Mains were the only good thing about the evening. Unfortunately we did not enjoy our time at Hamley’s, celebrating our anniversary here for the first time. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed breakfast in the past, but dinner just missed on many accounts. Over cooked shrimp from the coconut shrimp appetizer, and only 5 prawns at that $22 price tag is outrageous. It took 10 minutes to receive our drinks, which was only a glass of wine and a diet soda, and water. We received a bread ‘basket’ with two extremely dry and tough rolls. My main was missing one of the enhancements I had ordered, but it was brought out quickly. Again, over priced on the sautéed mushrooms. I received a 1 oz ramekin of slice white mushrooms, for $8…. Not worth the price whatsoever. The steak was cooked and seasoned beautifully, and my wife enjoyed her Chicken Parmesan. There were bugs flying around our booth, one was stuck to my fork, to which I was given a replacement one quickly, which was nice, but got me questioning the cleanliness of the establishment. We were quite disappointed for an anniversary dinner. :(

It was okay! Food was over cooked. Serviced was good when the waiter was around. Pretty place but I will not be going back.

Used to be one of my favorite places to go eat when I came to Pendleton the rib eye steak I ordered was very tough chewy and no flavor

Our chef has tried nearly every prime-grade rib eye available, and this prime-grade cut has had the fewest complaints—but we recognize a bad piece can still get through on occasion. Service was extremely slow. My vegetables were not just luke warm, they were cold. My steak was not warm either. It took forever to get waited on and the food took well over 45 minutes. I ordered a drink and it sat on the counter for over 10-15 minutes. We had to go up and tell the bartender that we thought that was our drink and she brought it to us. Also, I made my reservation on Open Table and got a confirmation. However when we arrived, the host was kind of rude and said our reservation was pushed out and we no longer had a reservation. We were able to find a table in the bar, but that is NOT what we wanted. The prices were also a little steep. Not sure we will go back and we may NEVER use Open Table again. If you helped us get a reservation, why did it pushed out and given to someone else. Ridiculous! Both Hamley's and Open Table failed us!!

Service good. Had Steak and baked potato. Steak great. Baked potato came out cold. I sent it back. It came out luke warm. Wouldn’t even melt the butter. Disappointed.

A cold or lukewarm side dish—especially one as classic as a baked potato—should never make it to the table, and certainly not twice. Absolutely love the building/ history and company. We had a 7:30 reservation and we got food at 8:55. The waitress was nice and she kept telling us she was sorry it was “so crazy in here tonight”. The food had good flavor but everything was served lukewarm. The pasta dish was really salty and the culottes were fairly tough. There were 8 of us, 1st visit for each of us. We would likely not go back for dinner. Maybe to sit in the bar and have a well drink.
