooth sailing from there. The drinks were great, as well as the food, and the service for a Sunday at lunch was better than I expected.
Happy Camper never fails! And the more we go and get to know the team, the more fun we have. 💜💜💜
Love this place! It is loud, so not a good romantic date spot. But so much fun for brunch or getting drinks with friends. Very Instagram worthy. Food is pretty good, but we had some issues with the amount of time it took to come out (two of our friends had their meals out first and basically finished them before the rest of the group got theirs). It was pretty crowded so that might be why!
AMAZING!!!!! WILL BE BACK!!!!!
Great atmosphere. Unfortunately our appetizer was forgotten, but our waitress was great and accommodated us! Pretty busy inside for a Thursday night.
It was as awful. I was permitted in no problem…just a smile and hello. My son’s husband was asked for his ID when he arrived and was not permitted in without it. When I came to see what was going on I was told children were not permitted. I said he’s 30 and we’re not drinking. The hostess then phoned me twice because of course I had to leave. She said there was no age requirement. Hmmm they don’t seem to really care about their customers and wonder if this was a hate crime.
really great ambiance!! rly good unique drinks!!
Even though the temperature in Denver was in the single digits, the covered patio and heaters provided a comfortable setting. Service was timely and attentive. Our server Bryan was amazing and friendly. The staff did a great job accommodating our party of 10. There is a two hour table limit, but they won’t bother you unless there’s other parties waiting.
Our server Katie was amazing
Waitress was new but took an hour to take our order.
So much fun always! If you can sit outside, they have fans in the winter and heaters in the winter!
Went here with our easy 3 month old baby for an early dinner on a week day to try it out and hopefully avoid any prime dining and traffic. First of all, parking in this area is simply atrocious. It’s going to make me avoid visiting any establishment in this area. The atmosphere is super cool and there is plenty to take in and look at. However, it was super loud, and really cold since we got seated in the outside tent part right by the edge, where there was no protection from drafts and outside elements other than the tent material. We got seated at a high top (really? With an infant? Even when I made a note we’d have a baby with us in the reservation and requested an accommodating seat?). With this, needing to shout at one another for conversation, and the cold, we decided to just order our food to go and walk our 4 blocks back to our car as that’s the only place we found to park, and go home.
It took 50 minutes for the nachos to come out. For a take out order, it probably wasn’t the smartest to throw the nachos together in a pizza box the way they did. Then. It took another 15 minutes for the calzone to come out. The calzone had lettuce inside of it and no marinara was included. Lettuce inside of a closed and hot steamy calzone?? What in the world? Gross. By the time we got home, the calzone was a soggy mush and so were the nachos. We threw both out as they were inedible. What a waste of $40+ (not including the very generous tip we gave the wait staff since we made the choice to leave, but still tipped handsomely, because hey! totally not their fault.) Super disappointment and just about ruined our first date night out in a long time. We ended up having to DoorDash another meal from another restaurant. Boo. Big big thumbs down. Not I know why new parents don’t venture out much. This place didn’t make it any easier, that’s for sure.
Fun atmosphere and good food. I would definitely go back.
Great. But a little cold last night
Very disappointed. I have been wanting to come here for a while. The hostess was pushy about making us sit outside but I was freezing. We had to ask her to sit away from a large bunch of kids in a booth. The food wasn't as good as I expected either. Definitely didn't live up to my hopes or expectations. Especially for a birthday.
The bartender David always gives exceptional service and is so friendly!
Jessica our server was kind, attentive and fun!
Loved the atmosphere, our waitress was outstanding, and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
My family and I were looking for a fun place to have dinner while visiting Denver. Happy Camper is definitely the place to enjoy yourself. If you’re looking for family friendly this probably isn’t your place, but if you’re looking to have a drink or two while listening to an in-house DJ this is definitely the spot. The music is loud so conversation can be difficult, but the atmosphere was enjoyable. It wasn’t what we were expecting, but we all had a great time. Food and service were both exceptional!
Server was so rude. Couldn’t get scrambled eggs - they continued to come out fried and runny even when I consistently asked for well done.
Fun spot to get friends together for drinks and people watching. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good drinking spot.
The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The holiday drinks were also super cute and very tasty!!
Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, relatively fast service, decent food. Would definitely return.
Fun atmosphere! Great vibe! Yummy drinks and food!
This place has a 21 and over rule on the weekends after 2pm. While that is no big deal overall- there was no mention of it when I called about making a reservation since I have never been there.
We made reservations for 8 people well in advance. When we arrived (10 minutes early) they told us they were very busy. The only table they had was in the outdoor area. There was no mention that we'd be sitting outside in December when we booked the reservation. It was literally freezing. No heat lamps. No blankets. My guess is it was 40 degrees at our table. It was miserable.
Great ambiance and great food!
Great appetizers, drinks, and pizza. Reservations are a must Friday and Saturday
