I really like the place, but it is more of a Happy Hour vibe and less about the food selection. I did not realize this when I made the reservation. The food we ordered was good, the choices are very limited. The servers were all great. The drink selection and specials are extensive.

Out with a party of 5. Everything was fine, didn't love anything. Special was delicious but nothing special or out of the ordinary about it... steak and shrimp.

I sat at the outside bar this past Sunday and the waitress was wonderful! She had great suggestions for drinks, brought over a mug of hot water to help keep my hands warm (it was rainy and cold), really friendly. Will definitely be back!

Poor menu selection and service. Brunch time should be clearer (that it ends at 4pm). Chicken tenders vs added chicken on the biscuits, VERY different. And the chicken for the biscuits came out burnt. If you are going to be out of 2 items on your limited brunch menu, consider adding something from your regular menu. Waitress apologized but "didn't realize" we were her table. Our food came out after another table that was seated and ordered after us. We asked for gravy on the side, and biscuits came drowning in it (it was not good, and waitress again admitted fault). Salad was drenched in dressing. Pears in the fruit were clearly over ripe and old. Overall not a good experience.

The service was pretty slow overall. It took a while to get our drinks. When our food finally arrived not all of it was there. We had to ask for the missing items. When we finally got them they were not even that hot.
I wouldn't go back.

Went for the advertised speakeasy during February 2021. Perhaps our expectations were too high but we were all very underwhelmed. The signature cocktails were cute but pretty over priced. Food was very very rich.

Came here for lunch with a friend. Our food was passable. With only 4 tables full, the kitchen made us wait a half hour for our food. Our server was excellent. This appears to be more of a night spot (read bar) than a lunch restaurant. May try again later for drinks, but not for the food, at least not for lunch.

Terrible attitudes. Every employee we encountered was rude and condescending. Our waiter was the nicest of them all except he did not check on us but once. Planned on ordering dinner but left after a drink.

We were first time diners at Handcraft Kitchen and we did the Restaurant Week menu (2021). The service and food were both excellent!! Nice decor and I thought they did a nice job with social distancing indoors (too cold outside for outdoor service, but looked like a nice patio for when the weather is good). We will return! :)
My husband and I visited to experience Miracle Pop Up Holiday event. Our server was wonderful! She was friendly and attentive. We started with the crab and kale dip which was a delicious, large portion. Our server offered to get us more pita to finish our dip. For entrees my husband had the baked chicken and I had the smash burger with fries. My husband enjoyed his entree very much and I enjoyed mine as well. I had the Jingle Ball Nog cocktail to finish and it was delicious! Great experience. Would definitely recommend and return.

Didn’t order food but not an option to put n/a. My girlfriend and I went for the Christmas Pop-up bar on Saturday night at 7:45p. The establishment required masks to be worn upon entering and until you got to your seat. Since there were only two of us we were seated at a two top that was in the middle of the restaurant...normally not a problem. However, in light of the recent uptick in the COVID-19 spread, we were practically on top of other guests that didn’t seem to be concerned about how tightly packed in everyone was. Everyone had their masks off as allowed at their tables but we weren’t really sure what the purpose of wearing a mask was in such a tightly packed establishment. We were amazed that this establishment made no effort to practice social distancing between the tables, unlike other restaurants in the Lowcountry. While the servers did wear masks, they didn’t wear any gloves when tables were being bussed...I literally watched a waitress bus a table of 8 touching the forks that people had eaten off of with her bare hands. It is apparent that the staff either never received proper training from management on cleaning and hygiene techniques during a pandemic. Pretty sure DHEC would’ve shut them down on the spot for having the restaurant at full capacity and virtually no preventive measures followed. We honestly would’ve just left and probably should’ve but I didn’t want my credit card to be charged a $25 fee. Our waiter was very professional. We didn’t order food. We quickly consumed our over priced cocktail in an uncomfortable setting and regret that we even attempted to patronize this establishment. As far as the Christmas Pop-up Bar, it was really disappointing as I just felt like I was in an airport bar with Christmas lights...I know the restaurant industry has been hit hard and I am a supporter of local businesses but again, not sure how or why this establishment doesn’t fall the appropriate guidelines put in place with limiting guests inside.

We went for the Christmas pop up and it was absolutely fantastic. He atmosphere, food,drinks, and service were absolutely phenomenal! I will absolutely go back to the pop up once it’s over

This was our first time here, we had two out of town guests and were excited about the holiday decorations and drink I read about. What appalled us was that this restaurant didn’t observe social distancing! We felt very uncomfortable with tables so close together, very disappointed. Food was not that great, sorry to say. Decorations and server were excellent though, not sure if we will return though :(

Way way way too crowded. Zero covid safety measures. Tables packed in way too close together.
Took over an hour to find out they were out of what we ordered. They brought another table’s food to us but since we ordered the same thing, we accepted it. Other table had also waited over an hour for food. They only accepted reservations, so not having appropriate food quantity and staff is unacceptable.

We went for the Christmas drinks and were not disappointed! Our server (Taj) was very knowledgable and passionate about the drinks and the food. we did not order food, but plan to go again to try it.

Service was a little slow and didn’t come back to check on us. The food was decent. The drinks were alright but a little expensive. I got the jingle balls nog which is like maybe 4 oz of drink and it was $13.
Went for the Christmas pop up event. Expected the decor to be a little bit more fabulous and over the top but the food was so very delicious and our server was just wonderful. Very professional staff and super quick service at both bar and table.

We be had to sit by the front door, which was kept open, and we were freezing. The host said it was to keep COVID out. 🤷♀️ He said he would turn the heat up, but we were cold the whole time. Food was marginal. Miracle drinks were pretty good. Our waiter was excellent. We were a bit disappointed.

Hey Michelle, Thank you for your review. During our Miracle Christmas Cocktail event we serve cocktails for $13 all of which have handcrafted syrups and special mugs and glassware. Typically, (not during Miracle) our signature drinks around $10 and use high end craft spirits and techniques. We also server $5 drinks for happy hour daily from 4-6pm. We hope you can stop back in and enjoy in 2021.
The Christmas themed pop up was extremely fun but the food was very average. We waited over 45 minutes and the steak was extremely thin and over cooked. My friend got the chicken entree and it was also dry and over cooked.
We would have preferred to just stay for the fun cocktails.

Our drinks and food were so good! Our server was knowledgeable about all the items on the menu and gave great recommendations.
Not impressed - before our group was even seated we were told we only had an hour and a half for our reservation. This is not mentioned anywhere when booking and seems like very little amount of time for a large group on a Friday night who had planned to spend a lot of money drinking, enjoying appetizers, and meals. Everything was rushed. Our food came out before our drinks. The food was mediocre at best. The drinks were okay. The a Christmas theme makes it fun, but we felt like we couldn’t even enjoy we were so rushed. Won’t be back
Great place to meet for a drink. They have a limited food menu and the food is good not outstanding for the value. The service is always pleasant. We loved the Festive Christmas decorations . We will go back and recommend to friends!

Breakfast with Santa event. Paid $120 for two adults and one 9 month old (who did not even eat but we were still forced to pay for). I understand that for these types of events you’re paying for the experience but it was overall terrible. Food was served family style but only 1-2 items brought out at a time, instead of the full meal at once, and we waited 15 minutes in between the servings. The server instructed us to ask for more of something whenever we needed it which we did, but even after requesting multiple times we were still not brought what we asked for. Took forever to get drinks. Called the manager the next day and was given a lackluster apology with an offer for a gift card which I did not even bother to accept. Lesson learned for next year.
Also, the santa was young and had dark brown hair (so unbelievable) and a horrible costume/beard. I would have been more upset had my child been old enough to register these things. We still haven’t received the QR code we were promised to download digital copies of our photos. We did receive one printed photo but the quality was awful. The manager assured he would send it via email but still has not a week later.
Terrible experience with the brunch with Santa. Less than mediocre food, terrible Santa. Would have expected more for the money and Charleston area.
Taj was an excellent server. This was a fabulous event for our family that we would love to do again next year.

First time here for the Santa brunch and would not go back. Food was gross, overly expensive and they tried to charge me $17 for my 5 week old being at brunch.. pretty ridiculous.
First off Santa was a young man with dark hair and now my son doesn’t believe in Santa, second off the food was almost as bad as a hotel breakfast. THEN we had an automatic gratuity put on our check for three adults and three kids under 4... I’m very disappointed that I as a single mom was trying to do something fun for my child and visit Santa with breakfast but it was honestly the biggest waste of money.
