This is our go-to-place! Every time we've been there, the service and food are consistently top notch. So often you have a great experience but the next visit is a let down, but not Hannah's. Dave Hannah can often be seen mingling with the crowd - he's such a personable guy. The wine list is spectacular, but a great benefit is no corkage fee if you want to enjoy a favorite from your own wine collection.
Date night with the wife. Finally got out of the house with no kids and wanted a nice dinner. The food was EXCELLENT, but we were seated at the booths right by the bar and it was soooo loud we could barely talk to each other. We get enough loud voices and chaos at home, we were hoping for a quiet, relaxing night.
I love Hanna's for any occasion that is remotely special.

We had a great time! Food was delicious...love the deviled eggs app! And great wine selection. Service was wonderful until our main server sat down at another table to visit and we had to wait about 30 minutes for our bill. We still had a great time and will continue to go.
On a busy Saturday night, things could get wrong, not every order will be perfect: I get it. So my steak was super over-cooked - not a big deal, just cook me a new one. Well, before doing so, I had to be humiliated in front of my dining companions/clients. The waitress didn’t believe that my steak was over cooked, so she asked me to cut it in the center so she could evaluate the fact. This is beyond unacceptable. While, I ultimately received another steak, the situation was poorly handled by the staff. Then no manager(s) cared to stop by and asked how things are going. There are plenty of outstanding restaurants in OC, and I will spend my dining dollars elsewhere than Hanna’s.
We always go to Hanna's if we want great steaks, especially their Tomahawk for two. The ambiance and intimacy of the wine room make any occasion very special. The quality of our meal was superb and service was attentive and prompt. The only flaw to an otherwise perfect meal: one member of our party is on a very restrictive diet and could not eat any of the sides that came with his entree. We were told he could "substitute" cauliflower for one of the sides. To our surprise when the bill arrived, there was a charge for the cauliflower. We should have been told there are no "substitutes" and the cauliflower was available at an extra charge. Then we would have elected to order the cauliflower AND select one of the designated sides to share with the rest of our party. In essence, our guest was "shorted" on his dinner. Only the lonely filet mignon arrived on his plate.
