About Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar - Cherry Creek
The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! Incomplete parties will not be sat until complete.

Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar - Cherry Creek Ratings and Reviews
We've been to Hapa many times. We went on the spur of the moment, knowing it was Restaurant Week and were incredibly happy with what they offered. We didn't think it would be easy for them to do, but what they offered was outstanding and an incredibly good deal, especially for someone who had never been there before.
Amazing food! The tuna and salmon poke appetizers were generous, miso salmon was superb, booty call roll was fabulous, albacore and yellowtail nigiri were melt in your mouth pieces of heaven. We finished the meal with the toffee banana bread which was sinfully good. We also enjoyed the Pearl unfiltered sake.
We had a great time at Hapa for 5280. You share an appetizer and dessert between 2 people, but since we had 3 people, they brought us out 2 appetizers and 2 desserts - pretty awesome, right? We all ordered a Hapa original roll and nigiri for our main course and they did not disappoint. We had a great time here - the service was fantastic and the food was amazing as always.
We went for valentines day, when the host seated us we could not even fit in at the sushi bar because the couple next to us were taking up more than their share of space, the host did not help us with this and we had to ask the couple to move over ourselves (awkward). Not only were they taking more than their share of space but they had also taken one of our place settings, we finally noticed as our food arrived and our waiter was not around, and the other servers refused to acknowledge us. If it wasn't for our amazing sushi chef and the great food the experience would have been sub-par. They were also giving out roses to the ladies... but I did not receive one... apparently the hosts must not like us. We wont go back anytime soon :(
We had reservations at 8:15 but because the restaurant was absolutely PACKED, we had to wait a little longer for our table. We got drinks at the bar and waited- checked in on our table once. At 8:20- the manager sent over a free edamame appetizer and apologized for the wait. We were so impressed by this gracious offer and of course we were more than happy to chill out a while longer. After being seated- the manager told our server to get us a free round! So not only was the dinner amazing- as always- but the service was phenomenal. Thanks so much for making our night easy. It takes a great manager to make things go smoothly and I can definitely say we'll be going back soon!
Even though we always request when we order that they stagger the delivery - we get hammered with food and rushed out the door. Please listen to requests when a table of adults is trying to sit down and enjoy a dinner. You really don't need to turn the table that fast.
The sushi here was very good. Compared to some of the other sushi locations in Denver is has a more relaxed and young vibe, which is kind of fun. For our first time there they brought some sake to try as an extra so that was fun. Overall a very good experience. Also- I have heard great recommendations about hitting up their happy hour for great deals on sushi.
