Long time fan of H&H. First visit since they expanded. Was seated in the new downstairs side of the restaurant. It WAS very busy with several big groups which will tax any restaurant. As always the menu and the food were excellent. Service has always been a strong suit and quality and intent was there but servers just spread too thin this night so service was slow. Noise level and the slamming front door were really my biggest complaints. I may be showing my age but this new side just too loud. I've left several glowing reviews for H&H in the past and they were earned. I am sure I will leave another - but I'll sit on the original side of the restaurant.

The shrimp cocktail's shrimp was excellent but, the "cocktail sauce" was warranting. I do a better cocktail sauce with eye's closed at home. The worst cocktail sauce ever. I suggest they stick to original recipe rather than try to be fancy. It failed. The salad greens were not fresh and the buttermilk dressing was over saturated. Could barely eat it. Steak was well cooked but very thin. Not a steakhouse place at all. I have eaten in restaurants worldwide and I would describe this as mediocre food with trying too hard to be different. Sadly it will not make my list of places to go in the Marietta area. So sad I hoped for so much more.

Good overall experience. My take on the food itself is partly good partly could be improved. Made a reservation, and a table was waiting for us. Service was excellent. As far as the food goes, I can only judge from my perception of the dishes on a single visit. If you don't want intense, concentrated flavors, this would not suit you. I found some dishes excellent, others seemed overly salty as opposed to letting fresh ingredients and herbs do most of the flavor work. The bread they bring out for all customers was fantastic, obviously came hot out of the oven to the table, flaky outside and served w. herbed butter. I liked the cornbread salad--yes, warm cornbread chunks rather than croutons. It seemed to be jalapeno cornbread with enough spicy heat to make you need to drink more. A pretty intense surprise for a salad, but I liked it. The main dishes and the roasted cauliflower side dish had plenty of flavor, but much if it I attribute to being salty. I'm not expert enough to be sure I'm right about the salt thing, but that's my assessment. Not that salt has no place in these dishes. I just thought it was overdone.

Food adventures to be had here. But with adventure, sometimes, things go sideways. We have eaten here probably over 10 times. 20% of the time it’s fine but the food just doesn’t hit.

This place always reminds us to never underestimate a restaurant. The drinks are phenomenal and creatively different. But it’s the food that knocks it out of the park. Don’t know what they do but we have tried everything on their menu and can’t really say which is our favorite because all of their options are incredibly tasty. Love this place and we are very excited that they are expanding the dining area which will allow for better options when making a reservation. Don’t pass this place by. It will surprise you.

This was our first visit to Hamp & Harry’s. We brought our friend for brunch to celebrate his birthday. We didn’t know what to expect but and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was unusually good. Each of us had a different menu item and we were all delighted with our meals. The waiter was so sweet and so attentive. It was a really lovely experience!

Second time visiting- food was amazing, service was horrible. Never got refills on our drinks… Had to hunt down our waiter after 20 minutes to get our check (that’s 20 minutes after we were done eating, probably 35-40 since getting our food). Overall it was a very disappointing second experience. Not sure if we will be back.

Food was incredible, a step above most top notch eateries in the area. Service was on point. Great drink selections. Everything was perfect except it was very loud inside...luckily we were able to get a table outside.

Second time here. First was better. This time service was slow. Sat down and no waiter for over 10 mins. Salad was overly seasoned and salty. Ordered steak frites medium but came very rare and luke warm. Truffle butter was not melting on steak. For these prices better service and product expected.

Great time. Great service! Food was super yummy! However, it is super loud. Hard for conversation with a large group. They do need some acoustical baffling to help with it! Otherwise, perfect evening. I can’t wait to see the expansion!

Wer combined appetizers with smaller plates from the menu. Creative, with just the right amount of heat and combination of spices, curries and vegetables. The Ahi Tostadas punctuated by a touch of aji Amarillo were a favorite. Great service.

The tuna tostadas were delicious, and my son loved the short rib dumplings. Popovers were also very good. However, it was $180 for 2 starter salads, 1 appetizer, 1 small plate, 1 entree (burger), and 3 drinks. That just seems a little too much for small sizes, so don't be surprised with the prices!

Always a great experience here. I went in the middle of the week and received the great service and food that I have come to expect. If you get the chance, try the chicken and dumplings. Not what I had expected in a great way. The server stated the chef called it his audition dish, and I can absolutely see why. One of the best chicken dishes I have had.

As always, the food was perfection and the staff was professional, attentive (but not overly so) and friendly. Have never had a bad meal at Hamp & Harry’s. Kudos to the chef and the wait staff. Only “complaint” is that when I go, I am unable to have a cocktail. H&H still does not offer a potato vodka (like Chopin) for those who can not have wheat or corn…..or other grains. With a literal wall of alcoholic choices, it seems an oversight to not add one more bottle to cover all bases. I’ve been asking since they opened, to no avail. Their ginger ale is excellent, but I’d prefer have a good cocktail with friends after work.
