Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar - Pearl St. Boulder
great service and consistent quality, a good variety on the menu- thankyou!
We go to Hapa often. Make reservations and expect it to be loud, very loud.
The special cocktails are great and the special sushi rolls are always great.
Best sushi in town!
Excellent food and service! Bit loud but still able to have conversation. Would definitely go again and highly recommend
Great Sake list....lively and very good sushi. O roll is a must.
Absolutely the best sushi hands down!!!!!
Had a great experience with a group of people. Our server was awesome, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Everyone enjoyed themselves!
We reserved a place at the back bar for a 5 year anniversary. No spots there and we had a tiny table stuck in the corner of the front area.
I HAVE to be gluten free due to celiac, and requested gluten free items. We of course had to pay extra (which I think it totally unfair due to a disability and true allergy) for GF items. Our waiter was very slow to get back to us. We requested more ginger and another glass of wine when our food came and it was delivered as we were finishing. Service was poor, food was so-so, and the bill was HIGH. We have eaten at Hapa many times in the past, and we also always return there for our anniversary as this was where we had our first date. Next year we will go else where. I dont really see any reason to go back to Hapa. Food is so-so, super expensive, it's super crowded (even on a Sunday), service is bad, it's loud and just not worth it.
superb sushi, sashimi, nigiri, excellent service. It is usually crowded, as you would expect from a restaurant this good, and the tables are quite close to each other, so make new friends! Prices are reasonable. Do not stray from the sushi/sashimi/nigiri -- that's what they do best.
I go to Hapa at least once a week and it’s is by far my favorite restaurant!
We dine here about twice a month. Both for dates and with the whole family. They are so nice. Troy the GM is fantastic. We love it.
Superb food but noise level was loud. Unable to have a conversation without shouting
Food was fresh and amazing! They had a full regular menu as well as a gluten free menu and soy sauce, I was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of sake choices as well. Beth our server was very helpful and super pleasant! 😊
Great fresh sushi.
Wa are fans of Hapa. The Sushi is good and the service. I have Celiacs, and for me their offering is great. I always get the Aspen Roll without the Sake Butter, and the Miso Soup. They have an excellent bar, with great cocktails, and an excellent Saki offering.
Great food, excellent service. Young crowd.
We love The staff, food and ambiance here. Troy is an awesome GM and hires people who really care. It is our favorite spot in Boulder.
Love this place! Troy, the GM is awesome and the food is always perfect. Great for date night and great for family as well.
So far the Boulder location is my least favorite of the Hapa locations. My wife and I have enjoyed the Landmark location for years and recently moved further north and west. The food was great. Our server was professional, friendly and fun. The space felt cramped and noisy.
Our waitress was super dank and so was our hostess, her name was Jessica. Love that gal. Hapa is dank
Great sushi, but it’s just too loud, felt like I was shouting.
Sushi is fabulous, as always!
We had a fantastic time at the Pearl Street location. The miso soup was maybe the best I’ve ever had. We had a variety of sushi and sashimi and it was all fantastic. I can’t wait to go back.
Believe we may have had an amateur sushi chef in training. Sushi fell apart and seemed very salty.
Believe it or not, this is a kid friendly spot on Pearl st. We like to bring the kids, order them a couple of PBJ rolls, and we can eat our sushi in peace! Great people watching on the patio too if that’s your thing.
The sushi was very good but the Salmon honey miso was not outstanding and we had to send back a special roll on the menu. Service was excellent, the scene vibrant and the wine was good and well priced for what it was.
Everything went flawlessly: the food, the service, the ambiance. It was a very enjoyable experience and we shall be back soon.
First time dining at Hapa! My daughter and I had a fabulous time! The fish was super fresh and delicately prepared! My fave was the Uni sushi (yum yum), the tofu agedashi was oshi!!! Thank you Hapa for a lovely meal! I will be back with the fam when we come visit our sophomore daughter :-)
Favorite restaurant in Boulder!! I go with my kiddo every time I visit her at CU.
Our waiter Derek was amazing and the food was great as always. Thanks!
Been here many times and I'm sure I'll be back again! Love the outside seating.
Great food, good service, a little loud
It was my daughter’s birthday and Amber did a wonderful job taking care of us! She was very attentive and a sweetheart! She’s a gem! 😀
Great dinner, as always!
XXX roll was maybe some of my favourite sushi I've ever had. The service---and this applies to everyone from the host staff, to the bartenders, to the couple of waitresses who helped us---were all kind, friendly and attentive.
Probably our only issue is barely worth mentioning: our drinks were *insanely* strong, which would be perfect for most people but we're lightweights these days so it was a bit much. Not a thing regular folks would likely list as a negative haha.
We will absolutely be coming back here.
As always, the sushi was excellent & the service was just attentive enough !
Very good food and amazing service
We always enjoy Hapa Sushi. The staff were extremely attentive even on a very busy Friday night. The food is always fresh and comes out really fast. A wonderful experience.
The food and service were very good. Would go back again.
This place needs a bigger establishment but I've been saying that for years. The sushi is worth the tight squeeze. The Glasshouse Roll is my absolute favorite!!! I think the ponzu sauce was awesome!!!!!
