Handles Gastropub at the historic Pleasanton Hotel. Our gastropub is a unique combination of a traditional public house (think your favorite watering hole) that serves high quality food. The menu is seasonal, ingredient driven American comfort food with an emphasis on all natural meats, poultry and fish with fresh, local produce. The public house will feature 30 craft beers and 16 local wines on tap. Your favorite cocktails will also be available.

Handles does not recognize reservations done on Open Table. Do not make your reservations on this site!!! They did not find our reservations and they told us that they do not get them if it's made on Open Table. When they have large events- the staff are not well prepared. This is not the first time I have been there. This is the third time I was there to support the same band and saw same thing happen as the last event. Not going here any longer- will support the band at another location. It's too bad cuz I like this group and to have that kind of service just makes it hard to support them locally.

Easter Brunch buffet was clean, high quality and service terrific. Not the cheapest date in town but it's a well laid out, spacious restaurant with good views of the patio and the nice downtown area. Made a last minute change of plans on Easter be no stress. Thanks Handles!

All appetizers/small plates are delicious. Kobe sliders, wings in particular. Salads very fresh. Onion soup thick and savory. Huge selection of craft beers.

This location did not accept open table anymore so reservation not accepted.. Enjoyed food and drinks in the pub area. Gail was friendly and had good suggestions for food.

Terrible service, brunch was half the size it used to be and they advertise burrito bar of which there is none. Very disappointing.

I really would not recommend Handle's. The floors and walls are all hard surfaces; therefore, the noise level is completely out of control. Very difficult to have any intimate conversations. The menu is limited.

This is a great place for comfort food. I had the meatloaf which was delicious. The service was very good in both the bar and the dining room. We will definitely go bck.

I've been frequently coming to Handles Gastropub since they started business in the historic Pleasanton Hotel. I have always enjoyed the quality and selection of the food and beer that they offer, never to be disappointed yet. The only reason I give this review 3 stars on service is because we had to tell our waitress two times to get us glasses of water but on the other hand it's usually pretty good.
