Hanjip is a modern Korean BBQ restaurant by Chef Chris Oh. We only use the best quality of meat and seafood to deliver a very unique experience.

There is a 15 minutes grace period following the time of your reservation, but if exceeded your table will be lost.

We require a credit card for parties of 6 people or more. There is a cancellation fee of $45 per person if the reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance. The amount charged to the credit card on file will be mailed to the reservation holder in the form of a Hanjip gift certificate to use at a later date of their choosing.

Unfortunately, due to limited seating, we can only accommodate parties up to 6 people at one table. For parties of 7 or more, we cannot guarantee conjoining tables.

The food is so good. Drove all the way from San Diego to eat their cheese corn and kimchi fried rice. So yummy!

You don't leave this place smelling like smoke! They will change the griddle top often and don't hesitate to ask. Meat quality is inconsistent and side dishes change .

We had a horrible experience at Hanjip. We booked our reservation for 9:45 for our anniversary and when we showed up we were told that the restaurant was closing. They told us that "open table doesn't understand our hours" and when I asked why they didn't call us to let us know that our reservation was outside of the time they were seating they told me they do not check Open Table to see if they have reservations that are upcoming. I had to beg and convince them to serve us. From there the service was slow and practically non-responsive. They did nothing to make up for the mistake and confusion or to even make this celebratory meal special. The food was ok- not great and the experience was unacceptable.

Great place to take the kids, service was very friendly, attentive and efficient. The food ends up being a little meat heavy, but you can adjust it by ordering the courses to your liking.
