My parents and I had such an amazing experience last night!! Food was excellent, and service was wonderful. The service here both times we’ve been has been a standout. Kate and Katie (manager and assistant manager) make sure that everyone feels like they are being treated well, and they just go above and beyond! We will be back :)

I took my husband out for his birthday to Hank’s. It wasn’t at all what we had expected, the ambiance and decor was amazing. The staff was so attentive and personable. The food was incredible!!! Everything we ordered was top notch, from the drinks to the appetizers down to the main course!! The only thing we couldn’t try was dessert (because we had no ROOM lol)

This was our first time at Hank’s and we came specifically for the oysters and the fried chicken, two of my husband’s favorite. We were celebrating his birthday. The oysters were beautifully shucked and there was a really nice variety; we all enjoyed them immensely. We were disappointed with the fried chicken, as they only offered breasts. We found that very odd. We specifically prefer thighs, and often will ask for a restaurant to substitute out the breasts for an additional thigh when we order this dish. We were really surprised that they only offered boneless white meat. My husband felt like he was eating an adult chicken tender and really missed being able to pick off the fried skin from the bones, part of the pleasure of eating fried chicken. Other than that, the collard greens were very unusual and enjoyed by all! The peanut butter pie was delicious and the drinks were boozy and good. We would recommend this place!

The crab cake was to die for! Definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. Would go again but, would sit inside. Too many people walking by that we didn’t know stopped to talk to us. One even asked for money.

What an amazing dining experience! Cocktails - for the summer vibes, go with Blush & Bloom (gin, hibiscus & rosé) or Palomita Loca (tequila, cucumber, grapefruit, jalapeño) Appetizers - Hushpuppies (the whipped ricotta is as smooth as Cool Whip) and the Ceviche (the freshest I’ve ever had) with light & crispy taro chips Dinner - Swordfish - the soy-chile was perfectly balanced , the fish was tender and cooked perfectly, the fried mashed potato was divine (I need to learn how to make for Thanksgiving) and get the Brussel sprouts for a side - cooked with a slight spicy cherry sauce - literal chefs kiss

Vegetables were soaked in balsamic glaze. Brussel sprouts and collard greens were brown. Everything was overly sweet. Did not feel well after. Sad because it is a beautiful restaurant and the service was exceptional. They REALLY need to figure out their food!!
