Gréât reliable fun spot in CC!
Great food, excellent service great ambiance. I see you are now
Requiring mask which I respect, but make sure you ask guest to kindly wear a mask instead of “Where is your mask”?
Always a great place for sushi.
Great sushi - highly recommend the Ruby Red Roll. Service was fantastic! Tables were a bit close together, so if you want some space, ask for a booth or table by a wall in your rez!
Turn of the AC. It’s November. Was absolutely freezing in there.
Love this place, the food and service are always amazing!
We got seated at a terrible location. Next to a huge, loud group. The table was tiny and barely fit our meal. Food was okay - not the best. The server was the only saving Grace, she was so nice.
This place has been going downhill since last year. I ordered mostly nigiri and the fishes were very dry and not good. Won't be back at this location
Family in town
It was alright.
Jade was a great server. We are outside and it was very cold. We could’ve had a light on out table too. Overall very good!
Great service and delicious food!!!
Server was great. Food was great. We enjoy coming here quite a bit.
Food was very fresh, service was great and the ambiance was terrific!
Enjoyed our night! Food was great as always. Thanks!
Hapa just beat out sushi den as my new favorite sushi spot in Denver. So good!
Jacqueline was very attentive and fast with all orders after letting her know that there was a blood glucose issue. The food was outstanding and sitting outside was entertaining!
Went to celebrate my birthday dinner with 3 others. Waitress was excellent, food was excellent, restaurant was a little loud but got better as it emptied out. My favorite sushi restaurant in Cherry Creek.
The service was great and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be going back. Yummy!
Terrible service from a rude waitress. I was appalled.
Plenty of affordable options that are still delicious, including great selection for vegetarians. It was a really nice spot to grab dinner on the way to the airport!
Morgan was an amazing waitress and everything we ate was the best “version” we’ve ever had. Super cute for a date night with great portion sizes. The Banana tempura dessert was to die for.
HapaSushi is always a safe bet for good atmosphere, great rolls, and good drinks.
The sushi is always so fresh and delicious. Some of the rolls are pricey, but they are so good, we keep going back. The new location is great too, with really nice ambiance.
Overall pretty good meal! Sushi and shumai was very tasty. Enjoyable night!
Service was slow- however they did apologize about that and give us a discount. They did not bring us everything we ordered but we didn’t bring it up because it had taken so long we didn’t want to wait longer. Sushi was so so, definitely not how they usually are. Fish did not taste that fresh and everything was just mediocre. One exception was we got the booty call roll
And it was excellent!
Best food and best service
We got seated at our reservation time, and noticed they were quite busy. On the tables there is a note that says there are a lot of new employees, so please let them know if anything is not right. We had been waiting for about 20 minutes for our server to come by to the table, then we noticed another couple sit down next to us. Roughly 5 minutes later a server comes to their table. I try to get her attention, but she pretends not to see me. Finally the hostess that seated us walked by and asked us if our server has been by. We said no. A couple minutes later the server comes by the table, and apologizes and says something to the effect of not knowing he was in our section. We order our food and wait another 25 minutes for the food to come out. The rice was stale and hard on our rolls. The drinks tasted like cough syrup. I understand we are still in a pandemic, and there is a staff shortage everywhere, but I don’t think any of my concerns are unreasonable.
Good was amazing as it always is. Super friendly staff. Best sushi hands down.
Freezing outside - need more heat lamps
We were excited to visit the new Cherry Creek location, but it was a mess all around.
From awkwardly-botched cocktail orders to unannounced upcharges based on minor change requests to something as simple as miso soup not arriving despite multiple inquiries, our obviously new and under-trained server never really put it together. Not entirely her fault, as the new Cherry Creek location looked to be trying to pack customers in regardless of whether it had the kitchen and bar staff to actually deliver.
More disappointing than any of that was our actual sushi. My wife's pricey Sashimi special consisted of very thin fish slices, and my "Rainbow Roll" (normally a generous portion of various fish wrapped entirely around a California roll) was a joke - just a few thin flavorless slices laid on top of a bland roll.
I understand that staffing shortages and "supply chain" issues might make it challenging for restaurants to do everything they'd like these days, but this was just embarrassing. This Hapa location has a lot of things to figure out, both in front of the house and in the kitchen.
As a family we generally enjoy Hapa Sushi for their sashimi and nigiri as well as other items. This last time the sushi didn’t seem as mouth watering. It’s not that it didn’t seem fresh enough, just not as good as we remember. The spider rolls were great, the #9 roll too. The Colorado hamachi was the best bite we had. The ebi, grilled scallop, tuna, and eel were just ok. Service was fantastic from the greeting to the server. Prompt, friendly, and helpful. Food came out quickly too.
Very good overall, server was prompt but didn't check back to see how things were or if we wanted anything else before dropping off check.
Great night at Hapa!
Always good sushi and had excellent from Jade.
the appetizers came quickly and were good. but the dinner was >30 mins in coming after the appetizers were taken away. However the waitress came to apologize, and the manager also came to apologize and made an appetizer complimentary. it was definitely a very nice gesture for the manager to make the effort to personally apologize for the delay - due to several large parties going on.
will visit again
Great fresh sushi..ate outdoors but no heaters by us. Otherwise great!
We were sat at a very weird table. It was a booth but was in the middle of the restaurant. The wall on one side went to the ceiling and there was a bar on the other side preventing entry to the booth. Also our server was not very friendly or sttentive
