For decent priced and so far always good Sushi, with good and friendly service, this is the Hapa to go to in town. My kids love their children's Sushi menu and their scallops are always fresh...which is not a gimme for those who love scallops!
Great sushi restaurant! Been going since 2005. We usually start off with their tuna nachos and always get the Booty Call roll. The lobster and garlic butter sake sauce is amazing!!!
Food was good. The size of the rolls were a little small given the prices. Sashimi was fresh. I felt a little cramped. They put us at a table meant for four when there were six of us. I'd go back
Service was great. Sat outside on the patio which is always a treat
I eat at both the Cherry Creek and Landmark locations of Hapa, and absolutely love both. The food and service are consistently good. If you're going, try the Magic Mushroom appetizers; they are delicious (but contain no mushrooms or other fungi).
Poor wine list. Extremely loud, mediocre service,
THE HAPPY HOUR IS EXCELLENT! OUR WAITRESS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE ACCOMMODATING. A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE OVERALL.
Excellent choices for food and even accommodating at that. The service is great and prices are reasonable had a great experience.
It has become a tradition that every summer we plan one of our Sunday family gatherings at Hapa's for Sushi. Happy Hour is a great deal! Service was excellent! Life is good!
Gotta love gluten free sushi!
Our waitress was awesome. Very good at explaining the specials and suggested a great wine. Sushi was fantastic and super fresh. Will be back soon
I had the Yakiniku dinner. The description was specier version of teriyaki. It was so sweet and no spice at all. My friend had the kalua pork. It was OK. I can say that the food we had was a better version of a Japanese food court with 2x the price.
We had an excellent Mother's Day lunch at Hapa. the foof was excellent and the service outstanding. Our guest of honor was so pleased she posted immediately to friends and family on social media about her great lunch - which led to a memorable day. thank you!
A nice array of rolls with a limited selection of nigiri sushi that was very fresh and flavorful. Presentation was excellent, but it shows that it's not Japanese chefs at the helm.
This will be my last visit, as the quality and service has gone downhill over the years. Despite being mostly empty, service was slow. There was a fish bone in one of the rolls, and the waiter acted like he was hooking us up by removing the roll from our bill.
Service, food, ambiance were great!
Mediocre sushi and not very fresh
Restaurant too small with no regular tables so you are sqeezed.
No mention of Hand Rolls and have to ask which is OK for Colorado but terrible for a Sushi expert from LA or New York.
Always a good sushi place. Staff is always amazing
I have a food allergies to soy and sesame seeds so sushi has always been a challenge but this place accommodated me perfectly and i got to enjoy a night out for sushi, which was delicious
The booth call roll, made with lobster, was absolutely amazing!
We are celiac and our server took great care and brought us gluten free soy sauce . We really Enjoyed this place - and we would love a few more gf options but sushi is good. We will go there if we want sushi rolls and we love the miso soup as well.
Would definitely go more often if hot food choices too like..... Chicken Teryaki rice and vegees
we do wish they had gluten free teriyaki sauce - it's so easy to make
We love Hapa, and appreciate that they take reservations. The service is always friendly and the fish is the freshest! The tuna poke is delicious with a beautiful presentation ... better than we have had in Maui!
I had been to Hapa Sushi before and had a better experience than this last time. Food was not very good. I will give it another chance though.
Arrived, checked in with no problem, and went to the bar as we got there a half an hour before our reservation. 15 minutes prior to our reservation, the hostess came over and escorted us to our table. Our waitress Jenna was amazing, and the food was very fresh.
A little higher priced and other sushi bars in the area, but I guess you get what you pay for… And on a special occasion, I didn't really care.
Hapa in CC is my favorite sushi restaurant in Denver. Never a disappointment. Great food at reasonable prices.
We enjoyed our meal there and felt the quality of the food and ambiance was very good. The only issue we had is even though we had a reservation at 7 pm, we had to wait at least 20 minutes for a table.
Brought my cousin from Japan here and she loved the tofu dashi, I asked for tempura Nori even though it wasn't on the menu and my fantastic waiter served it up. Love the service, the atmosphere and the food. Lunch and Dinner favorites for sure!
Have enjoyed the Hapa Happy Hour many many times and absolutely love it! Can't wait to return!
Great restaurant location at Cherry Creek North. The sushi was fresh and the Japanese whiskey selection was outstanding. The staff was excellent.
Our favorite place to eat! Always fun and always good
We didn't have a great experience. The food did t seem very fresh. We have been here a lot and always enjoyed it.. This wasn't one of those times unfortunately.
Dined here over the holidays. Food was fine, Tuna Poke remains a great choice. Service needs a little help - served the wrong beer and the wrong sake. Also brought the apps, sushi, and main dishes at the same time. There really isn't room on their table to hold everything at once. Prices are reasonable for this area, service is friendly, and sushi is good-very good.
if you like sushi for the rice, this place isn't for you
The food and service at Hapa are very good and are one of the reasons I have re-visited this place several times.
The tables might be a little too close together which makes having a private conversation a bit more difficult.
Will definitely be back at some point as the sushi is good and the variety of rolls is also something to be appreciated.
Another lovely happy hour with friends
One of my fav places to go. Have been going here for years! Always goof fresh sushi! Staff is always friendly. On top of that Lauren is the best bartender and over all nice person.
Loved our dinner at Hapa! The Booty Call Roll was AMAZING! I'll return just to have that again. But really everything we tasted was fabulous!
Just the typical Hapa's; great food, great drinks, great attentive helpful wait staff. The hostess, bartender, waiter, and manager were all very pleasant. There was no lag on the food, that sometimes happens with ordering sushi(sat 7pm).
I reserved this restaurant because it was part of the 1000 points dining but then I only got 100 points due to the fact it was on a Friday. My friends and I (4 of us) went anyways and it turned out really good. We had a good selection of sushi and appetizers, at the end the waitress even gave us a free Fried Rice dish that the chef made extra. Definitely would come back again.
