About Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar - Landmark in Greenwood Village

The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun!

The food was great, I enjoyed the Tootsie roll that I had there as well as the baos.
The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Reservation was at 7:30, we were not sat until 8:00. Manager offered drinks and appetizers but that didn't help the fact that we had 2 friends that drove quite a distance to meet us and wanted to meet early for dinner. The place is VERY LOUD and it was difficult to carry on a conversation with 6 people. Service was slow. Had to reorder drinks a few times because they were never ordered in the first place. Sushi was fine, nothing spectacular. Better places to have sushi with better service.

It was packed on a Friday night, but the manager went out of his way to take care of us while we waited and the food and service (Dan) were terrific.

Food was outstanding and the service was quick, accurate and professional. A little loud, but very fun for all of us to enjoy a special 17th birthday for my daughter.

Disappointing - eel way over-cooked - - extremely small rolls - - and the kitchen was slow. Not a good night for Hapa - which is usually really good.

We had only ever eaten at the Hapa in Boulder but now that there is one closer to Colorado Springs we can make the drive and enjoy this one. It’s bigger and newer than the Boulder one, which is small but charming.

When we arrived (we had a 6:30 reservation) they were packed and out table wasn't ready. But the staff there went out of their way (on a very busy evening) to accommodate us and let us know when our table would be ready. Great service!

Very loud, but good food and great service. Went on New Year's Eve, so loud, and full, but regardless, service was great and staff was very attentive to severe food allergy needs.

We had another great dinner at Hapa. The food was very good, and the service excellent. Our young girls have Celiac disease, and we never have a problem when we eat here. They have many gluten free options to choose from.

The food and service were excellent, I will say that right off. The noise level was quite high. We were seated right by the hostess stand, which was fine as I'd asked for a short walk for my guest on a walker. Had it been just my husband and I, I'd have asked for a table further in and perhaps the noise and bustle wouldn't have been so "energetic." I thought the restaurant was a bit dark too, a bit past "ambience." The front entry, however, is very dark. Hard to even know it's the front door and then you walk into a completely dark foyer which is unsettling. Overall a good experience but I'd work on the environment a bit.

Not enough fish in any of these overpriced rolls. Too much sauce distracting flavors, rice dry as can be. Won’t be returning

Service was friendly and very good. Our waitress was very helpful. The manager came over and explained how to do the platters and was very helpful also.

The food and drinks were worth the drive and the price. Really enjoyed our afternoon.

Japanese/Hawaiian fusion, mostly sushi and sashimi.. very innovative main dishes.. quite noisy even on a midweek night.. Japanese draft beers.. food portions quite sizable, prices manageable.. making a dinner reservation is a must !!!

Having recently become allergic to seafood I was excited at the vegetarian section of rolls. Delicious. Eggplant, avocado, tempura sweet potato - yum!

The sushi was just average. The rice on the rolls fell apart but the worst problem was that
our salads, appetizers and sushi were all delivered at once. It was a crowded table and
difficult to eat like that. Honestly , we have eaten there at lunch and it was much better.
Disappointing.

I am a fan of all the Hapa locations, but this one has ample seating, and the waitstaff are particularly kind. I absolutely love the Mork & Mindy roll and find that Hapa has more creative rolls and ideas than most other restaurants.

Servers were very accommodating to our wheelchair-bound guest. They even brought her a new glass of wine when she accidentally knocked her's off of the the table.

Food and ambiance was good.

I recommend it!

Katie our server was quite responsive and personable.
However, she was not informed we were celebrating a birthday, but responded well when I mentioned it to her after dessert.

We love Hapa - the food is always delicious and the service is super friendly. On this particular trip, we made a reservation and arrived on time for our table but since they were running a little behind they gave us a complimentary order of edamame plus an appetizer of our choice. Very generous and much appreciated!

Hapa Sushi is the best sushi restaurant that I have enjoyed in Denver Metro. While it is a bit loud and a little too dark, the food is wonderful and makes me smile! A must try for anyone who loves sushi or is feeling adventurous and wants to try it for the first time.
