   Did not have a great experience. Have been there multiple times before but this time we noticed the place needed a deep cleaning. Dust on trim work all throughout the restaurant, I was given a mug twice that had lipstick on it. The server seemed annoyed that I brought this to his attention since it happened twice! Not sure what is going on with management there but for as beautiful as the Alfond is the service and standard at Hamilton were disappointing.

   We had a fabulous brunch there on Sunday before we went to see Hamilton. The ambiance was delightful, service was good and the food was delicious. We even had a saxophonist as entertainment. Truly enjoyed the experience.

   The duck was terrible, sent it back and still couldn’t eat it when it came back out. Tuna tartare was hard to eat, the pieces weren’t cut well.

   The crispy duck was outstanding, the Waygu rib eye was very good. Disappointed they took the Biscoff Creme Brulee off of the menu, was really looking forward to trying that.

   The food was slow in coming and our fish dishes were cold as well as the rice with it. The dessert took a long time to be served - it was ice cream with fruit.

   Our experience met and in some ways exceeded our expectations. As an example, the chef stopped by our table to inquire how we were enjoying our entrees. This was a nice touch and very much appreciated.

   The restaurant charges way too much for what it is. The salad was not fresh and we had to send it back. We ordered the veal at medium temperature and it came out well-done. Sending back 2 dishes is unacceptable for the restaurant of this caliber! Very disappointed.

    My son ordered a porterhouse veal chop and was brought a pork chop he had to point it out to the server that it was not a porterhouse wheelchair. I ordered the mac & cheese with crab and there was little or no crab in the dish. We eat at the Alfond a lot because we live in the neighborhood and it’s a wonderful place to go to but tonight’s meal it was way less than expected.
